SUMMER IS GREAT IN BIG SKY, BOOK NOW!!!
Welcome, come explore “The Last Best Place”. One of our most recent guests stated, “Big Sky is still under the radar”; meaning great snow, lots of sun-shine and no lift lines.

Big Horn 29 is a ski-in/out, 3 bedroom/3 bath town home. We are perfectly situated in the Big Sky Resort Mountain Village to be ski-in/ski-out and within walking distance to the restaurants and shops in the Mountain Mall. This large condo (~1595 sq ft) is perfect for families and groups of friends; and we welcome children. POMA lift access to the base of Big Sky is only 50 yards from the front door. The Mountain Village is the only place to be during ski season.

Something a little extra:

* Rosemary-Mint bath amenities by Absolutely-Natural
* Complimentary firewood
* Tiled entry and baths
* Large Crock Pot
* Pack-n-Play crib for small child

The living area has a vaulted wood ceiling and makes a great gathering spot at the end of a long day on the slopes or at the end of a summer hike. Sit down, put your feet up and enjoy the comfort of the river rock wood-burning fireplace as you share stories of your adventures. As the sun begins to set you can watch skiers take their last run of the day down the Bear Back poma run. The room features plenty of seating, a large screen TV, stereo system with DVD/CD, games, books and puzzles. We are always making upgrades to our condo, because we like to use it too.
Please let us know if you have any special requests. We will make every effort to accommodate you so that everything is exactly the way you want it upon your arrival!
The open floor plan features a renovated kitchen; Silestone countertops, and every appliance needed to prepare meals for a crowd. The rustic wooden bar top provides a gathering spot for friends and family to enjoy a hot chocolate or glass of wine while dinner is being prepared. The dining table opens to sit up to eight comfortably.

The Master Bedroom has a king-sized bed with a rustic log headboard, full bath, walk-in closet and TV. The second bedroom upstairs has a queen-sized bed, large down comforter and a private full bath. The “Bunk Room” (sleeps 3-4) is on the ground level with handmade log bunk beds (a single over a double) and another single bed, and a TV. There is a pull out full-sized sofa in the living room. There is also a Pack-N-Play for the comfort of your small children. All of the rooms have lots of closet space and drawers.

                    This is our 3rd year staying at this condo for our spring skiing vacation. Everything was perfect (even the snow). We like this place so much and are always pleased with the amenities Lisa provides. Fully stocked kitchen, nice welcome, and great bedroom options that accommodate kids and adults. A great walk in closet works well as the baby's room, too. We are especially pleased with how well located the condo is to the poma lift that gets us on and off the mountain. It doubles as a great sledding hill after hours, too.

                    Owner response: I enjoyed the photo of Sharon's grandson in the pond skim!!! I'm glad this condo works so well for their family.

                    Lisa (the owner) was exceptionally helpful supplying information about the unit and the area prior to our travel to Big Sky. The unit itself is very comfortable and very thoughtfully appointed. Additionally, the location of the unit would be hard to beat. It was a very short walk (a couple of minutes) to a lift and only a few minutes longer to the base area and shops/restaurants. We hope to be back next year!

                    Property is in the perfect location; ski-in/ski-out or easily walk to mtn village. Slept 5 adults with no problem, kitchen provided everything we needed (pre-order from Hungry Moose highly recommended), garage is great for ski storage, and the unit is well kept. Value for all of the above is best in Big Sky.

                    Big Horn 29 was an excellent choice for our group of three men. The owner is easy to work with and the information pack Lisa sent prior to our visit was detailed and thorough. Her info pack included various discount offers including one that saved one son 20% on rental gear. We flew into Bozeman, chose not to rent a car, and it was perfect. The Poma lift is across the street (maybe a 50' walk) and a walk to the Village restaurants and shops is maybe 5 minutes. There is a free shuttle bus we just didn't need it.

                    Owner response: It was great to communicate with Tony during his reservation process. I'm so glad that he took the opportunity to vacation with his sons!!! They created a lasting memory over a long weekend.

