Wow, just grab your surfboard and walk down a few blocks to Surf right next to the San Clemente Pier. We have world known surfers on tour from our local beaches.
Come in June for the Classic Car Show, live entertainment, food booths and lots of fun on Del Mar Avenue. Not to mention the beautiful sunsets when the festival is over. Just walk to the pier for fine dining or a bowl of clam chowder and a drink.
Take the train from the San Clemente pier all the way to Old Town San Diego. See Sea World, Old Town,and the Zoo. Like the horse races?... take the train to Solano Beach in July. For some Outlet store shopping, take the train to Oceanside, then connect to the train to Carlsbad for designer names in outlet mall shopping, fine dining, or the flower festival. If you would like to jet ski, or go to Catalina, or fishing it is just a short drive to beautiful Dana Point Harbor, and the Ocean Institute. In the fall is the Tall Ship Festival in September, and the famous Boat Parade of lights two weekends in December, and fine dining and the parade of lights. Or just relax on the beach, and come back to your cottage for a quiet dinner. Whatever your taste.... you have it all, with a European flair of living. |
