Perfect cottage...perfect location!

We just spent four wonderful days at the Corner Cottage. It was a "girls trip" for three of us, and we found it to be wonderfully located to all that we wanted to do and see in wine country. I have been staying in vacation rentals for years, and this one really blew me away with all the little "extras" that Susan has provided....chocolates on the pillows, bottled water, welcome wine, robes and slippers, luxury bath products, etc., etc. There is only one bathroom, but three "Girly girls" had no problem sharing one bath. The cottage provides all the charm of a renovated historic home with all the luxury of a top-notch hotel. And Susan is a lovely host who provides so many wonderful suggestions for restaurants in every price range. We loved being able to walk downtown to shop, sightsee and eat. The cottage is well located to all of the Napa area wineries downtown Napa and many restaurants. We drove all over the area on our own for a few days and then let the Wine Shuttle pick us up (right outside the cottage!) for a day of wine tasting. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. We loved all the extra touches. We enjoyed staying at The Corner Cottage. Robert and you did an outstanding job on remodeling the house. We loved everything about the cottage. The and cozy feeling, upon entering. The beautiful new kitchen, lovely bedrooms and the very comfy bed, the warm and inviting living room and the bathroom were all great. The backyard was lovely and I am sorry we did not get a chance to relax outside on the patio with a glass of wine and watch the grapes grow, due to the rain. We enjoyed all the restaurants on the river, Angele, Celadon, The Fish Story and Coles Chop house. All really excellent and close. There was no need to leave Napa for great dining. We did not have enough time to visit all the wineries. We will certainly recommend your cottage to any one traveling to Napa. Thank you for 5 memorable days.

Lovely home that you look forward to returning to after a day at the wineries. Within walking distance of several great restaurants. An amazing front porch and side patio that invite spending an extra day doing nothing. After staying here, I cannot imagine staying in a hotel again. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Immaculate, welcoming, cozy, beautifully renovated...what more can I say?? My girlfriends and I were so excited about our trip to Napa for the weekend and were so pleasantly surprised at the hospitality and cleanliness of The Corner Cottage. Susan greeted us when we got there with open arms and made sure that we felt comfortable with our surroundings, which we did right away. Staying at The Corner Cottage was so much better than at a hotel or resort, We had privacy, plenty of essentials and even a wonderful bottle of wine for our stay :) I am extremely picky about where I stay when I travel and will look forward to staying at The Corner Cottage when we come back to Napa, hopefully sooner rather than later!! My wife and I just returned from a 3 night in Napa/4 night in Carmel vacation. Our Napa nights were spent in the Corner Cottage. Susan and Robert were great hosts. We were greated and treated as family from our initial email inquiry right through our visit. I wish we would have spent even more time in Napa. The cottage has been beautifully restored by Susan and Robert. The wordwork is wonderful, The kitchen spectacular (even if we didn't cook, haha). The location was perfect, right off of downtown. We were able to walk everywhere from Oxbow to the other side of downtown in the evenings. It is very safe. During the days, we visited the wineries and at night, we walked all around Napa. Uva was a nice place to eat with live Jazz on the night we were there. The Bounty Hunter was a fun place too. Beau wine tours offered up a great way to see the wineries. All in all, a great time, Thanks again Susan and Robert. Hopefully, we will get back to see you again some day soon . We loved meeting you and sharing your corner cottage.

Hi Susan and Robert, Thanks so much for making our stay in Napa so comfortable and enjoyable! We loved the cottage and enjoyed cooking in 1 of the 5 nights of our trip. What a great kitchen, better equipped than my own! The beds were wonderful and comfy, the porch was a great place to hang out after a long day of touring, and the extra amenities in the bathroom made us feel very special. We all had a great time and would enjoy a return trip in the future. Blessings to you both.

Our time here has flown by! It's been so nice to come home to the cottage after an exhausting day of exploring. Susan, all the extra touches have not been missed. Lovely! Our stay at The CornerCottage for our Christmas holiday was like "home away from home." From the welcome Robert and Susan provided to the warm and tasteful decor, to the well supplied kitchen. (all the appropriate wine glasses) not to mention the goodies... your location is wonderful, with a short walk to Oxbow Market,a movie theatre and downtown historic Napa with restaurants, shops and river area.It is an ideal base for vineyard tasting. Hope we can come back soon.
