We (my cousing and I) had a great time! Unfortunetately we were shutout from RMNP due to flooding on the eastern front range. We enjoyed the stay... nice and cozy. Thanks for the good times.

Great relaxing mountain getaway
Great relaxing mountain getaway
My family stayed here over the weekend and the house was perfect! Everything came as described and Stephen (the owner) was very responsive and easy to deal with. We had 5 people and there was plenty of room. The private lake is a short walk and beautiful. Very easy access to grand lake and other nearby activities. Would recommend to anyone!

My family and went in hopes of viewing wildlife and were not let down. The cabin was clean and had everything that we needed. The best part is the location of the cabin. It is just minutes from the Rocky Mt. National Park entrance, as well as the cute town of Grand Lake. On the morning that we checked out a female moose and 2 babies were eating across the street from the cabin, and a fox family lived in the area and was seen nightly. Great cabin for families or a group of friends. Loved it and will return.

Very clean. A small fenced area is perfect if you travel with a small dog. We traveled with another couple so the loft area with its own TV, bathroom and bedroom made it perfect for us to have our own space. We would stay here again. The town of Grand Lake was a great place the lake was beautiful, friendly people, and good places to eat.

My family rented the Chalet for a weekend. It was well stocked and very clean. Really perfectly suited our needs. We are already planning to rent again next winter in the January - February time frame, I would not even consider anything else in the Grand Lake area.

Relaxing...Guest comment entered by owner
We certainly enjoyed our time here at your cabin. Very relaxing, so close to town with such a nice variety of "mountain" things to do. We enjoyed seeing a "baby" or young moose on or near your property. Neighbors said it was seperated from its mommo furing a hail storm a few hours earlier in the day. Hope they found one another! Also enjoyed the beautiful panoramaviews at the waters tower. Your neighbor across the road told us to check it out - they very nice people! The big hit for our grandsos Jack (4) and and Issac (3) - was the "Duck Store" in town, the Adam's Fall hike and sitting on the rocks in the stream, and the boat tour of Grand Lake! Thank you so much for a great time! PS: Grand Lake Lodge ... AMAZING Views and Atmosphere!!!

Great TimeGuest comment entered by owner
Hello! We had a great time staying at your chalet. It was our "home" for 5 days and we loved it! This was the first time in Colorado for the 4 out of 5 people in our group. We all had such an amazing time. We got to go to the Denver Zoo, see the Rockies game. Got a tour of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Stanley hotel in Estes. These were all great activities and we suggest your vistitors check out all the places. We loved the village of Grand Lak, it was beautiful and the people were so nice! If you hike Adam's Fall Trail be aware of bears! On our triip we saw moose, eld, deer, fox, pika, marmot, ground squirrels and a bear! Thanks,

Another Great Time!
Dear Stephen and Robin: We had a great time in Grand Lake and lovely stay in the Deer Chalet. We were greeted by a large bull moose as we were unpacking! Very exciting to see. YOu home was so well stocked that we ate most of our meals here, unusual for us since we love to eat out. Highlights were Adams Fall Trail, The Repertory Theater and ordering take-out from the Sagebrush and eating it on a picnic table overlooking the lake. We really loved strolling on the boardwalk w/ Miss Molley and seeing the beautiful flowers. Thanks for sharing this special place.
