This charming summer cottage is unique in the sense that it is located in the private community of Reydon Shores, and is just walking distance to a private beach and marina. The special feature is its wrap around enclosed porch with a view of the Peconic Bay.
If you enjoy the peaceful country setting, where one could simply relax and sit quietly reading a book or stroll along a private beach then this is the place for you!
There are also many fine restaurants to enjoy located on the NorthFork just minutes away. The famous seaport village of Greenport is approximately 5 miles. There are ferries to SagHarbor and New London Conn. available to those who like casinos or antique shops.

We could not have been more pleased with the location of this house. It is so cute, charming and quaint and was extremely comfortable for our family of three and our old English bulldog who enjoyed the air conditioning the entire time we were there! The owners were wonderful...they met us when we arrived and stocked us with some goodies and wine and recommendations for restaurants in the area. We were only there for four days and didn't want to leave. The beach in the community was beautiful and the residents were very friendly. I grew up on Long Island and spent my childhood summers on the North Fork so we visited many places I remembered from my youth. We cannot wait to return! Thank you!!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners.

We rented this lovely house over the long Fourth of July weekend with our golden retriever! It was a **perfect** trip, thanks to the charming cottage and beautiful beaches! We immediately felt like we were at 'home' after pulling up in the driveway! The house comes with everything you need while at the beach from big beach towels, bbq, an umbrella, washer/dryer, etc etc.... The house is incredibly clean and everything is very well taken care of. We spent each evening on the porch with the windows open and walked to the water to watch fireworks. We loved eating dinner at the table on the front porch and watching the fireflies out on the grass. The house was also a perfect location from the area's beaches, downtown shopping and wineries. There is a beach that is literally across the street and down the stairs...Our dog was in HEAVEN and swam every day! There are LOTS of beaches to explore in the area and they are all within a few minute drive from the house. The owners were very sweet and made sure we were comfortable (thank you Linda & Vic)! We will definitely be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I rented this cottage for myself, my two children and my mother. We had a wonderful getaway in the perfect location. The owners were kind, accomadating and took great care in their house. The house was cozy, clean and well appointed and priced righ!. A perfect summer cottage if you are not looking for a high tech resort. The three block walk to a private beach was lovely. The neighbors were pleasent as well as inhabitants of the beach. I love the area, such a serene part of Long Island that I never knew existed. Would love to repeat the trip!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
