  Breathtaking. If you could describe Vista Azul in one word, brethtaking would be it. Staying here was the most magnificent ending to the most wonderful vacation for me and my boyfriend. After seeing the fireworks in Arenal and thinking that the Marriot Resort was paradise, this surpasses all expectations. Despite sustaining bruises, scrapes, blisters, bug bits ans sore muscles from all of the adventure tours we took, Vista Azul made up for it all. Manuel Antonio has been the best part of our vacation!

  Casa Vista Azul is the BEST!! I've never in my life had a more relaxing vacation then this one. Manuel Antonio is a beautiful Costa Rican town with sincerely friendly locals. From our ocean view living room, Playa Manuel Antonio is just as gorgeous - we loved staring out at the stunning vista of blue ocean and green rainforest. The wildlife at the villa is too cool! We could hardly believe how close the monkeys came to the house! Pura Vida!

  Ahhhh, here's to luxury! I loved this villa! The views, the rooms, the pool/entertainment deck, the maid service - what an amazingly relaxing week in Costa Rica. We spent mornings upstairs in the Great Room, taking in the gorgeous ocean views and then moved downstairs to the pool area where we would all gather for happy hour... that eventually turned into a poolside BBQ! The outdoor kitchen was great for parties - and we made the most of everything at our exposure! We had a blast dancing the night away in Quepos and trying the different restaurants in Manuel Antonio. Once we figured out the lay of the land, we even drove to Jaco one day for lunch and to see the city and beach. It was so different than Manuel Antonio, but it was nice to see something different. Thanks for showing us a fabulous time, Escape Villas!

  This was the best vacation I ever had! Vista Azul was wonderful! The views are great and the people here are so friendly. This was a big trip for all of us as we were celebrating the wedding of our two friends and the anniversary of another couple! Being here in paradise with our closest friends was the best!

  Me and my family loved our trip to Manuel Antonio! The monkey's were so cool - I can't believe how they would come right up to us and even enter the house when we weren't looking! We spent all week trying to find a sloth in the rain forest that surrounds this stunning villa - we finally found one on the last day of our vacation! They blend in so easily and are hard to find! We had a great time horseback riding and snorkeling. Our favorite part was gliding through the rainforest canopy on our zip line adventure tour! My 10 year old was braver than I was! We hope to return next year.

  Waking up every morning to the sounds of the ocean and the cool breezes was the perfect way to start the day. Stroll into the kitchen for a cup of morning joe and then relax on the ocean view couch while taking in the tranquil environment that surrounds you. Head to the beach for a quick swim then back for a shower and lunch. Add in a few cocktails wherever you are - at the house, by the pool, on the beach, at the bar - it's all good! People here radiate a certain contentment that is almost indescribable. It's as if there's something in the ocean water that heals, calms and rejuvenates. I would live this way everyday if I could, unfortunately it's back to reality for me. See you next year!

  This trip to Costa Rica was so much more than I could have ever expected. When my daughter told me she wanted to have a destination wedding I was a bit shocked and worried, but I couldn't have been happier with how things worked out! Tears ran down my eyes as my little girl walked down the beach towards her husband. The ceremony was beautiful... the beach, the ocean, the sunset, the bonfire - everyone was impressed! Thank you for making this special day so wonderful - we will never forget it!

  Oh my, what a week we had! Manuel Antonio is beautiful and so full of life. I came down for my niece's wedding and could not have been more surprised by the lavish affair that ensued! The chef was amazing - we loved all of his meals. You'd think getting ready for a wedding would be chaos, but it was so well planned that all we had to do was shop when ordered! The ladies had a great day at the spa the day before the wedding - facials, massages and mani/pedi's - how divine! Thank you for such a splendid ceremony and vacation - we all loved it so much!

  What a perfect week in Manuel Antonio! My family and friends came here for our friend's destination wedding and we were blown away by how amazing everything was. The dinner rehearsal was gorgeous and our personal chef prepared the most delicious meal that satisfied every one of us! Ricky and Val were so welcoming and helpful - we couldn't thank them enough for helping us plan our tours, details with the wedding party, transportation, etc. Thank you!

