Our experience in this house was phenomenal. The kitchen was sparking and luxurious, the bedrooms comfy and brimming with charm, and soaking in the hot-tub on the patio, facing the snow-covered trees, after a long day of hiking and snow-shoeing pristine snow country was out of this world. While not being coddled by the beauty of nature, there are two enormous flat screens and a veritable library of DVDs for those who want to enjoy the great indoors. Even the bathrooms are decked with thought-provoking poetry. Great location to boot. Mountain Village is a great place to be!

I highly recommend this wonderful mountain home. Large enough for many people but cozy with the comforts of home. Fully-stocked kitchen with all the appliances and cookware you can ask for. Beautiful mountain and forest views from every room in the house. Ample deck space, large outdoor hot tub. Beautifully maintained. Convenient location for skiing (less than 5 minutes to Gondola where you can park for $5/day and ride for free to the slopes, downtown Mountain Village, and Telluride).

What an incredible home! This house offers all the comforts of home and more. All rooms are beautifully appointed (two large flat screen TV's as well) and the kitchen has top of the line amenities (le creuset to boot!) The layout of the home is perfect for families or large groups. The unnattached home offers privacy and breathtaking mountain views! You can see the skiway from the hot tub! Additionally, the owners are an absolute pleasure. You can't go wrong renting here.

This home is absolutely perfect! We hosted a family reunion there with seven adults and found the home to be beautifully furnished and the owner had included everything you could think of to ensure that our stay was enjoyable -- even a welcome basket when we arrived! We purchased food at the local grocery when we arrived so that we could prepare some of our meals in the incredible kitchen. I would definitelyl recommend this property -- the owner was very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions that we had. We would love to come back for a future visit!

This house is absolutely spectacular, with breathtaking views and luxurious accommodations. At the same time, it has such idyllic charm - it's a cabin in the woods that offers incredible peace and comfort to any traveler. When I arrived, the interior was spotless, and the kitchen was more than fully stocked. Sitting in the hot tub on the desk with the view of the mountains was indescribable. The owner was easy to contact and exceedingly helpful. Without hesitation, I would recommend this home to family and friends!!!

A fantastic experience! Great décor, fully stocked kitchen with every appliance imaginable, amazing views from all three stories of the home, beautiful gas fireplace in main room and bedrooms provided great atmosphere to compliment the scenery outside. You can hear the river below from the hot tub couched in the mountainside views. The rooms are very comfortable, nice beds and thoughtfully furnished. Wifi internet, flat screen and computer were all convenient. The large grill allowed for some amazing dinners on the back porch overlooking the mountain backdrop. Great location in Mountain Village with a free short gondola ride to Telluride close by. Owners are wonderful people and very friendly. I look forward to coming back in the near future and have already recommended it to my friends.

My recent trip to this cabin was fantastic. I went up with a couple friends and was blown away by the beautiful scenery, and the cabin met and surpassed expectations. It is super comfortable, everything inside and out is beautiful, the kitchen is simply amazing, I could go on and on... The cabin is not far from the gondola, which is a beautiful and fun ride into Telluride. I highly recommend this place!

This is a beautiful home! We stayed here for a week with our young children and loved every minute. The entire setup was very conducive to getting some real peace & quiet. We had all the luxuries of home...plus some. The surrounding views are incredible! The house is very accessible to the gondola, hiking trails, shopping, market...we couldn't have asked for more. We would definitely stay again.

This house was absolutely wonderful. My friends and I stayed here and it was perfect. The house is furnished in every way one would want. We literally brought some food to cook, our bathing suits and that's it. Everything else was provided for. It was like moving into a house that had been professionally decorated and furnished. I fell in love with everything from the hot tub to the view of the mountain from my private porch (off one of the bedrooms) to the adorable red kitchen appliances. Not only was the house a pleasure to live in for a few days, but there was even useful information on what to do and see in Telluride. It was like staying in a bed and breakfast but with the privacy and amenities of a house. Like the title says, absolutely amazing. I will definitely try to come back one day.

Our family of 5 (three boys ages 22, 18, and 17) spent a long Memorial Day weekend at this beautiful home. Fabulous views from every window, quiet and convenient to Telluride. The house was perfect for us - everyone had their own room! The hot tub, FULLY equipped kitchen, comfy furniture made for the perfect landing spot after a day of hiking. The gondola system from Mountain Village to Telluride is easy and very enjoyable - you really don't need a car at all. I have used VRBO successfully before and this property will always stand out as one of the best. The owners were extremely communicative and easy to work with. We hope to rent this property again!

