Our brand-new and spacious Vacation Home between Lancaster and Strasburg is perfect for Families and the 5 bedrooms comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. The home is ideally located in a quiet neighbourhood with views on the Amish countryside!
This home comes fully furnished, with air condition and central heating.
The ground floor is wheelchair accessible and contains 1 Master Bedroom with its own a full Bathroom, Family Room with Cable HD TV, Dining Room, fully equipped Kitchen, Powder Room and a separate Laundry room with washer and dryer. The upper floor contains 4 Bedrooms and 2 full Bathrooms.
GROUND FLOOR HIGHLIGHTS
MASTER BEDROOM & BATH
This master bedroom has a Queen size bed with dual side tables & lamps. It also features a matching full length dresser with mirror and a walk-in closet. A seating area invites to relax.
The master bath features a large shower with a sitting area. The double vanity top will make getting ready that much easier. Handicap accessible.
The centre piece of the ground floor is a modern fully equipped KITCHEN, with a BREAKFAST AREA adjacent to an open space Family room. The floor also features a separate DINING ROOM with an extendable table to seat up to 12 guests, a POWDER ROOM, COAT CLOSET and a separate LAUNDRY ROOM.
KITCHEN HIGHLIGHTS
The fully furnished Kitchen comes with a large refrigerator (ice maker), dishwasher, oven with a 4-stove cooking unit, and a built in microwave. The kitchen also includes a coffee maker, toaster, blender, and a dual sink. The breakfast area features an extendable table with a nice view out on the country side. A few steps will take you out to the patio.
FAMILY ROOM HIGHLIGHTS
The spacious family room contains three large Sofas with a big coffee table. For family entertainment, it also features a 42“ LCD flat panel HDTV (Comcast Cable), DVD/VCR player and CD player with iPod dock.
UPPER FLOOR HIGHLIGHTS
SECOND MASTER BEDROOM & BATH
The upper floor features a second master bedroom with a Queen size bed and dual side tables & lamps. It also features a matching full length dresser with mirror and a walk-in closet. The master bathroom features a spacious stand up shower and double vanity top.
GUEST BEDROOM HIGHLIGHTS
Two guest bedrooms come with each a Queen size bed with side tables & lamps.
One guest bedroom is furnished with three Single beds (including one pullout).
All rooms are equipped with a dresser and walk-in closets.
The upper floor also has a separate full Bathroom with a double vanity top and a full bathtub.
The large FINISHED BASEMENT - which is also a nice play area for children with some toys and games – comes with a separate BEDROOM (double bed). The main area features a Sleeper Sofa (queen), ideally positioned to enjoy the 32" LCD TV with separate DVD & VCR players.
The large BACKYARD has a PATIO area with chairs and table for your enjoyment.

My family, my brother's family and my mother (total of 10) stayed here for a long weekend and found the house to be very clean, comfortable and spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and a bed for everyone. The house has great views and we enjoyed our walks on Hans Herr Drive past the Hans Herr House through beautiful Lancaster County farmland. Nearby grocery store and other retail amenities are very convenient. The owner does restrict food and drinks from the TV sitting area, but the breakfast table area is conveniently adjacent. We would stay here again.

We recently returned after a short weekend at this beautiful vacation home. We have been visiting the Lancaster area for well over ten years and this place is by far the best home we have stayed in. As a matter of fact, this is our second visit to the home. The owners are fantastic and more than accomodating. The home is very clean, well equipped and a very short drive from Strasburg located on a quiet street. I would highly recommend staying at this home and hope to again return in the very near future! Thank you for allowing us the opportunity (again) to stay in your home.

My wife and I brought the kids up to see the Strasburg rail museum and we had a wonderful stay at this conveniently located home. The kitchen is spacious, modern and well-stocked; there is a good washer and dryer, which is great if you have young kids; there is a huge basement and back yard for the kids to play; and enough bedrooms for most groups. Towels and linens are included, and the rate was more than reasonable, and the owner was responsive and pleasant. I highly recommend staying here if you intend to visit the Strasburg area.

The home was a great location for our needs, since we were visiting historical places like Gettysburg. The home was clean, offered a great selection of brochures, suggestions for things to do and the kitchen was perfect for meal preparation. The layout, which made it perfect for socializing. We were glad to have the recommendation to visit the Herr House...it was really interesting and the tour guide was very informative!

This house was great for our party of 13 - 10 adults, 2 toddlers, and an infant. Plenty of space for the whole gang, and all of the extras (laundry detergent, coffee, sugar, toys, etc) was a nice touch. The house is literally minutes from all of the "Amish country" attractions, and we also took some day trips to Philadelphia and Gettysburg. The property was super-clean and wonderfully maintained, and the air conditioning was so welcome on the 90+ degree days we had during our stay! I would wholeheartedly recommend this rental for a large family group looking for plenty of elbow room in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood in a charming part of the world!

The vacation home has worked really well for us. We've done Manhattan, Philly, Ocean Beach, and DC. We've also learned a bunch about the local Amish/Mennonites. Local visits included the Lancaster farmer's market, Hans Herr house, and the Hershey factory. The location is perfect: close enough to tourist attractions yet quiet and comfortable. Best wishes and good travels.