  What a pleasant surprise! A home in the trees - so befitting of its environment! We enjoyed our stay at Vista Azul so much and are taking terrifici memories home. We highly recommend white water rafting - such a blast! The troop of monkeys that paraded by the house everyday was such a thrill for us LA city dwellers! The private pool is stellar and we absolutely loved the waterfall area surrouded by the jungle! Staying at Vista Azul was like having a private resort all to ourselves! We hope you have as lovely of a time as we did!

  As I sit here, I am looking out upon the magnificent vista while my family quietly sleeps in this beautiful Manuel Antonio villa. The night sky is filled with rain, thunder and lightening, and it is breathtaking. My entire family has been so filled with wonder and excitement for this past week, that hardly anyone has thought to complain! What a peaceful retreat from our daily lives at home.   What a great first experience out of the country! I was so worried about traveling to a foreign land but once I got here, all my worries melted away! I thought the language barrier would be the hardest to get around - what a relief to find that a lot of the locals speak English. We had the nicest tour guides on our hike through Manuel Antonio Park, our kayaking tour and our zip-lining tour. Everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly. When we weren't out and about exploring Costa Rica, we loved just lounging around this gorgeous house, taking in the views and swimming in the pool. Thank you for such a wonderful time in Costa Rica!

  Villa Vista Azul is spectacular! I dabble in interior design and I truly appreciated the attention to detail all throughout this house! The kitchen is gorgeous - I love the tiled walls and bright tropical colors. The bathrooms are just as beautiful and I loved how each one was so different yet in keeping with a similar theme. The bedrooms are wonderfully appointed with beautiful furnishings yet spacious and clean - the perfect environment for a relaxing week in paradise! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with its beautiful views.

  I Heart Costa Rica & Vista Azul! Staying here was like vacationing at our own private resort! We had our own maids, our own concierge, our own villa host, a private driver and even hired a chef for a few choice meals to top things off! The pool was the best place for late night cocktails while catching up with all my friends. I can't believe we have to leave already! I will miss Costa Rica so much!

  Hands down, time of our lives! This villa is beyond words, this country is indescribable and the locals are the coolest ever! The whole time we were here, we felt on top of the world. I loved going to the beach early mornings while my friends were passed out at the villa - I practically had the beach to myself! I would get a tan and go on long swims before they were even up for coffee! We had so much fun and I have to thank Escape Villas for that. Without all the forethought that went into this week, it wouldn't have been the same.

  602 pictures!! That's how much fun we had this week - and that's only my camera! Seriously, I couldn't have imagined a better vacation than this one. Me and my friends grew up together but have since moved to all parts of the world and I can't describe the amazing feeling it was to have everyone together for this spectacular week in Costa Rica. The house was so huge and comfortable - we loved the tree house/indoor-outdoor feel of it!

  Dude, what a killer vacation we had in Manuel Antonio! This house was the coolest... I never thought my friends could pull this off! Everything was arranged ahead of time, so once we got into town, the party was on! Ricky was a riot and made sure we had everything we needed for an awesome week in Costa Rica. Val hooked us up with the coolest tours and it was so nice not having to worry about transportation since we hired a personal driver. The best part about having a driver was that he was a local so he knew all the best places to go on what days. I did feel bad for the maids - we made a mess on a pretty regular basis, but we left a hefty tip to make up for it! Thanks for such a great time!

  What an awesome week in Costa Rica! Talk about living pura vida! Me and 7 of my friends rented this amazing place in Manuel Antonio and had the best time while we were here! We didn't waste a minute of our vacation! Between the ATV tour, the catamaran tour, surfing at the beach, ziplining through the rain forest and hiking the Manuel Antonio National Park we hardly had the energy to keep the party going come nightfall! However, somehow we still managed! We hit up all the best spots in Manuel Antonio and Quepos, and even made the ride out to Dominical one day - and it was well worth it! It was so cool seeing how different all these small towns can be when they're really not that far from each other. Special thanks to Ricky and Val at the Escape Villas office who kept our coolers stocked and gave us all the local insider info we needed to make this vacation one for the books!

