We stayed at Neptune's Nook this past summer with my husband's sister and her family. We LOVED the home. This summer trip is a tradition that we have with them and we have stayed in a different home each summer. We hope to be able to return to Neptune's Nook again for sure! It was not only clean and like brand new...it was convenient to the beach and everything else that we did. The layout of the home is great. The kids enjoyed the pool and the scenic sitting areas for playing games and visiting. When we left, my oldest daughter left behind her stuffed animal "Gigi puppy" and the owners Adele and Dale, were kind enough to arrange shipping Gigi to us. We were so very thankful for a fantastic vacation and the for the considerate and thoughful owners helping us rescue our daughter's Gigi! Book your stay here...you will be extremely pleased!

We had a great time at the beach and this property was wonderful. It was equipped with everything we needed and it was just a quick stroll to the beach. We made it a daily event biking on the paths and always ended up at Pompano Joes. The split level house was nice becasue after a busy day at the beach, our group could get some down time until we were ready for our next adventure.

My family and I were there for the 4th. The house is wonderful. Dale & his family were so helpful and courteous. This is in such a great location. Right in the middle of all the great things Destin is known for, plus the Beach access is absolutely the best there is in town - other than those homes right on the Beach themselves. But I'm not sure I would trade for one right on the Beach. The amenities of this house, including the swimming pool, were perfect. Highly recommended. Craig

This was a great house, everything was as stated in the description of the home by the owner. It was even better than we anticipated. This was our fifth trip to Destin. Would definitely recommend this house. Location to beach was great.

All of the comments posted are accurate. Great location, great property, GREAT owners, and great features to the house. Our family had a really nice vacation at this property and with everything close by, we rode our bikes everywhere- stores, dinner. Looking forward to a return visit!

My family and I had a great time staying at Neptune's Nook. The house had plenty of space for everyone to spread out, but there was also plenty of room for our entire group to congregate together. You could not beat the location. The beach was right across the street, and everything that we needed was close by. The owners were great to work with, and they should be proud of their beautiful beach home! We look forward to staying again if the opportunity presents itself.

What an outstanding location and property. This house has every thing you could need for a great stay in Destin. The house is decorated to the hilt and even has an awesome home sound system that really adds to the whole beach experience. The owners are very easy to work with and very informative. I highly recommend this property. Frangista Beach area is great for kids and adults. You can't go wrong with Neptune's Nook.

Our family stayed at Neptune's Nook August 1-8,2009. It has the perfect location, just a few steps to the beach. There were 9 of us on this trip, 5 parents and 4 youth ages 14 - 24. The layout of the house was perfect for our group. Everything that we needed was in the house and the small pool was great for cooling off after baking on the beach. We have come to Destin every year for the last 10 years and always stay in a house and have had anywhere from 6 to 17 people. We will definately stay in this one again. Even if groups had younger children that may go out unattended, the house had an alarm to alert the lower door being opened. Great place to stay. Thanks to the Brown's for renting it to us. We had a great family vacation at Neptunes Nook. This was our favorite rental in the Destin area so far. We really liked the layout of the house and loved the location right across the street from the beach. We also enjoyed the private pool and patio area.

Great vacation! Great house! The house was set up perfectly for our large extended family.This is a very clean and comfortable house that has everything one would need for a stress free beach vacation.Everyone loved the pool after a day at the beach. We absolutely loved Neptune's Nook. We had 5 adults and 8 kids and we fit just fine. The foosball table was a real hit. It really is just a few steps away from the beach. We were there for one of the busiest weeks of the year and the beach was really not that crowded. The pool is perfect for washing off after a long day at the beach. We will most definitely be going back. I feel like we've finally found our spot in Destin that we can return to year after year.

