The pictures don't really capture how amazing this house is. There were 9 of us for the weekend, and we took advantage of all the amenities: we spent a day on the lake in the pontoon boat, watched the Laker game in the theater room Saturday night, cooked huge meals in the amazing kitchen, and spent quite a bit of time in the pool and hot tub. It was a truly relaxing weekend. I hope to stay again in the future.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The experience was great. You were helpful in the booking processes when I had questions and very accommodating with the request for late checkout. The home is beautiful, very inviting and the view is wonderful. We rented the house with friends to enjoy a festive weekend away and we got exactly what we had hoped for and more, there was more than enough space and never felt like we were crowded on top of each other, it was very relaxing yet had enough to do at the house that we didnt leave the whole weekend!!! The experience was very nice and we hope to rent from you again in the warmer months and bring our family this time. Thank you for the use of your beautiful home.

The property is beautiful and well appointed. The listing description and photos are a true depiction of the property. It was my first time renting through vrbo and it was a great experience, thanks to the property owner, Mai. She was very prompt in responding to all my inquiries and I appreciated the fact that I was able to communicate with her via phone, text or email. I would definitely stay again if I'm ever in the area. The pool area is wonderful and the kids absolutely loved it, including the theatre room. Also, appreciated the prompt return of my security deposit. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Beautiful house and a great rental. We stayed for a weekend as we had a wedding in the area. The house met and exceeded our expectations. As we do a lot of home rentals it was nice to see a house that meets everything it was advertised to be and a smooth rental process. Would definitely rent again in the future.

We are from the UK and have stayed in Canyon Lake a few times, but not at this house before. We stayed at the house for 16 nights and It surpassed all of our expectations and allowed us room to have family over to visit during our stay. Its a large well presented house, with ideal facilities and a great location, trust me you will not find a better home for rent in Canyon Lake currently, great value for money.We made use of the Kyaks, pedal boat and also rented the Pontoon Boat which was excellent if you really want to take advantage of the lake. My kids and I spent a lot of time fishing right off the dock, you can actually see the fish(but that doesnt mean its an easy catch)!I found the owner Mai to be very accomodating and helpful before we booked and throughout our stay, nice house, nice honest people what more can I say....apart from we will be staying again.ThanksPaul

We had the most fantastic holiday based in this superb Canyon Lake waterfront home last August, so we are now looking to come back for more in 2010. This is a beautiful property. The home and the views were amazing. Our family was celebrating a special birthday and we all totally enjoyed ourselves. The infinity pool, the design of the kitchen, the views, cleanliness, and decor lent itself to a fabulous time. Our family would recommend you book this home as a peaceful, relaxing vacation spot.

WOW!!What a beautiful home, and the view was amazing, it was very hard to leave such a beautiful and confortable place. The house had everything you can think off. What a perfect vacation rental !. Stayed for a month with 3 kids that wouldn’t like to get back home. The house is big enough for 2 families, but still feels like a home. Owner is friendly and real minded for every need. Wake up to the best resort view one have ever seen in CA. So many good reasons to stay in house: Sailing the Pontoon around the lake, kayaking, hanging in the pool watching the boats go by, watching movies in the theatre room - which is amazing, bbqing, playing billiard, fishing, enjoying the spa - usually you should collect all those from 3-4 properties, and here is the one which has it all. Prior to our vacation we spent lots of time browsing vacation rentals. Traveling for a month with kids has its own demands - this house meets them all. We had friends staying over without any problem. Many attractions are in 30-60 min. drive, and so are lots of shopping malls. I would recommend this house to every family who is planning a vacation in southern CA - there is no hotel or vacation rental which can match the cost-effective benefits of this house. More than likely, if you're reading these comments (and you're not the owner) you are considering renting this home. By all means, stop thinking about it, do yourself and your guests a favor, and BOOK IT! We did and LOVED it! We booked this incredible home because we are considering a move to Canyon Lake. As a result, it's no longer a consideration, it's now just a matter of when. This was my first experience renting from vrbo and it couldn't have gone any smoother. The owners, Mai and Jesse, were responsive and more than accomodating. They went out of their way, literally, to ensure my family and I had a positive experience. The home was as wonderful as described by other previous guests. Even if you have Waldorf Astoria tastes, you won't be disappointed. I also highly recommend renting their boat. It's easy to operate and there's no finer way to appreciate the homes that border the lake. Truly, this home lends itself to a relaxing, luxury vacation. For our stay, we chose to eat all our meals "at home". BBQ'n by the pool with an unbeatable view surrounded by family and relaxing with your favorite drink...priceless. Other highlights included: lots of jacuzzi time, kayaking, family games, the theatre room, billiards....you get the idea....we had a GREAT TIME! We're already planning our next trip. My friends and I had the pleasure to enjoy a weekend in this gorgeous home. This is a MUST STAY!!! I would highly recommend this vacation property to anyone. It's beautful, clean, private, and peaceful. This home is much larger than anticpated and it was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. After a long hard day of lounging at the infinity pool, we took the kayaks around the lake, followed by a sunset cruise in the pontoon boat, and ended the evening in the movie theatre room, which truly felt like you were in a movie thatre, but more comfortable with reclining leather chairs. This is perfect for families looking for space with plenty of indoor and outdoor activites to keep the kids occupied, and couples looking for a romantic holiday. My husband and I are already going back in September and we can't wait!