  What a relaxing week in paradise! For 7 glorious days, me and my husband pampered ourselves in Costa Rica. Starting with this magnificent villa that includes daily maid service, we added on a private chef so that we wouldn't have to lift a finger while we were here! We had a masseuse come to the house for a couples massage one day - how romantic! We spent lots of days at the beach swimming in the ocean, but we were feeling lazy, the pool was good enough for us! I can't thank the staff at Escape Villas for planning everything and creating the vacation of a lifetime. Thank you!

  This vacation in Manuel Antonio is just what I needed. It was so nice to just sit back and stare out at the ocean and completely unwind. Both me and my wife loved the master bedroom - if only I could wake up every morning to that spectacular ocean view! By the way, my wife loved the spacious whirlpool tub! It was like her own personal jacuzzi. The privacy on the pool deck is great, we loved being surrounded by the rain forest. We are saddened to return to the rat race but are so happy to have had this rejuvenating week in paradise - we plan to return!

  Vista Azul is so amazing and we were so lucky to find it! Everything we saw and did in Manuel Antonio was incredible! Surfing, white water rafting, horseback riding, canopy tour, and eating at Soda Coma Bien were our favorites! The house was such a treat to return to after a long day of adventure travel! We would stay here forever if we could... I'm sure you'll feel the same way! Pura Vida!

  Wow - perfeft is the word to describe this week! Monkey's, sloths, toucans! The howler monkey's are wild and very noisy! Stefan, the chef, is a must-try - we used him for 3 dinners - 5 star wuality for sure! The view is fabulous and the tree-house living room is perfect for family gatherings. There were 15 of us and we were all very comfortable. Zip-line is #1 fun for all! The maids do an amazing job and laundry too! Concierge, Val and Ricky, were very helpful. Great people, friendly and definately worth a trip back! Thanks!

  This house is beautiful! We loved and enjoyed it immensely! Our room, the master bedroom, was fabulous! The pool house shower - you must try it! The pool was also great for some healthy exercise. The open living area is perfect to see the monkeys and all the jungle's fascinating wildlife. The view speaks for itself! We are going home with many exciting stories, memories and good family bonding, which thickens the glue of us and our children!

  Our family arrived 1 week ago - 4 from Oregon, 4 from SoCal and 2 from NY and what a fabulous week! Thanks to Valerie we had the best trips and the best guides! Ricky was a great host and the house staff (pool/maids) worked very hard to make us comfortable. Chef Leo was excellent - making inventive and scrumptious food - what a treat! We were all delighted by the monkey antics, saw sloths, lots of lizards and tree frogs! The adults and kids were both in heaven! Thank you all for a truly memorable esperience.

  To eveyone who stays at Vista Azul, and to everyone who works to make this villa and our experience so beautiful... This was a trip we could ALL cross-off our "Bucket List". The location is perfect, the view, the living spaces, and everyone who crossed our path added to the unforgettable vacation. We couldn't have dreamed up anything better! Lucky for me, I was married in this home, in the treetop living room. It's certainly the making to begin the rest of our perfect lives together.   Such a great house and what a wonderful stay! We would all return in a heartbeat. Stephan, our personal chef, made the most spectaular meals! The house is soooooo comfortable and the Escape Villas staff is great! The mokey visits are so much fun! Eveyone had a great time and no one wants to leave. This has been the best and most relaxing vacation we have ever had! Particular thanks to Val, who set up lots of great tours and adventures for us. We had such fun, thank you, thank you, thank you!

  We've been here 6 days already and don't want it to end. Everyone at Escape Villas has been so nice and helpful. We want to thank the maid staff for keeping our villa beautiful, too! So much fun has been had in Costa Rica. Going shopping in Quepos, the zipline tour and the ATV tour were awesome! Our tour guides we very cool, too. We have done and seen so much and will be returning next year with more friends and family!

  The Smith Family arrived 13 strong from FL, CT, CO, NY, CA and Quebec and ranging in age from 86+ to 18 months, representing 45 generations to rest, relax, explore and feel like royalty for a week. This beautiful house, Casa Vista Azul, was a delightful base for daily adventures including zip line tours, ATV tour, sunset cruise and a hike through Manuel Antonio National Park. The piece de resisance was our chef, Stefan, who cooked lots of family meals that were puncuated by monkeys, sloths, birds, butterflies and iguanas, both upstairs and by the pool. The poolhouse brought one happy couple very close to nature by waking up to the sound of howler monkeys every morning. The elevator in the house added to the convenience and accessability for those of us who didn't want to take the stairs! The wi-fi was a great way to keep in touch with people back home. The staff at Escape Villas was great and I can't thank them enough for these amazing accommodations. We loved it and please tell the owner if you have a chance!

