The ultimate romantic retreat, this charming stone beach house, has been meticulously updated and renovated with modern interiors, fixtures, appliances and furnishings, but still retains a sense of old-time island simplicity and seclusion. The house occupies over 2 acres of wooded grounds and 150 feet of beautiful beachfront along the Long Bay Beach, which stretches for 3 miles, with only a scattering of exclusive villas and homes along its shores.
The modernized interior has a living room with vaulted wooden ceilings, a contemporary kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, counter bar, with built-in wine cooler, ceiling fans, and glass sliding doors opening on to the L-shaped covered deck, facing beach and ocean. A large screened porch with Bermuda shutters has a dining area seating eight, with an entry also to the beachfront deck.
The covered deck is equipped with a table for dining, barbeque, and chaise lounges that face the beach and ocean - a perfect spot for morning coffee, evening cocktails and sea-gazing.
On the main level of the house, you will find the Master bedroom and en-suite bathroom with whirlpool tub and separate shower stall, king-size bed, ceiling fan and air conditioning. The second bedroom has a half-bathroom, queen bed, ceiling fan and air conditioning.
The lower level of the house consists of two one bedroom suites with private entrances. Each suite is equipped with two queen beds, en-suite bathroom, ceiling fan and air conditioning. These suites look out onto the gardens through double French patio doors.
