One of the most secluded spots on Deep Creek Lake. Deep Creek Hideaway is located one house from the end of Shoreline Drive on Thousand Acres, there is no traffic. Enjoy 100 ft of lakefront on approximately an acre of land; a vacant wooded 100’ lot to the East and a vacant wooded 200’ lot to the West.
A wonderful lakefront retreat for your family to enjoy. The home was re-decorated and updated in 2007. It has high ceilings, updated kitchen, Plasma TV, two Jacuzzi-type tubs, lots of windows and light, great deck.
Newly updated kitchen has granite counter-tops and is open to the great room and dining area, letting you be part of the party while cooking. The kitchen is fully stocked with quality glasses, dishes and cooking equipment. The large deck is set-up for out-door dining and parties. There is a Weber grill for cooking.
Stay connected to the world with satellite TV and high-speed wireless internet access. Equipped with a cell-phone antenna and signal-booster if you need to use your cell-phone.
A private dock for your boat on one of the widest channels on the lake. The dock is also a great place to catch the sun-set. Later in the evening, enjoy the fire-pit for marshmallows or smores.
Four bedrooms, including two with king-size beds, one with a queen, and one with bunks and a loft. The master suite is at the West end of the house and includes a large bath with shower and whirl-pool tub. An even larger bath is at the East end of the house and has another shower and whirl-pool tub.

House is well equipped and clean. Nice deck in front of house. Trees allow plenty of shade in back of house to lake. Lake had more traffic then thought since on main pass and is very choppy. There was some odor from pets that some of my family could not get used to. Should not be a problem for dog or cat lovers. The house was well kept, though. Owner was responsive to any and all questions. Thanks for letting us share your house.
Owner response:The comment about pet odor is a mystery to me. We do not allow rentors to bring pets. The rentor told me the odor was gone by Sunday, the day before they left.

Everything about the house was exactly as advertised. The house is clean and very well-maintained. The owner is responsive to communication and even called on our arrival date to make sure everything was ok. We're already making plans for another trip next summer. The only con (depending on your point of view) is that it takes awhile (maybe 20 min) to get to the ski area, where most of the restaurants/attractions are located. If you're looking for a quiet retreat, though, this is the place for you.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

I rented this home over a year ago & I can honestly say that I'm very upset with myself that I did not leave a review. R. Cline was great to work with! Communication was flawless. Any question I had did not go unanswered and emails were responded to in a prompt manner. He is truly professional and it shows that this rental home is not a "business" for him. This is a beautiful home and the owners could not be more gracious or accommodating. My group consisted of 4 working professionals and we enjoyed the amenities of our rental home. The home was in pristine condition with every spice, piece of cookware, and dish ware imaginable. We watched movies, read books, played games, enjoyed the fireplace, breakfast and dinners on the deck, and walks to the waterfront. It was a relaxing vacation and we will definately rent again at all times of year as the opportunities arise. Thank you R. Cline & family for letting us enjoy your home at the lake.
