Welcome to fantastic Lake Tahoe. Our home is a comfortable large 4000 square foot creekside lodge style residence on a spacious 1/2 acre lot with a year round creek running through it! You'll enjoy the amenities which include wireless internet, flat screen TVs with cable, DVD players, & a ping-pong table. The home is low elevation which is best in Winter, is very close to town and the beaches (3 minutes) and is very family friendly. It backs up to parkland and has lots of privacy. In the winter it is one of the first streets to be cleared of snow by the city so you are ready to hit the slopes early.
You and your family and friends can enjoy meals on the balconies while looking at the towering pines and listening to the comforting sounds of the rushing creek. You can choose a picnic down by the creek with friends and family, enjoy the solitude with a glass of wine and a loved one, or just sit alone with your thoughts. This environment is guaranteed to restore your soul.
Our house is on 3 levels, has 4 bedrooms and a loft area. The first level bedroom is actually an attached apartment/game room with its own kitchen, fireplace, bathroom and entrance; perfect for a separate family, another couple, or a place for teenagers to help maintain a level of separation. This room is set up like a family room and sleeps 4+. It has its own flat screen TV, DVD, stereo set-up, a ping pong table and hookups for your video game console! The apartment/game room is surrounded by a deck and is steps from the deck. This room is also wheelchair friendly.
Here is the bedroom and bed breakdown;

We have quality furniture throughout the house. There are several TVs including 2 new flat screens, stereos with i-pod connections, and DVD players. There is cable TV and a wireless internet connection. Our electronic equipment does have video game console connections, so feel free to bring your gaming unit! We have a barbeque for year round grilling and a hot tub for lazy summer nights or for decompressing after a long day on the slopes. There is a large mud room as you enter the house off the garage that can accommodate over 12 sets of skis, boots, jackets and snow boards. We also have a laundry room with a washer and dryer. There is a 2 car garage and a huge parking pad that can easily accommodate an RV, a boat, snowmobiles, and several cars.
We often bring our sons, family members and friends to relax and take in all of Lake Tahoe's splendor. We have great memories and we know you will create them, too, in our comfortable home.
At the house we supply a full booklet on restaurants, maps, recommendations, and instructions on many of Lake Tahoe’s offerings. We know you will find this helpful in maximizing your time at our home. We also supply all dishes, silverware, linens, coffee maker, etc.
This is a non smoking home. We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. This is the way we maintain our standard of excellence and comfort for our friends and guests.
Incline has three private beaches for your enjoyment. In the Spring and Summer months you can hike, swim in the lake at it's private beaches(3 minutes), raft on the Truckee River, shop, gamble at the Hyatt (5 minutes), or take in the gaming life in the South Shore Casinos or Downtown Reno (both about 35 minutes away). During the Fall and Winter months you can add all the great winter activities Lake Tahoe has become famous for, including world class ski resorts, all a short driving distance from our home.
A private chef is available upon request. Please call for pricing.
We have supplied lots of photos of our home for your viewing. We know you will love it as much as we do!
We truly believe the North Shore of the lake, and Incline Village in particular, is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Incline Village is preferable to the rest of the lake because of its southern exposure and it's proximity to Reno and the Reno/Tahoe airport (35 minutes) and it's central position to all the great ski and recreation resorts. From our house you're never more than 35 minutes from either Squaw Valley or Heavenly Valley, less than 20 minutes to Northstar and the awesome town of Truckee is about 25 minutes. You are less than 20 minutes to Mt. Rose resort and less than 8 minutes from Incline's own Diamond Peak ski resort!
Mark Twain once describing Lake Tahoe said, "I thought it must be the fairest picture the whole earth affords" and the Indians referred to it as "big sky lake". Lake Tahoe is best known for its beautiful blue and clear water (99% pure), and is surrounded by mountains which rise more than 4,000 feet above the shore. The lake is 22 miles long, 12 miles wide; about one-third lies in Nevada, the rest in California. Elevation at the lake is 6,229 feet.

Spacious Creekside Lodge Sleeps 14+, Close Beach/Town-Wifi
Year Purchased: 2005
Why the Owner Chose Creekside West
We have been coming to Lake Tahoe since we got married in 1990. We have always wanted to buy a 2nd home here and finally decided it was time. We are so glad we purchased a home in Incline Village. It is central to all parts of the lake and is the closest Tahoe community to the Reno airport. It also has the private beaches and golf courses that we and our guests have access to.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The location is so serene yet close to everything. We can hang out at the house all day and read, listen to the sounds of the creek, Bar-b-que or do nothing at all. In just a few minutes we can be at one of the great local restaurants or beaches. In 20 minutes we can be in Northstar or Truckee, 35 minutes to Heavenly or Squaw Valley.