This home is immaculate, spacious and in a great location of the lake. We had amazing views of the water and mountains; the surrounding homes were just as nice and the neighbors were all friendly. I had a chance to watch a movie in the home's theater room, fish for a couple of hours on the dock, kayak around the lake, watch the Lakers beat the Rockets on the plasma TV, swim in the infinity pool and cruise around on the pontoon boat. To close out our weekend we took a quick drive to Temecula and had dinner at Gourmet Italia (delicious food and nice local wine) on Ynez Rd. I can't wait to go back in September!

We have had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home twice, once with my extended family which included a total of 9 guests. This house is soo roomy, we were all very comfortable with our own rooms and bathrooms beautifully decorated. The theater room is a favorite, along with the antique pool table and of course the espresso/coffee machine! The notes on how to use everything were so handy and efficient, everything ran so smooth. The pool and hot tub are a favorite for the kids. Sitting in the private hot tub overlooking the lake, is a better setting than most 5 star resorts can provide. You provide so many activites to enjoy on the lake, we had a great time with the kayaks and even tried a little fishing. The view to the lake and hills from the kitchen and family room are spectacular. This place allows you to truly relax with your family. Our stay was a highlight in our busy vacation. We hope to come back very soon!

Both times I had the pleasure of staying in this luxurious home were unforgettable. From cooking in the state of the art kitchen to accessing the lake right from the backyard dock to go kayaking, my friends and I had a comfortable stay where we were free to relax inside the home (in the theater, playing pool & air hockey, or lounging) or enjoy the outdoors (pedal boating, swimming, or barbecuing). The clean, clutter-free, and simplistic decor give the home a resort-like feel. I really enjoyed the space and privacy offered in each room. The shower in the master bath is amazing and the overall design of the home is definitely something to admire. The large windows in the living room face the lake and provide a fantastic view as well as lots of warm natural light. Whether I'm entertaining a group or looking to spend some quiet time with a special someone, this home would serve both purposes equally well. I can't wait to go back!

I wanted to let you know we had such a great time at your house over the weekend. Your home was beautiful, and made us all feel very special. Thank you for all your little touches, plenty of towels, extra blankets and toiletries. We appreciated the "notes" throughout the house to guide us through all the appliances, the movie projector and where to put our towels after the spa and pool! The weather was perfect. We enjoyed our Saturday at Glen Ivy and our Sunday at the wineries. Your house was conveniently in the middle of both!

Yes, it looks as good as the pictures, even better! We were delighted with our experience at this lovely house. We rented it only for the weekend. It's an easy 1 hour drive from San Diego. I was so impressed that I have recommended the house to friends and will likely return. The house is luxurious, elegant, and is waterfront with access to kayaks and a paddle boat. It was a terrific experience, I look forward to coming back!
