Our family group ranged in age from 8 months to 71 years. The house was perfect for us--very clean and well-maintained, lots of bedrooms with enough bathrooms to accommodate all of us. There was space to gather as well to get some time alone. Very safe neighborhood. Travel crib was helpful for the youngest baby. A 2-and-a-half-year-old child liked the books, toys, and play space in the basement. Both the owner and the manager responded quickly to inquiries. The security deposit was returned promptly. Would definitely recommend this property.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property. It is conveniently located to Sight & Sound, the Amish heartland and Hershey. The property was clean, well maintained, spacious and very comfortable. The owners thought of everything even providing equipment to make the house wheelchair accessible. Providing the paper products, detergent, soap and coffee was just icing on the cake! I would definitely recommend the property and hopefully can return in the near future. The property manager, Priscilla, is also a delight and very helpful.

My family and I (7 adults and 3 young children) converged on this house for Christmas week. What first struck us was how BIG, new and clean the home was (they use 'green' household cleaners). With so many bedrooms and bathrooms, each adult and was able to have their own personal space. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary appliances and cookware for a week of holiday cooking and baking. The basement was large enough for the children to have space to run around, and it too was stocked with books, toys and puzzles. The location was great too. Far enough away from all the lights, but close enough to Lancaster attractions and outlet malls. There is a large grocery store just a few minutes' drive away. The owners and property manager are very professional and will attend to any need you might have. I highly recommend this place for any large family gathering.

We recently returned after a short weekend at this beautiful vacation home. We have been visiting the Lancaster area for well over ten years and this place is by far the best home we have stayed in. As a matter of fact, this is our second visit to the home. The owners are fantastic and more than accomodating. The home is very clean, well equipped and a very short drive from Strasburg located on a quiet street. I would highly recommend staying at this home and hope to again return in the very near future! Thank you for allowing us the opportunity (again) to stay in your home.

My family, my brother's family and my mother (total of 10) stayed here for a long weekend and found the house to be very clean, comfortable and spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and a bed for everyone. The house has great views and we enjoyed our walks on Hans Herr Drive past the Hans Herr House through beautiful Lancaster County farmland. Nearby grocery store and other retail amenities are very convenient. The owner does restrict food and drinks from the TV sitting area, but the breakfast table area is conveniently adjacent. We would stay here again.

My wife and I brought the kids up to see the Strasburg rail museum and we had a wonderful stay at this conveniently located home. The kitchen is spacious, modern and well-stocked; there is a good washer and dryer, which is great if you have young kids; there is a huge basement and back yard for the kids to play; and enough bedrooms for most groups. Towels and linens are included, and the rate was more than reasonable, and the owner was responsive and pleasant. I highly recommend staying here if you intend to visit the Strasburg area.

The home was a great location for our needs, since we were visiting historical places like Gettysburg. The home was clean, offered a great selection of brochures, suggestions for things to do and the kitchen was perfect for meal preparation. The layout, which made it perfect for socializing. We were glad to have the recommendation to visit the Herr House...it was really interesting and the tour guide was very informative!

This house was great for our party of 13 - 10 adults, 2 toddlers, and an infant. Plenty of space for the whole gang, and all of the extras (laundry detergent, coffee, sugar, toys, etc) was a nice touch. The house is literally minutes from all of the "Amish country" attractions, and we also took some day trips to Philadelphia and Gettysburg. The property was super-clean and wonderfully maintained, and the air conditioning was so welcome on the 90+ degree days we had during our stay! I would wholeheartedly recommend this rental for a large family group looking for plenty of elbow room in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood in a charming part of the world!

The vacation home has worked really well for us. We've done Manhattan, Philly, Ocean Beach, and DC. We've also learned a bunch about the local Amish/Mennonites. Local visits included the Lancaster farmer's market, Hans Herr house, and the Hershey factory. The location is perfect: close enough to tourist attractions yet quiet and comfortable. Best wishes and good travels.

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. I highly recommend this vacation rental. The house is beautiful, spacious, well appointed and immaculately clean. We loved watching our children running around the backyard with the rolling farmland as a gorgeous backdrop. It’s a short 15 minute scenic drive to Dutch Wonderland. Perfect. Thank You for sharing your home.

This was our first time renting a vacation home and the experience was great. The house is better than what the pictures depict and the location was very central to everything - approx 15 mins to Dutch Wonderland and 45 mins to Shady Maple. We traveled with 2 toddlers and they enjoyed the house too! I managed to take the best picture of my son running around in the HUGE backyard. Thanks for a memorable stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at your house! It has been difficult to find places we can stay with my physically-handicapped mother so your home was such a blessing to us. We really appreciated all the little touches you provided--so many things we would typically have needed to bring with us were provided which was a big help. The ramp in the garage was very useful also. When we next travel to the Lancaster County area we will definitely try for a return stay!
Owner response:We are glad you had a good stay and look forward to welcoming back in the future. Thank you.

This wonderful house was God’s Christmas gift so our family could be together for Christmas. Our daughter and family who live locally had just found out that she has cancer and she was recovering from surgery. We decided at the last minute to move our family Christmas from Illinois to PA. Everything about the house was better than we expected. Our daughter could use the first floor master and not worry about steps. We had plenty of room for each of our children and their families. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen that was well stocked with tools, dishes, bakeware, etc. The kids loved the space in the basement for playing and all the toys that were provided. I did move all the games and puzzles out of their reach. I didn’t want to be cleaning up and sorting all the small pieces at the end of our stay. The house was spotless and stocked with most everything we needed: from pillows and linens to cleaning supplies, laundry soap, hand soap and even lotions. The only thing we ran to Kmart to get was shampoo. Kmart is very close. You cannot go wrong in renting this house.
Owner response:We are very glad that you were able to spend a family Christmas at our home. Thank you.

Our family rented this house for a weekend in Lancaster, and a trip to Hershey. The house was very accommodating for 3 families. Everything we needed they had. We loved this house. They provide linens, detergents, and hand soap, and most houses we have rented, you have to bring your own. The house had enough space you didn't feel you were on top of each other. Our kids loved the basement. They had their own space to play, and the owners provided enough toys and games to keep them occupied. The house was very clean, and in great order. The owner and property manager was very helpful, and very quick to answer any questions.
Owner response:Thank you. We are glad you enjoyed the stay in beautiful Lancaster County.

Visited the area to see "The Miracle of Christmas" at Sight and Sound. My inlaws came with us and this was the perfect home. We never expected to find a home with a master downstairs for them and a 2nd master upstairs for us! Our teenage son enjoyed the basement. Clean and stocked with everything you need (though I couldn't find a hairdryer, so you might want to bring one if needed). Priscilla was a dear to help my husband get the tv back on after he lost it playing with the remotes! Lots to do in the area. Convenient location allowed us to pack a lot of fun into 2 short days - Amish country, Hershey and Sight and Sound. Don't hesitate to rent this one if you're looking for a clean, spacious home ideal for large families or multi-family vacations.
Owner response:Thanks for kind feedback. We are sorry about the hairdryer. There should be one in the upstairs Master Bathroom.

The house met our expectations and was clean and spacious. It was great for our stay with friends and our 2 toddlers. I hope to return in the future with the Grandparents. Only slight negatives were the master bed being a bit too soft and the pillows all being the same thickness (too thick for me). Some spares of different thicknesses would be good.