  What a magical place! We loved Vista Azul and had an amazing time in Manuel Antonio. Thanks to Ricky, the property manager, for being so helpful and cheery! The personal chefs were incredible - we ate like kings and queens everyday! Thanks! mmmmm.... The upper deck was perfect for our early morning coffee and even better, for evening cocktails and beer! We enjoyed the spectacle of monkeys, sloths and birds - so great to be surrounded by nature! We will forever remember and be grateful for our time at Vista Azul. What a great way for me and my friends to celebrate our 30th birthdays!

  Merry Christmas in Paradise! Vista Azul was delightsome (delightful + awesome)! Everyday we watched the monkeys swing and leap from tree to tree up to the villa - the monkey show alone was well worth the cost of staying here! he wildlife was amazing - iquanas, monkeys, lizards, birds, butterflies, sloths - so cool! Whitewater rafter is a must-do and we also had a great time on the canopy tour and kayaking the mangroves. Even our teenage boys weren't as cranky as usual! BEST TRIP EVER!

  Welcome to Casa Vista Azul! I hope you have as much fun as we had! A large group of us came here for a wedding and we rented both Vista Azul and Casa Fantastica next door. We loved this house and every minute we spent in it! If only we could hide in a little corner of this house and stay here forever! Thanks for all the staff!

  We spent Thanksgiving week in this lovely house with our 3 sons and 5 grandsons to celebrate Grandma's birthday. We had a blissful week - swimming, hiking, mangrove tour, fishing (caught grouper and dorado) and repelling. The views formt he living room were THE BEST - monkeys, sloths, birds and lots of lovely sounds. Chef Stafan was fabulous and all support staff were nice and friendly. Thank you!

  What a fantastic week in this incredible home. Fernando, Ricky and Valerie made all the arrangements so easy and comfortable. Ana is a great masseuse! We has come over for massages on three different days! Themaids did a great job with housekeeping and laundry. A perfect setting in a sllice of paradise!

  We had a blast at this villa! White water rafting, was the best activity! Ricky and Valories set eveything up for us and did a great job. The best restaurant was D'Angel, next to Super Joseth's Try the casadas! Delicious and cheap! Horseback riding and zip lines were also fun. The chefs were great and we will definately be back!

  We had a wonderful stay here in Costa Rica. Everyone was friendly and the accommodations were amazing. Thakn you Ricky and Valorie for setting up everything for us. We all enjoyed Chef Willie and had heavenly massages from Ana. We would love to visit again!

  We spent a week in this lovely house and had the best family vacation ever! Stefan cooked for us 2 nights and the meals were terrific, and also highly recommended. El Gran Escape is Quepos was also great and has a big menu to choose from! We had Ana, a massuese we hired thru Escape Villas, come to the house and she was wonderful! We'll be back!

  What a beautiful experience! This place is incredible! Ricky and his staff and most hospitable. Casa Vista Azul was the perfect place to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We have made memories that will never be forgotten.

  Our family of 19, ages 2 to 60+, had a fabulous time! The house afforded us privacy, relaxation and the staff provided a fantastic service. Leo, our chef, work very heard to please every tast and the maids were wonderful in keeping the place neat and tidy. We definately want to come back. On of our best vacations!

  You guys are awesome. Everything about our stay with you was perfect. The zip lining, atv’s and the fishing(sailfish pic attached)were all a blast.Everyone in our group asked each other at several points throughout our trip to pinch us to make sure we were awake.We took over 1000 pictures, in case you need any…..I attached a picture of one of the sailfish we caught. The guide asked us to forward to them, but I don’t have an email. We have dozens of fishing pics as well as 2 separate fishing videos so let us know if they are interested.We definitely want to hear from you guys, and would not hesitate to stay with you again…..Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!

  All of our family really enjoyed spending a week in Costa Rica here at Casa Vista Azul. Stephane, our chef, made lovely dinners for us several nights. We will definately be recommending the house to others!
