You need only cross a one-way residential street to enjoy the beach. Very easy, no need to load car and waste gas to get to the beach. The beach is ideal for families and children.
The cottage is immaculate and lovingly maintained. It has its own raised patio area. The cottage features hardwoods throughout. Fully equipped kitchens with all the modern necessities.
A/C units in bedrooms, wireless internet & DVD. Bedding is one queen and two twins, with one fold up cot in each room most suitable for children. Fabulous enclosed/private outdoor shower is a favorite feature of most guests. Commercial gas grill on premises. Guests bring your own linens and towels.
Onset is situated at the head of Buzzards Bay, within minutes of the Cape Cod Canal with its terrific jogging and biking paths. No need to deal with Bridge traffic and waste gas! Kayaking, jet ski rentals are available on beach, as well as deep as fishing and canal cruises.
Within walking distance is fabulous waterfront Spa which offers massage and other pampering. Town Center offers a little bit of everything, including an Italian pizza shop, ice cream and candy shop, small market, Dunkin Donuts, homemade Salt Water Taffy and even a blues venue.
Scores of independent restaurants within 5 minute drive (seafood, Italian, mixed menu). New shopping mall featuring Borders Books, Target, TGIF, & Movie Cinemas within 10 minutes.

Took my family here over the 4th of July 2010. The accomodations were perfectly maintained and clean. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 children ages 12, 8, and 5. Beach is fantastic and very close. The downtown area is within walking distance, even for the kids, and exudes charm and hospitality. The only thing nicer than the accomodations, are the hosts. You will enjoy staying where the hosts are eaily accessable to help, but never interfere with your vacation. Only a 5 minute ride to the Cape and easy travel on mainland, as interstate is only a few minutes away. Went whale watching out of Plymouth, saw 24 whales, and it was only about 30 minute drive. The drive to the ferry for Martha's Vineyard was about 20 minutes. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering travel to the area. Thanks Marilyn and Aurthur for a wonderful experience for me and my family. --BRW
