My sister & I stayed in this charming studio for a week to visit her new born grandchild. The studio was larger than what we expected...the high ceilings make the place seem a lot larger & it's a perfect little kitchenette & bathroom. The shower in the bathroom is the best. The apt was immaculate & beautifully furnished. Our host Cassie was wonderful...even though checkin is at 3pm, we had taken the red eye & were in Brooklyn by 9:30am. Cassie assisted us with our luggage & said she'd store it in the apt & even got the apt cleaned before 3pm. The studio has wireless & Cassie has a writeup with all the information & directions for Brooklyn & going to Manhattan. We will definitely use this place again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a delightful second story studio in a prime neighborhood, close to shops and public transportation. It is also wonderfully close to our daughter's home, and we used it when we came to NY to meet our newest grandchild. Cassie was a thoughtful hostess, most considerate and kind, and we felt welcomed and taken care of. The flat has all the amenities and the main room is very large and tastefully decorated, with high ceilings that make it seem very spacious. The kitchen is small but perfectly equipped, and the shower is much better than the one in our house! I would highly recommend this property and its owner.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

A charming studio apartment in the heart of Carrol Gardens. The apartment was cozy, clean, and well appointed. We loved the decor. We managed to have breakfast in every morning and then had multiple options for dinner. Picking up the keys on our arrival was very easy. It was a pleasure to meet our host Cassie, who had left us a list of restaurants and markets in the area. We were just a few blocks from the subway, making it easy to get into Manhattan. We would definitely return to this charming apartment.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

This studio is all that it is advertised to be. It's in a great neighborhood, convenient to subways ,restaurants and the like. The spaces are not big, but with huge windows and high ceilings, it seems more spacious. I would recommend it for a couple. My husband and I will return to Carroll Gardens. We have become fans of Brooklyn!!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

A comfortable, clean, convenient and safe place to stay in Carroll Gardens neighborhood. Highly recommend to travelers who want an alternative to a hotel and a chance to get a real feel for this wonderful area of Brooklyn, The owner has a comprehensive file of brochures and books of places to eat and things to do. It's also, a very easy commute into Manhattan. A special bonus for us is that it is within walking distance of our daughter and her family.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this charming studio in friendly Carroll Gardens. Walking distance to amazing restaurants (Prime Meats, Frankie's Spuntino, PokPok NY, Lucali's, and amazing ice cream at the Farmacy). The subway was minutes away, as well as every other amenity you could want (laundromat, cues, markets, bakeries, wine shops, bars, pharmacies...) There was adequate kitchen space for breakfast and light meals. The only down side was the AC was very anemic, although landlady Cassie was going to attend to it, and there was no toilet paper when we arrived, although Cassie quickly remedied that. We would return there and highly recommend it. There is one flight of stairs to access the apt.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

My parents from Germany stayed in this adorable studio while they were visiting me for 2 weeks. They just loved it! The studio is very cute and cozy, has a warm wooden atmosphere, is very clean and has everything you need, even cooking options, for a very enjoyable stay. My parents had a wonderful experience, concerning the apartment but also the owner Cassie who is the best host imaginable. They would always come back, and I definitely will choose this studio again for everyone visiting. Thanks Cassie!!!!!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful visit in Carroll Gardens. Our rental was clean, cheerful and relaxed. The location is just right for many local activities including shopping, fine and casual dining, exploring and much more. The city is only five or ten mins away, but a world away from the noise and grind of NYC. I wanted to stay forever! The owner was helpful, friendly and easy to deal with. I plan to always use this perfect spot when visiting NYC.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I just returned from a weekend in Brooklyn, New York where we stayed at this property. We felt the owner has given a very accurate description of the property and that the pictures certainly are just as the studio appears. We were very comfortable here and I loved the sunny exposure when the shutters were open. We live in an older home ourselves and appreciated the restoration of this apartment which still allowed for the retention of many of the 1880's details. We were gifted with sunny, relatively warm weather so we were able to take full advantage of the studio's nearness to places that we wanted to explore. We will certainly be returning to this property in the future.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