We absolutely loved your beach house! It is VERY spacious and had everything our families needed for a perfect vacation. The house is beautifully decorated, and the men loved the flat screen TV's and surround sound! The location is perfect with the private beach access directly across the street. How great is that when hauling beach chairs, toy, umbrellas, etc. The kids had such a great time playing in the pool. We will definitely recommend your home to friends and family. We love your house!!! My fiance and I have stayed at many different condos and hotels and nothing compares to Neptune's Nook in Destin. The beach access is right across the street and in just a few minutes you're at the ocean. The best part is when the beach get's too hot, it's just as quick to get back to the private pool, which is heated (we stayed one week in January and really enjoyed the pool at night) The house has everything you need. It's supplied with all the necessities of home...it even has a crock-pot! Perfect for making BBQ. (most places don't have that) Another nice convience is the inhouse intercom system. No yelling down from floor to floor. But my favorite part (aside from the pool) is the complete home entertainment system. The HDTV is AWESOME! We really loved having the indoor/outdoor speakers and hooking up our ipods. And a tip for others...it's hard to find a good station on vacation sometimes. Because the house has wi-fi, we were able to hook up our laptop and create our own station on pandora and listen to it for hours while out at the pool. We really enjoyed that!! We love the house and area so much that we've booked it for our Wedding reception and honeymoon in September of 2009. We can't wait to go back!! Thanks for letting us stay in your new home.

We loved your beach home. It was VERY spacious and beautifully decorated. Your pictures do not say enough about the size and location of your home. We loved just having to walk out the door and across the street to the private beach access. So convenient when hauling our beach toys, chairs, etc. The husbands in our group loved the TV's and surround sound...they felt so at home! We had a group of 13 and felt that we had more then enough room. The bedrooms were big and beds VERY comfortable. It is not often you can say that about beds other then your own. The owners were so easy to deal with and very attentive to our needs. Thank you so much and we hope to be back again next year!

We stayed May 30-Jun 6, 2009. Neptune's Nook is FABULOUS! We had 11 in our party, including 6 kids. There was plenty of room for everyone on the 3 levels. And it has every amenity you could imagine--down to the beach and pool toys! We wanted for nothing while we were there. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and very clean. The owners are extremely easy to work with, friendly, and accomodating. We loved the pool and the VERY close access to the beach. We'll definitely be coming back in the future. I was truly impressed with this beautiful and spacious home. Every attention to detail for both comfort and beauty. We travel often and enjoy cooking for ourselves. This home provided so many extras it inspired me to renovate and update my own kitchen. The pool and BBQ area was also as functional as it was lovely. We were so pleased that the property is so new and updated for adults, children and even teens. We did not have to even rent movies as they have state of the art sound systems and plasma tvs in every room and a library of books and movies for all age groups. The decor was so relaxing, not to mention the view of the beach from nearly every room. I was so surprised at how many people we had with us and yet could still feel we each had a space to be alone and private. Noise was never an issue. (we had over 6teenagers(thier friends were over for meals) a 3 year old, 6 adults and everyone found something to do within the house and we had to push ourselves to actually get out and about) I look forward to our next stay at Neptune's Nook. I highly recommend this property. AND THANKS FOR GREAT SHEETS!!!( i hate cheap sheets lol)

Spent a weekend with the girls and thoroughly enjoyed Neptunes Nook. The layout is perfect for lots of people and with 3 sitting areas (one on each floor) there is a place for everyone. Beach access was literally across the street. Bedrooms spacious and the bunkbed nook is cute and comfortable. The heated pool with water spouting from Neptunes fountain and grill made afternoons relaxing. You feel as if you are away from everything yet you are close by to grocery store, seafood market and fabulous restaurants. For the kids (and kid in all of us) Krispy Kreme is close by. I would highly recommend this house as a fabulous rental experience. Owners incredibly easy to work with and the house is stocked with everything one needs including a wine cooler and two refrigerators.

We had a MARVELOUS time at Neptune's Nook!!! The accommodations are wonderful, perfect for our two families (or more if younger children). Home was very well appointed-we had everything we needed. Beach access very convenient, and private pool was so nice to have at the end of the day. Both teens and parents enjoyed sitting in the courtyard people-watching long into the evening! Owners were available, and very helpful and easy to work with. We'd recommend this home to anyone wanting a homey, but glamourous Destin home away from home!!
