Why the Owner Chose Big Horn
Big Sky and Moonlight Basin are great ski mountains. At times, we find ourselves on wide open slopes that no one has skied on yet that day, and we never stand in a lift line. But Big Sky is more than a ski mountain. We find something different to do everyday in the summer. We drive to West Yellowstone for a day in the park, we’ve been to a rodeo, white-water rafting, horse back riding, hiking, and I could go on.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
Big Horn #29 is in a GREAT location, the front door is 50 yards from the poma lift. The bedrooms are all large with private baths. We made many special upgrades since we purchased it. We added silestone kitchen countertops, slate tile flooring in the entry and kitchen, hand crafted log beds in the Bunk Room and Master bedroom and many, many other extras that we most recently added. We want families and large groups to feel comfortable and welcome.
Owner's Map of Big Horn
Dear Guests,
We live in Florida on the Space Coast. To get away from the heat we decided to visit Yellowstone National Park in the summer of 2003. We enjoyed it so much we skied at Big Sky in March 2004. We were stunned by the beauty, great snow, no lift lines, friendly locals, great restaurants and especially no crowds. We were not planning to purchase a second home, but in October of 2004 we went back to house-hunt and found Big Horn #29. We purchased this specific condo because of its close proximity to the poma lift.

Loved your SO CONVENIENT place! We couldn't believe how lucky we were. We thoroughly enjoyed the Keurig! My family had a great time with super instructors learning to "ride" snowboards. What an incredible mountain!! The best we had skied in the past twenty years of skiing from Canada to Austria and Switzerland to Colorado, Wyoming and Utah. We enjoyed your perfect mountain get away. Should we be so fortunate to revisit the area, we will book with you.

This is a very comfortable, nicely finished condo in a convenient location. The three-bedroom layout offers flexibility for families or friends, especially with the downstairs bed configuration; it would have been easy and comfortable to accommodate more people than our 4-person group. The kitchen is very nicely equipped for cooking, with a complete array of pots and utensils. Nice furnishings throughout, and sitting in the eating area is plentiful. My family was very happy for internet access. This is a terrific location, with lots to do in the summer. The owner provided great tips and along with our own research about Big Sky, we had a great time whitewater rafting, hiking, ziplining, horseback riding, and more.

Best Ski In/Ski out condo we've ever stayed at Big SKy

We've stayed at several condos at Big Sky listed as ski in/ski out but Lisa's condo is truly ski in/ski out. It is perfectly located not only to the short ride up the poma lift (which even our 4 year old could do), but right on the Skyline bus line and also a very short walk to the Mountain Village. Lisa's condo was perfect for our group which included a mix of children and adults. Everything we needed was there. Also, the internet access was solid. For those of us in the group who still had to have a work presence having a solid wi fi connection was a relief. Very kid friendly with a selection of sleds in the garage and all kinds of great snow banks to dig out. We will definitely book this condo again.

We had a great week at this condo/resort and would go back in a heartbeat! EVERYTHING about it is wonderful, from the fully outfitted, ultra-clean, well-appointed unit. The amenities include lots of things that you would not expect to find in a typical ski condo. The owners provide for almost everything and are so helpful and concerned about your stay, providing lots of "inside info" about the resort and the area in general. All those tips made for a super week for us.......like the fact that Karst Stages will stop to pick up groceries @ Albertson's if you pre-order from them, via fax or email. I emailed ahead and all our groceries were in a cart awaiting our pickup on the way from the airport to the condo. We made the other 45 people [that weren't aware of this service] on the bus very, very jealous! The location is perfect, esp relative to the poma lift. Sometimes, you'll see a unit advertised as "right across the street" from a lift.......well, in this case it was very true!! Very, very convenient......truly ski-in/out. You cannot beat this condo and resort........wonderful time and wonderful skiing and we'll be back! Hats-off to the owners and their hospitality!

Cozy and roomy, this condo had lots of "extras". Well equipped kitchen, and very close to the slopes. You can ski right up to it (if you don't mind skiing across the road) and in the morning it's only a short easy walk to the poma lift which takes you to the main ski area. Very quiet and well insulated. I never heard any noise while sleeping. Comfortable mattress. Beautiful cedar-wood ceiling. Stone fireplace is just what you want in a ski condo! Lots of wood is provided for the fireplace. Recommended highly.

Big Horn 29 could not have been better. The location was amazing. Literally 50ft away from the front door was the Poma Lift takes you up to the Silver Knife run. In 2 minutes you are on your way up Ramcharger or Swift Current Lifts to the top of the mountain. It is also just a 2 minute walk up the hill to the Mountain Village at night for dinner at Whiskey Jacks. The Cabin itself was very accommodating. We used the Crock-Pot to make some chili. The cabin was clean and slept the 5 of us perfectly. The cabin made for a perfect ski weekend and Lisa could not have been more helpful! Look no further than Big Horn 29 for your trip to Big Sky!

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property. It is located in Big Sky, which is still "under the radar" in terms great vacation spots. There are numerous shops and restaurants within walking distance. Activites such as horseback riding, biking, zipline and whitewater rafting are all within 20 minutes. We used the condo as a "base camp" for Yellowstone, which is a little over 40 miles away (within an hour). The listing description is accurate. The condo is well furnished and maintained and comfortably sleeps up to 8. The owner was very helpful in suggesting activities in Big Sky and answering questions. In summary, I would highly recommend this property as it is well furnished and maintained, close to numerous activities in the Big Sky area, and is a suitable base for Yellowstone adventures.
