I just want to thank you for such a wonderful time. Our Families had such a great time and the kids had smiles all weekend on their faces. Your home/property is absolutely AMAZING. We were able to pull the pontoon boat up to the slip and anchored our 28ft boat just in front of the boat dock. The location of the home, the size of back yard, the kayaks (which everyone enjoyed) you name it, your home was PERFECT! And your neighbors friendly as can be as well. We will for sure be back and have already recommended your property to others.

Conroe Lakefront with Big Water Views!

What a great waterfront location in Lake Conroe. We spent most of our time on the covered deck enjoying the views of the Lake Conroe’s open waters and beach island. The house is spotlessly clean and well appointed with just about everything you could need. There was lots of open space and sitting areas. You could tell that this house was furnished with vacationing needs in mind. Foosball, Air Hockey, Kayaks, Fishing Poles, Board Games, Puzzles, DVD's, WiFi were all supplied and kept everyone entertained. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the eagles nest lake retreat.

I thought the home owners would have a hard time competing with the great VRBO properties we rented in Hawaii, but they certainly delivered. The house is everything the other reviewers have said, and more. I could have stayed on the boat dock for our entire trip. My children and grandchildren had a wonderful weekend also--a very kid friendly place.

The Eagles Nest Retreat

What a wonderful place to spend the weekend with your girlfriends! Very peaceful and quiet. The house was exactly as described and has plenty of room. Nicely laid out so bedrooms are away from the main part of the house. Great views of the lake and it's activities. Highly recommend. Vicki was great to work with and very accomodating. We look forward to going back!

Highly recommend Eagle's Nest! Beautiful house right on the lake - excellent view & wonderful property. The house is suited for a family or a large group - very well kept & spacious. Will definitely comeback.

We enjoyed this lake house immensely. I have stayed at several lake houses and was pleasantly surprised at how modern, well furnished and comfortable this place was. It has ample parking in the front if you're pulling a boat, a huge yard in back for playing games with the kids, a garage that has been converted to a game room with a foozball and air hockey table, nice sized rooms with lots of comfortable beds, a large family meeting area and a large covered boat dock. It felt like home down to the granite counter tops, comfortable decor and nice fixtures. Also I really appreciated that both the house and the grounds were in excellent shape with fresh paint and maintained landscaping. We brought a boat and caught lots of crappie and several nice catfish off the dock. Nice place to bring the kids and relax. Would highly recommend and will go again.

Family, friends and extended family celebrated Christmas at the Eagles Nest. We gathered around the fire pit and watched the beautiful sunsets over the lake, enjoyed the many games and puzzles provided by Vicki and family and cooked and ate to our heart's content in the lovely, accommodating kitchen and dining area. We are hoping we can find availability during the warm weather, invite someone up with a boat, fish and swim. You will love it!

We stayed in the lake house this summer for two months and found it to be wonderful. It was fully stocked with everything we could possibility think of and was so warm and inviting. We felt like we were at home. The home is ideally located on the lake in a lovely cove with beautiful sunsets. We grilled and dined outside just about every evening for dinner while the kids kayaked, swam and skied from the dock. I don't think we missed a sunset. Gorgeous!! The home owners went out of their way to accommodate us with whatever we needed to make our stay more pleasant and were a pleasure to work with. The home is beautifully decorated and accommodates family groups well. It is also located in a quiet neighborhood great for morning walks. The owners have stocked the home with so many extras, games, movies, fishing poles, kayaks, ects that you will not be at a loss of what to do. They have literally thought of everything for you so all you need to do is bring your swim suit and a change of clothes and plan on enjoying a wonderful time. It is evident from the moment you open the door that their intent of this lake home is for your enjoyment and relaxation. We recommend this home highly and look forward to returning again. It is a little piece of heaven on earth.

We stayed at this lake house to celebrate our 30th birthdays. This house was perfect, just what we were looking for in order to have a fun and relaxing weekend with our most intimate friends. It was in excellent condition and we felt like we were at home! Vicki and her husband are so sweet! They let us use whatever was in the house and even left some goodies for us. Thanks so much, the watermelon was delicious! We loved sitting out by the water, playing all the games (the garage is a game room),and grilling outside in the backyard all weekend. It was just the fun and relaxing weekend we were hoping for! We will definitely be coming back again!

We just returned from our Labor Day family gathering at the most wonderful lake house. The warm and inviting home had everything we needed. The public boat ramp was near the house and the private dock and boat slip were just steps out the back door. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking. At the end of the day we'd cook out on the grill and enjoy the most amazing lake views. We planning on making this an annual event! Thanks for sharing your lovely home.

My family - all 13 of us - eight adults and five kids spent three days and three nights at this lovely home. It was very comfortable; there's plenty of space to spread out and relax for everyone. We enjoyed sitting out on the dock - the hammock is my favorite! The kitchen is roomy and has everything you need. I hope we can all go back next year!

Absolutely fabulous place to enjoy your family, friends and time. The house is very comfortable and the decor is right out of a magazine! The amenities leave nothing to be desired; everything you need is there. The view is gorgeous and we just couldn't get enough--our time was too short! We really look forward to visiting again.

This is truly a warm & very soothing vacation home to stay in. My visit came during the Christmas Holiday. It accommodated all family members very comfortably, shopping/resturants close by. Boating on the water was excellent! I especially liked having hot coffee on the boat dock and watching the ducks swim up to us in the early moring hours. It truly was a very relaxing & peaceful environment & was well worth our stay. My recommendations were rated for it being a 5 Star Vacation Home. It was definitely worth the visit.

This lake house is the best! This is our fourth experience using VRBO on Lake Conroe. The accomodations are superb! The Masterbedroom has spa features such as, lavender linen spray, extra fluffy pillows, extra fluffy mattress cover, oversized chair with ottomon, "Resort" creams - everything to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. The Guest bedrooms are spacious, cutely decorated and feel "warm and inviting". Kitchen is fully loaded! Forgot or need something unexpected? Don't worry, chances are the kitchen has it! Toys!! For every age! From Toddlers to grown men - toy boxes for Toddlers, air hockey table was a huge success, floatation devices, kayaks and last but not least - "The Hammock" Overlooking the lake on the boat deck - heavenly bliss!! I rate this lake house a "5" due to it's warm and inviting atmosphere along with all the accomodating extras.

Excellent location in a quiet cove with good access to the lake. Your dock provides great fishing, a relaxing atmosphere with a great view. We spent a week at your house and it is equipped more than most. (Fishing gear, kayaks; videos, games, etc.) We will be back.

This vacation spot is ideal if you enjoy visiting lakes. Access to fishing and boating is ideal and the view is excellent. We had a grand time with lots to do and accomodations were top notch. We sure plan to come back.

This has become our favorite close to home retreat for all seasons. Extremely roomy and beautifully furnished. The lakeview is wonderful, sunrise and sunset. We could not be more pleased!