Terrific Alpine Vacation Home

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, perfectly-maintained property. The home is very comfortable. We especially appreciated the spa after a day of skiing at Telluride, a truly exceptional ski resort. The kitchen is fully-equipped, making meals at "home" a truly viable option. A convenient shuttle service will take guests to the slopes or the village, so a car is optional. The owners are friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this property.

Absolutely amazing! There is nothing better than being in the mountains, and this house was the perfect spot. This was our first trip to Telluride/Mountain Village; we will probably never go skiing anywhere else. The house had everything we needed to make it truly feel like a home away from home. Unbelievable. From the moment we walked in the house we were awestruck: beautiful wooden floors, cozy leather furniture, huge kitchen, enormous mounted flat screen, right next to the gas fireplace, bedrooms on all three floors, and breathtaking views visible from the the seemingly countless windows and decks. Oh, and there's a hot tub. Unreal. A magical vacation, thanks to this beautiful house settled within the ultimate idilic mountain town.

We stayed in this beautiful home over Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a real holiday feast. And is there any better way to chop vegetables than while looking at the spectacular mountain vista just in the backyard? It was very easy to access the ski slopes for the first day of the season via the Telluride Gondolla. Coming home we relaxed in the hot tub while gazing up at the stars and again, of course, the mountains, now glowing in the moonlight. The house was comfortable and luxurious in every way. It is definitely a holiday weekend I will never forget!! I would absolutely recommend staying in this home to all of my friends.

Stayed at this beautiful home in October 2009. My experience couldn't have been better. Of course there were the great views, the comfortable beds, the big screen TV, the cozy hot tub, and the computer w/ wireless internet. But what surprised me is that the house really felt like home. What a gorgeous house! My family and I were so happy with this vacation home -- it was perfect for us with the kids because it is spacious, with a great area on the second floor for the kids to stretch and enjoy their mountain time. The gondola to the center of town is close by, and all amenities are very convenient. Of course, the views are stunning and you can enjoy them from the hot tub! This was all especially important for me because my in-laws from Mexico were with us -- they were very impressed and comfortable and we had a great time. Lots of room for everyone.

We had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful, we spent a wonderful week at the villa enjoying the weather, amenities, golf and more.The house is in terrific condition, everything was comfortable, and the house staff were wonderful…very helpful, polite and accommodating. My Husband and I have stayed in this wonderful house on multiple occasions. The house is absolutely beautiful with so much privacy. There are wonderful views from any floor in the house. We have stayed in a couple of the rooms, and each of the beds have been comfortable to sleep in. We enjoyed being able to open up the french doors on the main level bedroom in the morning and just enjoy the fresh mountain air. There are also some great places to walk or hike near the house. The town is not far either. We rode down to the gondola and took the gondola into town. The gondola ride into town is a wonderful experince and provides incredible views as well.

This house was a perfect vacation home to get away for the weekend. Amazing view over the large deck. The house is fabulously decorated and very inviting. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equiped with high-end applicances to enjoy a family meal. The best part was the amazing hot tub on the deck overlooking the solitude of the moutains. I recently stayed with relatives (all girls) total of thirteen for a reunion. We all had a fabulous time cooking, sitting in the jacuzi hot tub, watch wildlife out the living room window. The mountain village & lift ride into town of Telluride was breathtaking. Great place to stay for quick get away & refresh your mind. I would totally recommend staying in this beautiful cabin for some time of relaxation when you plan your next get away with family or girlfriends. I look forward to my next time off to hike the mountains in Telluride and return to a home away from home.

My fiance and I had a fabulous time in Telluride during the long Memorial weekend. The house is perfect for a getaway. We enjoyed sitting on the deck gazing at the beautiful scenery and listening to the birds and wind in the tall pine and aspen trees, as well as cooking big fancy meals and hanging out in the kitchen on the main floor. The house is perfect for large families to spend quality time together and still have their space! We took advantage of the "Dial-A-Ride" service that picked us up at the house, drove us to the Gondola, and picked us back up when we were ready and drove us back home. This is perfect for people who are unfamiliar with Telluride, don't want to drive, and/or have had a couple drinks too many. Safe and stress free!!! We also took advantage of the hottub on the lower deck. It would be so romantic during the winter! Hopefully we will have a chance to visit your house in Telluride again! My fiance and I highly recommend that people interested in beautiful scenery and relaxing should take some time and enjoy life in Telluride Colorado in the comforts of this beautiful home!

Stayed in Dec 2007 and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thanks Jeff! Great location nestled within the slopes with beautiful mountain views. Smart floorplan with a modern entertainment centre, offers privacy in addition to a large common area to be together. My family was raised on mountain vacations and this is one of my favorites. Doesn't hurt that it is in Telluride: beautiful location, friendly people, great skiing.
