The access road is private with a gate and shared by only one other cabin. Try taking meals on the large deck and experience the mountain views!
Even though it is secluded, the Valley View is a beautiful 30 min drive from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Knoxville Airport. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg both are tourist destinations themselves with live shows, restaurants, shops, small theme parks, museums, Ripley's Aquarium, and arcades.
Families can enjoy many outdoor activities in Townsend itself such as horseback riding, intertubing, golf, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, road biking, spelunking, rock climbing, wildlife watching, and hiking. Whitewater rafting excursions can be arranged in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge with launch points about 30-45 minutes from Valley View.