The house was perfect! Minutes away from the beach, stores and restaurants. It is exactly as pictured on their listing. This is our first trip to Lake Tahoe and the owner was kind enough to let us rent their house on labor day weekend. Very helpful and accommodating. The kids were expecting the Wii console to be present, but it was not there when we arrived (as they brought a lot games and extra controllers). But we're not there to play video games anyways. =) We all had a good time riding our bikes around and by the trails. The house is very spacious and peaceful. Our group loved it! Thanks again for making our first trip memorable. We look forward to go back winter season. Will recommend to everybody!
Owner response:Thank you so much for the kind words and it was a pleasure to have you! You are right about the Wii console. After several years of use it recently had to be retired. We have since changed the profile to exclude. We look forward to having you back!

We loved this place. My husband I gave our children and grandchildren a weekend in Tahoe as a Christmas gift. ( It was perfect for our large group 10 adults 2 kids.) The cabin is absolutely beautiful--close to stores, restaurants and the lake. The downstairs apartment was perfect for young adults. We have always had a problem finding a balance between quiet for the older folks and ability for the younger ones to have their noise, music, television, Not this time-- we kept the lovely living room area with fireplace for talking and board games-- downstairs for ping-pong, music, hot tubbing, etc. Kids loved playing in the snow outside the back door. We intend to return in the summer. We also really appreciated that the owners allowed us to stay past the usual check-out time on Super Bowl Sunday so we could watch the game. Highly recommended.
Owner response:Thank you for your kind words. We look forward to having you back!

We loved this house. It was exactly as it is pictured. So much space for our family gathering (11 people) PLUS they allow pets! We finally got to take our 10 year old doggy to the snow! The location was perfect for skiing at Diamond Peak for our beginner boys (5 and 8 years old), up Mt Rose Hwy was a perfect spot for sledding while the others in our party went to empty their pockets at the Hyatt's casino. Though the Wii didn't work (bummer because we brought up a lot of games) and the boys were forbidden to play with the ping pong table because that porch is not insulated, we had a fabulous time being together with plenty of space to also have your own private time. Great price, too! I have bookmarked it for future stays.... Just make sure you read the entire package info that they email so you can remember to bring your own shampoo, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
Owner response:Thanks so much MarieAnn. The Wii seems to have succumbed to 3 years of guests(maybe Xbox now) and that uninsulated enclosed porch area can get cold! We look forward to having you back!

The owner was very helpful and made our first trip to Incline Village really enjoyable. The house was fantastic. It was roomy, clean and a great layout for our group of 12 adults. It allowed us to either relax in the living room with its great view or explore all the wonderful nearby trails and beaches. We had a B-B-Q every night on the large deck while listening to the sounds of the rushing stream. We didn't want to leave! We will be back next summer for sure.

Great place and we were surprised we got so much for the money. The home is super clean and the furniture is newer. Unbelievable forest and creek views as you enter the home. House was multi-level so it accomodated our large group well. Owner was always available by phone to answer some questions we had and made several great suggestions for our long weekend. We will definitely book again!

Our family loved the recent stay at your property! It was spacious, peaceful and very clean. The separate "apartment" was perfect for our older kids. Everything was close by and the owners were very helpful with information about Lake Tahoe. Beach passes were already on reserve when we arrived, all we had to do was pick them up. We were looking for a relaxing family getaway and that's exactly what we got!

The property had no internet connection, something we needed and had been promised on the VRBO advertisement. A phone call to the owner did not help. Kitchen towels had supposedly been supplied, but there was only one. We had to buy more. The kids' room had a broken blind hanging askew. It looked like a slum dwelling. The patio was pretty much unusable, as there were no cushions for outdoor furniture, no tablecloth for the cold metal table. Skimpy supply of bedding, pillows, blankets. No way the bedding supplied would be enough for 17 guests. It was enough for 12, but barely. The den has no door or curtain for privacy. It is pretty much unusable as a bedroom.
Owner response:Problems corrected immediately We did have problems with the Internet and AT&T told us there was no problem with the router. We apologized and directed the guest to use the wifi at Starbucks 3 minutes away. We immediately flew up to the home and corrected the problem and reviewed all issues. The den was never advertised as a private bedroom yet we do have 4 private bedrooms. We routinely direct our house manager to stock 2 dish towels. The curtain cord in the bedroom had been broken by a previous guest and has been replaced. One side of the blinds was askew by only a few inches. We have never advertised tablecloths for our outside furniture. We love our home and all previous guests have shared our sentiments. Please see the other reviews for a balanced opinions of our great home. All furniture is newer and we continue to improve upon the property. We are pleased when people enjoy our home as much as we do yet always look for ways to make our guests stay a wonderful and memorable experience. We have many return guests and this is our highest compliment.

We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful home. We were a group of 15 family members up for our son's wedding. We came from CA, OR, and WA, and we were so happy to have a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere to gather in. Your home made for some beautiful pictures of our family gathering, memories to hold forever. We greatly appreciate you sharing your home with us. Thank you. Charles and Vivian Van Doren

This year was the 4th annual trip for my large group of friends to Tahoe- and was one of the best. The house had enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably, hang out in a common space and all eat together in the dining room for dinner. The location also worked very well for our daytime skiing. Beautiful house, great location. Would definitely stay here again! :)
