  • We stayed here July 17 - 20, 08 and the place is in the heart of Carmel Valley. It is warm when most other spots in the Monterey Penninsula are drizzled with fog. The owners are wonderful people and their tasting room attendants are very friendly and helpful! Daverlie said we were the first ever to rent it out! The house has purple and green rooms to remind you of its wine roots. It has a cozy 1980's homey feel with a country plastic tablecloth draped over the large dining table. It seemed the person in charge of cleaning the place prior to our arrival didn't show up or something so the place was dusty and with traces of eight, four and two-leggeds. But it was still pleasant and peaceful. Other than that it is exactly as it looks on the pictures. 2-head shower with 4 jets! lots of wine bottles for you to buy and some that are for you to look at. There's a beautiful large entertainment center that was custom made for Paul Anka. Be careful when handling the little white porcelain knobs, as they are crackled and can crumble easily in your hands. ouch. Couldn't get the TV to work, but it's not like we went all the way to Carmel to watch TV anyway! Front patio has a new grill and nice fire pit and some newer patio furniture. The patio area shares its low wall with some business offices next door, so probably not suitable for line-less sunbathing! :) Over all it was a very busy weekend around the peninsula and we were so fortunate and so happy to find a place! Joan, the owner, was very VERY sweet and extremely accommodating!!! She REALLY worked with us and made sure we had a nice stay. If you are a flexible and happy person even when you travel, this is the place for you! :)

  • Chateau Sinnet is a beautiful place nestled in the mountains of Carmel Valley. The rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed the convience of the local shops and restaurants within walking distance. Having a private tour of the winery, seeing the barrels, and visiting the tasting room was definitely a highlight. The owners were exquisite in their hospitality and gracious in every way. For a beautiful get away that is prestine, private, and truly memorable, I highly recommend Chateau Sinnet.

  • I was lucky enough to stay in the Beautiful Chateau. The kitchen was one of the best features. Loved the WINERY FEEL to it! The guest rooms were made up nicely and the shower was awesome. Enjoyed a private tour of the winery and storage area..Great Wines! Thank you to the wine maker and the owner for such a wonderful stay and memory :)

  • Had a great time in a fabulous place. The Chalet and Carmel Valley are beautiful. Walking distance to the Chateau Sinnet tasting room and local shops and restaurants. Highly recommend a stay there.
