Welcome to one of south Kihei nicest Oceanfront condos - our Dolphin Retreat! This unit was completely remodeled in late 2008 with new granite countertops, travertine floors, custom cabinetry, new appliances and contemporary furnishings. It is beautiful.
You'll enjoy staying in this centrally located unit - close to shopping, nightlife and great restaurants.
Enjoy the trade winds, sound of the ocean, brilliant sunrises and sunsets all from your own private lanai.
We own 2 units in this great property so we can help if you have a group, or multiple families, weddings, etc. want to stay together while having your own privacy.
Our other unit is a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath (VRBO 235581). This unit was remodeled in the two years and has high end finishes. Just like home - only better - on Maui!
The place is fully stocked for your stay even including boogie boards, beach chairs and a beach cooler.
Maui's best beaches are 5 minute walk - Charlie Young, Kamaole I, Kamaole II & Kamaole III!
Cove Park is right out front for surfing and kayaking.
There is even a surf school and surfboard and rental shop just around the corner!
Views from your lanai are amazing - unobstructed oceanfront - surfers out front throughout the day - whale watch from the lanai in season! Sunsets like you read about. It is just amazing!
Here are the sleeping accommodations:
Master - new queen bed
Guest = new double bed
Full bedroom loft has double fouton.
There are also 1 fold out twin mattresses and a full size inflatable queen bed. The loft is not recommended for young children.
Sleeps 6 comfortably.
Private parking space right is outside your door.
And, to stay connected - we provide Wireless Internet - of course!
In addition to our stated rate, there is a $80 cleaning fee.
There is also a $400 security deposit that we collect at check in and return after check out inspection - deposit can be left in the form of a check, CCD authorization or cash - whatever works for you.
Remember - Maui No Ka Oi - Maui is the best!

We stayed in this condo for 3 weeks in February of 2013. We are a family of 5 with 3 small children and were assured by the owner that this condo would work well for us. While we enjoyed the location and the complex, the condo was disappointing. It certainly was fine and accommodated us okay, but not in the way we originally thought and we had a few issues while there. Firstly, we arrived on Maui at nearly 10:00 pm on a Saturday. We got to the condo shortly after 11 and while we were checking the guest bedroom to ensure the crib we rented was in fact there and set up, our two children (ages 4 and 6) suddenly appeared over the dresser where there is a large opening from the loft into the guest bedroom. We went to inspect the 'loft bedroom' to find it's a very steep staircase with an old futon mattress placed on the floor. It's not at all private nor is it what I would classify a full bedroom. I suppose you could sleep up there, but unless it was redone a bit and a proper bed was added I wouldn't think anyone would be comfortable up there. We immediately moved a night stand that was up there to block the opening and told our children they were not allowed up. That meant we had to put the two older kids into the guest bedroom and put the crib for our nearly 2 year old in the master. Not as we had planned based on the description. After we dealt with the loft issue we looked around more closely to determine towels on the floor and the sheets strewn about as well as food in the kitchen and realized the unit had not been cleaned. We were not able to get a hold of the owner at this point and it was now nearly midnight. We had to find a hotel room for the night. I could still not reach the owner on the following day and ended up having to clean the entire unit myself after a trip to walmart to buy supplies. We were reimbursed for the hotel room by the owner once he finally got in touch on Monday and he sent the cleaners right away although I had done it myself. Another thing to note is that twice during our stay we had two separate families ring the doorbell and mention that they had rented the same unit and while the owner put them up in his other properties you want what you thought you paid for. We felt lucky we had gotten there first or that likely would have been us. PRO's: The unit is in a great location. Steps to the playground, markets, Foodland, Starbucks. Parking right outside your unit. Great quiet pool. Most importantly you can NOT beat the view!!!!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

This place is not as advertised, It is not a 3rd bedroom loft. It is a futon mattress on the floor, rickety staircase to the loft and two very large holes in the upstairs walls which are unsafe as there is not barrier stopping children from falling through. .Owner response: Aloha, While we fully respect the opinions of our guests, this review is not factual. This unit is described in teh bdy o fthe advertisement as 2 bedrooms plus a 3rd bedrom loft. I have further edited the description to be sure that is very clear. The "holes" he describes are window-type openings in the walls that allow view to the open living and dining area below and airflow. They are not as he described them as "holes." This is certailnly a disappointing review - but we have good feedback and focus on that. Our goal is to always have our guests happy with their stay. Mahalo to all of our guests.

Thank you! Thank you!! or should I just say MAHALO! We had the pleasure of staying in this condo and it was perfect. Nice stone floors and granite countertops and clean and ready fo us when we arrived. Jim's on site representative was great and we very happy with his and their support. The ocean view 9like 50 feet right out front) is amazing. We watched sunsets and surfers and felt like we have landed on our new favorite place on the planet -- Maui (and in Jim's lovely Dolphin Retreat!!!) Mahalo for everything.