                    Three generations (one 80th birthday celebrated) skiing in and out. A terrific location for a family for skiing, shopping and dining out. Perfect, clean, well maintained, comfortable accomadations for six people. Big Sky is the most beautiful ski area -- our weather was such I'd name it Big Blue Sky. The property gets an A+ and we'll enjoy the memories for a long time.

                    Great choice for a true ski-in/ski-out condo. This was our third ski trip to Big Sky and the second time we've stayed in the Big Horn Condos. We've also been inside 3 other condos rented by family members. Of all of them this was our favorite. First off location. Ski-in/Ski-out will spoil you. No cars, no buses, no shuttles. Get your skis and lift tickets when you arrive and spend your time skiing not waiting (by the way it is rare to see a lift line at Big Sky). I'd watch out the window and when the lift operator showed up I headed to the lift. Coming back I literally skied to the garage door. If you are coming to ski this is the way to go. Of note the Big Horn Condos are a decent size complex and not all units are this close to the slope. Condo: Very nice set-up. Kitchen was well supplied. The bedroom set-up was the best we saw (King, Queen, plus a kids room that could sleep 4). Plenty of firewood in the garage. Dinning room table had additional leaves in the closet to accommodate 8 plus the 3 bar stools. Another feature that we loved but had never thought of previously was the keypad lock on the front door. You don't have to worry about keys when you are skiing and if your group splits up everybody can still get back in the condo as needed - brilliant. Owners: Lisa is great. She was very accessible and accommodating. We didn't have any issues but I was confident that had we needed anything she would have resolved it. She wanted to make sure we had a great time and really made the process painless. By the way Lisa, thanks for the bottle of wine. Overall: This was a great selection. There is always a degree of unknow when you rent a place online but this exceeded our expections and alleviated any concerns we had. If you are looking for a comfortable, conveniently located, and care free condo I recommend you try this one. Just make sure it is available when we come back next time.

                    Owner response: Thanks for your wonderful comments. I'm glad you enjoyed the wine.

                    This was our 2nd stay at Lisa's condo and everything was just as great as the last time. The location near the Bear Back poma provides convenient access to the ski slopes. The condo is well equipped. This time we had a 6 month old with us and the upstairs bedroom even has a pack N play and the walk-in closet doubles as a baby bedroom for naptime. The condo is so close to the mountain village as well as the ski slopes that it is easy to walk up for a dinner out. We love the bedroom arrangement as it accommodates our diverse group.

                    We enjoyed our stay at Big Horn 29. The condo was very comfortable and met all our expectations. It is very convenient to the Back Bear Poma Lift. We were able to literally ski right up to the garage door on a few days while we were there! We were very impressed with the closet space. We've rented before when the owner's take up a lot of closet space, but Lisa is a very considerate owner. We would stay there again if we get the chance. Thanks for everything!

                  Owner info

                  Year Purchased: 2005

                  About the owner: Dear Guests, We live in Florida on the Space Coast. To get away from the heat we decided to visit Yellowstone National Park in the summer of 2003. We enjoyed it so much we skied at Big Sky in March 2004. We were stunned by the beauty, great snow, no lift lines, friendly locals, great restaurants and especially no crowds. We were not planning to purchase a second home, but in October of 2004 we went back to house-hunt and found Big Horn #29. We purchased this specific condo because of its close proximity to the poma lift.

                  Why the Owner Chose Big Horn:
                  Big Sky and Moonlight Basin are great ski mountains. At times, we find ourselves on wide open slopes that no one has skied on yet that day, and we never stand in a lift line. But Big Sky is more than a ski mountain. We find something different to do everyday in the summer. We drive to West Yellowstone for a day in the park, we’ve been to a rodeo, white-water rafting, horse back riding, hiking, and I could go on.

                  The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
                  Big Horn #29 is in a GREAT location, the front door is 50 yards from the poma lift. The bedrooms are all large with private baths. We made many special upgrades since we purchased it. We added silestone kitchen countertops, slate tile flooring in the entry and kitchen, hand crafted log beds in the Bunk Room and Master bedroom and many, many other extras that we most recently added. We want families and large groups to feel comfortable and welcome.
