Start a new tradition of a lifetime of vacation memories. This magnificent, new, 2500 square foot, three story home, is on the corner of Scenic Gulf Drive and just steps from the beach access that leads to the world’s most beautiful beaches!

This family friendly home features a third floor with 2 Master Suites, each with a private bathroom. Keep your smaller children close by in the separate bunk area. Escape to serenity in your third floor private sitting room equipped with a mini-wine cellar, or enjoy the breeze and sounds of the ocean on your gulf-view balcony.

The kids and teens can enjoy a "Kid's Recreation Floor" with a private bedroom with a queen bed, a full-size sleeper sofa, 42" LCD HD TV, movie library, video games, foosball, and a wide variety of board games. This walk-in level has a kitchenette with a full size fridge, sink, microwave and dining area, as well as a bathroom with a stand-up shower. These amenities could also be considered "handicapped accessible."

The main level on the second floor offers that great central meeting area, conducive for planning out tomorrow's adventures. Enjoy a home-cooked seafood feast or an afternoon snack in the fully equipped kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops with eat-at bar. Watch a family movie on the 42" HD with surround sound TV or tune the entire house, pool and courtyard to enjoy your own music, direct from your iPod or MP3 player. This level also includes a private queen-size bedroom, perfect for the in-laws, and a bathroom with stand-up shower as well as full-size sleeper sofa.

Enjoy your day of shopping, adventuring, site-seeing or beach-going on the "24 mile long ribbon of sparkling, snow-white beaches" of Destin, as voted the #1 "Beach Town/Resort" in the 2008 Southern Living "Readers' Choice Awards," January 2008 edition. Then relax in the lush landscaping of the private courtyard, reminisce over the day's events, take a dip, or just sit and listen to the home’s namesake “Neptune”, a wall-mounted fountain, as he emits his spray into the private heated lagoon pool. The pool is enclosed, separate from the courtyard, and the first floor doors alarm when opened.

Neptune’s Nook is located directly on the corner of Scenic Gulf Drive and Miami Street.   • Our family stayed at Neptune's Nook August 1-8,2009. It has the perfect location, just a few steps to the beach. There were 9 of us on this trip, 5 parents and 4 youth ages 14 - 24. The layout of the house was perfect for our group. Everything that we needed was in the house and the small pool was great for cooling off after baking on the beach. We have come to Destin every year for the last 10 years and always stay in a house and have had anywhere from 6 to 17 people. We will definately stay in this one again. Even if groups had younger children that may go out unattended, the house had an alarm to alert the lower door being opened. Great place to stay. Thanks to the Brown's for renting it to us.   • We had a great family vacation at Neptunes Nook. This was our favorite rental in the Destin area so far. We really liked the layout of the house and loved the location right across the street from the beach. We also enjoyed the private pool and patio area.

  • We absolutely loved Neptune's Nook. We had 5 adults and 8 kids and we fit just fine. The foosball table was a real hit. It really is just a few steps away from the beach. We were there for one of the busiest weeks of the year and the beach was really not that crowded. The pool is perfect for washing off after a long day at the beach. We will most definitely be going back. I feel like we've finally found our spot in Destin that we can return to year after year.

  • We absolutely loved your beach house! It is VERY spacious and had everything our families needed for a perfect vacation. The house is beautifully decorated, and the men loved the flat screen TV's and surround sound! The location is perfect with the private beach access directly across the street. How great is that when hauling beach chairs, toy, umbrellas, etc. The kids had such a great time playing in the pool. We will definitely recommend your home to friends and family. And we hope to be back next year as well. Thanks Dale for being so easy to work with. Our vacation was just perfect!

  • We love your house!!! My fiance and I have stayed at many different condos and hotels and nothing compares to Neptune's Nook in Destin. The beach access is right across the street and in just a few minutes you're at the ocean. The best part is when the beach get's too hot, it's just as quick to get back to the private pool, which is heated (we stayed one week in January and really enjoyed the pool at night) The house has everything you need. It's supplied with all the necessities of home...it even has a crock-pot! Perfect for making BBQ. (most places don't have that) Another nice convience is the inhouse intercom system. No yelling down from floor to floor. But my favorite part (aside from the pool) is the complete home entertainment system. The HDTV is AWESOME! We really loved having the indoor/outdoor speakers and hooking up our ipods. And a tip for others...it's hard to find a good station on vacation sometimes. Because the house has wi-fi, we were able to hook up our laptop and create our own station on pandora and listen to it for hours while out at the pool. We really enjoyed that!! We love the house and area so much that we've booked it for our Wedding reception and honeymoon in September of 2009. We can't wait to go back!! Thanks for letting us stay in your new home.

  • I was truly impressed with this beautiful and spacious home. Every attention to detail for both comfort and beauty. We travel often and enjoy cooking for ourselves. This home provided so many extras it inspired me to renovate and update my own kitchen. The pool and BBQ area was also as functional as it was lovely. We were so pleased that the property is so new and updated for adults, children and even teens. We did not have to even rent movies as they have state of the art sound systems and plasma tvs in every room and a library of books and movies for all age groups. The decor was so relaxing, not to mention the view of the beach from nearly every room. I was so surprised at how many people we had with us and yet could still feel we each had a space to be alone and private. Noise was never an issue. (we had over 6teenagers(thier friends were over for meals) a 3 year old, 6 adults and everyone found something to do within the house and we had to push ourselves to actually get out and about) I look forward to our next stay at Neptune's Nook. I highly recommend this property. AND THANKS FOR GREAT SHEETS!!!( i hate cheap sheets lol)

  • We had a MARVELOUS time at Neptune's Nook!!! The accommodations are wonderful, perfect for our two families (or more if younger children). Home was very well appointed-we had everything we needed. Beach access very convenient, and private pool was so nice to have at the end of the day. Both teens and parents enjoyed sitting in the courtyard people-watching long into the evening! Owners were available, and very helpful and easy to work with. We'd recommend this home to anyone wanting a homey, but glamourous Destin home away from home!!
