My family of 7 stayed at this home for the Thanksgiving Holiday. It is extremely spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable and the linens are nice. They have tons of towels for the house and the pool. I loved the 3 bathrooms as we never had to wait to use the shower. The location of this home is perfect. Nice quiet and safe neighborhood and close to everything. About 5 minutes from Sea World, 30 minutes from Legoland and about 10 to 12 minutes from the Harbor. I recommend you go to the Harbor and tour the Midway Aircraft Carrier Ship. It it awesome and very interesting. My 5 year old twins and 12 year old son loved it. You cannot go wrong with this home. Thank you to Tom and Lisa for everything.
Recommended for:Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We stayed here for several nights and had a fantastic time. We were greeted by one of the owners and shown around the house. The rooms look just like the photos but even roomier. It is an older home but we found it to be very comfortable, spacious, clean and well stocked. I agree with one of the other reviewer's comment about the top notch bedding and plenty of towels. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and provided a most relaxing getaway for our family. We hope to be back again soon!

We recently spent 6 nights at this Point Loma house in the Fleetridge area and had a great experience from start to finish. It was too cool to use the pool, but the hot tub was enjoyable after a day trekking around San Diego. Everything was easy to get to from the property. It was a half mile to Sunset Cliffs where there were benches to watch the sunset. In the other direction it was a half mile walk down the hill to get to a dozen nice restaurants near Shelter Island. It was a short jaunt north to La Jolla or Mission Beach and just as close to the downtown area and even closer to the airport or Hodad's in Ocean Beach The house itself was roomy and very clean. While the house shows its age in some respects, it's clear the owners are willing to make the extra efforts where they can with great beds, top notch bedding and more towels than you'll find in an entire hotel. There is a well maintained patio around the pool where we enjoyed morning mimosas made fresh each day with oranges hanging off the tree in the backyard. There was also a sun porch with a space heater if it got too cool.
Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with teenagers.

We stayed in this wonderful home in June 2010. We loved every minute of it. We were welcomed by the owners and showed around the house. The back yard was great for the kids and we were able to do entertaining of our own instead of relying on others to open their homes. We will definitely be looking to stay again in the future. Thank you for making us feel at home and part of the family...
