Then you walk down to your own dock and ease the boat into the water for a day in a quiet cove, or perhaps a short boat ride over to the yacht club for dinner. A stay at The Lake House on Lake Chatuge will turn that daydream into a reality. Our spacious lakeside vacation rental can sleep up to eight guests comfortably. Its a newly remodeled three-bedroom, 2 bath house on the Lake, yet close to stores, restaurants and activities in the Hiawassee / Young Harris / Helen area of the North Georgia Mountains. The Lake House has its own dock – for your boat, or our pontoon rental. The house was built to take advantage of lakefront views. There’s a sunroom and screened porch as well as a large hot tub just feet from the shoreline. The heart of the house is the great room with gas-log stone fireplace, 52” cable TV/DVD with HBO, and leather sectional sofa and two recliners. This large room adjoins the open kitchen and indoor dining area. The home is furnished with casual comfort in mind. It has an all-wood interior including hardwood floors, leather furniture and comfortable bedding. Enjoy the Lake - from one of our lakefront living areas in the house, from the hot tub in the gazebo, on the sun deck over the boat dock, and, of course, from a boat. Enjoy the year round sunroom with floor-to-ceiling windows, leather sectional sofa and flat screen TV; and the screened porch with casual outdoor furniture There are three inviting dining areas – in the house, on the covered porch overlooking the lake or at the picnic table lakeside. Of course, you can also picnic on the sundeck or on your boat in a quiet cove on Lake Chatuge. You can even boat over to the Yacht Club for dinner, or try one of the surprising variety of restaurants in town. All three bedrooms have queen-sized beds, and part of the great room sectional converts to a queen-sized sofa bed; so you can comfortably sleep up to eight people. The master bedroom has a flat screen TV/DVD, and a large bath with 6-foot jetted tub, double sinks and shower. The other two bedrooms share a bath with tub/shower.
