My 3 long time friends from Houston and I stayed in this condo. It was amazing. It is corner unit and the view is spectacular. Being on the second floor means you have a view of the beach and water from anywhere in the front room. Every morning we watched the dolphins swimming by from the balcony as we drank our coffee. The condo was spacious and very clean. The owner was very nice, even calling while we were there to see if everything was ok. My husband and I will be returning to this unit very soon for a relaxing weekend. The unit is equipped with a washer and dryer which is very handy. We cooked outdoors on the grills provided. I would highly recommend a trip to this condo soon!

Our family just got back from a week's stay in this unit. We absolutely loved it! The owner was very friendly when we called to book and even called after our stay to ask how our trip was. The unit was super clean, big enough to accommodate our family of 6, was nicely decorated, and had an awesome view. We enjoyed watching fireworks from the balcony a couple of nights as we were there for the week of the 4th. Being on the second floor corner unit the view of the water was amazing....so amazing that we were able to see dolphins play nearly every morning as we sat on the balcony and enjoyed breakfast! The pool was nice and we loved the fact that we could cook supper in the unit and keep an eye on the kids from the balcony as they swam in the pool below. As parents with a couple of young kids, we always worry about our kids being on a balcony, but we didn't worry here. The railing was tall enough and the slats were close enough together that we had no fear of our little ones playing out there. We also have a couple of teenagers. The parasail and jet ski set up was just a few steps down the beach. Our teenagers really enjoyed doing that. The unit had all the luxuries of home which was great since we were able to come home with clean laundry and no stress of unpacking when vacation was over and work resumed the next day:/. We have talked with our extended family and are planning to book this unit and the owners 6th floor unit next year!!!

This was the second time my wife and kids have stayed in this unit and my first. The unit is situated perfectly...second floor corner (great breeze!) overlooking the pool and beach. The condo is nicely furnished and easily accommodates our family of five. The owner (Mike) was great to deal with and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. I highly recommend renting this unit. (just don't choose the dates of our NEXT stay!!!) Perdido Skye is centrally located between Gulf Shores and Pensacola so there are tons of things to do in all directions. Awesome place.

We have been going to Perdido Key off and on for 15 years and always stayed at condos nearby. We were totally blown away by this immaculate condo and loved the whole set-up of Perdido Skye. Enjoyed the corner unit with the extra views it offers and the second floor was so convenient with the stairs rather than waiting for the elevator. This owner is so pleasant and easy to work with and really takes pride in the unit's upkeep. We liked the small on-site exercise room (that was always spotless) and the lack of crowding on the beautiful beach...can't wait to return!

This is the perfect setting for a relaxing beach get-away. The description and pictures on this site don't do it justice. The condo was immaculate and furnished with everything we needed. Just pack your clothes, beach towels and GO! The condo is so close to the beach, there is no need to pack an ice-chest, etc. We were on the second floor, so we just went back and forth as we needed/wanted something. Perdido Skye was a very quiet environment and we felt like we had the beach to ourselves. We plan to go back next year and rent this same condo or another that the owner has. LOVE loved it!

My husband and I wanted a last-minute get-away on the beach and this condo was perfect! The location is spectacular, the facilities are well-kept and very comfortable and it was convenient to many great restaurants and shops too! We actually stayed in the 6th floor unit (identical layout four floors up) of this same owner. We contacted him last minute, he was gracious and accommodating and we put the whole thing together in just a matter of hours just a few days before we actually arrived in Perdido Key! Everything was very much as we hoped it would be! Another plus-the other vacationers in the condo building were lovely people-older couples, young families and a few in between. No problem at all with noise or mess - an experience we have had in the past. The view was spectacular - saw dolphins every day. The beach was pristine and nearly empty. The people out there were friendly. The water was clean. They still had 2-3 people daily combing the beaches for any remaining oil clumps and they were so efficient we never even saw any ourselves! Also, in our haste to leave, my husband left his garment bag on the bed! Owner happened to be arriving at the condo from out of state just after us and graciously (and quickly) sent it via fed ex to us and it arrived today. What a blessing! We would rent again from this owner and in this condo without any reservation at all!

Took three teenage girls down for Spring Break 2011 and had an excellent time. Being on 2nd floor meant we got in extra walking up and down the stairs which I liked a lot. Clean as could be, great layout so that everyone had their own "space" to jell out. Very nice experience, beaches excellent, kept up well, and owner is super nice.

If the owner could replace the existing king bedding that would be so appreciated! Would rent today if the bedding was upgraded. Just a super area for some quiet time! The area and condo were fabulous! The area was so layed back. Just a much needed escape from the city, and work. Every one was so friendly! IN 2009 the beaches were so clean, and raked every morning.
