Our luxury Beach walk Villa is the closest villa (FRONT ROW VILLA) to the Ocean Beach in Shipyard. This villa is also steps to a large outdoor pool with a huge sundeck. The villa is stocked with goodies for your use: golf clubs, tennis racquets, fishing poles, fishing tackle, and games. The guest is also provided with a private beach locker, right at the foot of the beach, which contains chairs and umbrellas. No need to rent any beach or play equipment when you get here !! Just sit back and relax. In the summer, a private shuttle golf cart makes a stop right in front of the villa if you don't feel like walking the 3 minutes to the ocean or want to come back to the villa to make a quick lunch. The villa boasts a spacious wrap around deck with comfy chairs and umbrellas to enjoy the moss draped live oaks and cool tropical ocean breezes. A birdfeeder provides enjoyment from its many visiting native species.
The master bedroom suite's luxuries include: Jacuzzi tub, travertine tiled bath, cabinetry, King bed with temper pedic mattress, stylish furnishings, walk-in California closet, 21 inch flat screen tv. The Living room boasts a new queen sized sofa sleeper and 42 inch flat screen TV. Gourmet kitchen with all new appliances and Granite. A comfortable dining room to enjoy your creations. Freshly painted November 2009 and tasteful decorations complement this bright and cheery villa. The villa sleeps four, one bedroom and sleep sofa, two FULL baths(two showers and one tub) for privacy. Shipyard Plantation is a private gated resort community with 24 hour security. Beach walk villas are the closest villas to the Atlantic Ocean Beach with a private pool for Beach walk guests. Onsite recreational facilities include 27 holes of golf at the Shipyard Golf Club, world-class tennis at the Van Der Meer Shipyard Racquet Club and the Crowne Plaza offers weekly gym memberships and indoor pool. All at reasonable rates.
The most prized possession of the Shipyard plantation is the Atlantic Ocean Beach access. Golf cart shuttle service to the beach is available in the summers if you don’t care to take our three minute beach stroll. Miles of Paths wind throughout the plantation providing trails for bikers, joggers and walkers of all ages. Trails in the plantation are safe, off the major roads, and are enjoyed by children and adults. Off plantation there are endless bike paths crisscrossing the island so park your car and enjoy.
Lagoons, alligators, and island foliage provide picturesque settings. At the lagoons fish for bass and catfish, on a catch and release basis, or just relax on the park benches in quiet solitude and enjoyment. Don’t forget your Camera!

This 1200 square foot villa provides a fully supplied kitchen with utensils, plates, glasses, cookware, microwave, toaster, and full sized washer and dryer. Relax in the living room on a sofa which contains a queen sleeper. There is a TV/DVD, stereo system, wireless hot spots, fireplace and access to the deck through sliding glass doors. On the deck, there is a table, dining chairs, lounge chairs and umbrellas. There are two full baths in this villa one of which is a whirlpool Jacuzzi. The Beach walk pool is available to villa guests and is a one minute walk from this villa. A unique feature of this pool is that it provides Picnic tables, lounge chairs and areas to sit for either a place in the sun or in the shade, based upon your preference. Also just behind the villa is a Gazebo for Beach walk’s guests enjoyment.
This villa is a three minute walk to the Atlantic Ocean Beach. Additional chair rentals and umbrellas are available for rent on the beach. Also, available for rent are boogie boards, beach trikes, sailboats, and kayaks. Lifeguards are on duty usually from Easter until mid September.
The Crowne Resort Plaza Hotel is a two minute walk from the villa for your entertainment, poolside bar, and dining preferences. Restaurants, bars, outlet shopping, boating, miniature golf, and sightseeing are all within a few miles of the resort. You can walk the beach to nearby resort restaurants for an evening of fun. The popular Coligny Plaza and Harbourtown are close by, allowing you to enjoy shopping, food, and nightly entertainment. In the summer, firework displays are free at the Shelter Cove Marina one evening per week.
Recreational paths connect the entire island, so bring your bikes or walking shoes. Bikes are available at a variety of locations on the island and they deliver them free to your door upon request. A unique feature of this beach is the hard packed sand allowing you to ride your bike on the beach.

Why the Owner Chose Beach Walk
We started visiting Hilton Head Island as tourists in 1990 and staying at the Crowne Plaza Resort Hotel (right across the street from our villa) and just fell in love with the island. It is truly a magical place. My husband and I retired in 2005 from Long Island, New York and lived on HHI for three years in this villa. We purchased the villa for it's excellent location and it was right across the street from the Crowne Plaza Resort where we stayed for years!! During that time we renovated and customized the villa so that we would have maximum enjoyment from staying there. After three years of playing golf, tennis and going to the beach we decided we really wanted to own a house again and be near a larger city. Therefore, we built a house in jacksonville florida and still own our villa to use for our own beach enjoyment when it is not rented. We have set up the villa for maximum fun by including fishing poles, golf clubs, tennis racquets so that other people can enjoy the island as much as we do. We have gotten excellent feedback from our renters and glad to hear that they are truly enjoying this villa as much as we do. The location is the best because it is in a very safe gated private plantation, three minute walk to the beach and a 30 second walk to the pool . The Crowne Resort Plaza is directly across the street and has many amenities right at our fingertips, ie. gym, large indoor pool, aerobic classes, shag dancing lessons, happy hour. Golf and tennis are also right on the plantation. You truly never have to leave the plantation for 24 hour entertainment.

Gail and Jim are both from Long Island, New York. We both retired to fulfill our dream and live on Hilton Head Island in 2005. We enjoyed 3 wonderful years going to the beach, playing golf, playing tennis, bike riding and enjoying everything Hilton Head Island has to offer. After three years of fun we decided to build a house in Jacksonville, Florida to be closer to a larger city and airport and still keep the villa. Whenever it is not rented we are on the island visiting our friends and going to the beach. HHI is a wonderful place and we believe there is no other place on earth like it !! We are very happy that our renters enjoy the villa as much as we do.
