  My family and I had the most amazing time at this Long Bay beach house. The pictures do not do it justice and cannot portray the peace and tranquility we experienced. From the property managers, Wendy and Val, to the grounds keeper, service was 5 star. Awesome sunrises, walks on the beach, beautiful water, seclusion, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. As testiment to our stay, we immediately booked another week for the next year. This was decided while at the house when we realized we don't need to look any further. This is a perfect vacation spot.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

  Our family experienced a wonderful week at this house. It was everything advertised. Open and pleasant house - not a fancy villa but, not a shack either - just a lovely low key beach house with tons of privacy and a very private beach. We had a couple of minor problems such as a leaky shower nozzle and within a couple of hours of reporting it, the maintenance company replaced it and it worked perfectly. A few window screens did not work and the side porch door didn't have a screen. The bedding sheets were very rough to the skin especially after a sun tan during the day. The Property Manager, Val Nicotra, was always there for us whenever I called her. To our surprise, she even left us with a mobile phone with about a $13 balance for local calls which came in handy for calling for other unrelated island services. Val - you were great; thanks so much! I highly recommend this house.

  When we drove up the driveway and onto the property, exited the vehicles, everyone, all 8 of us, jointly said "WOW, WHAT A VIEW". It was audible sign of instant relaxation just from the view!! This was a family vacation for 10 days. Our family consists of 75 yr. old grandparents, 50ish adults and twenty something children. The house was perfect for us all. The 2 single guys shared one downstairs suite and the married twentysomethings the other downstairs suite. Each suite has it's own bathroom. Upstairs in the main house area, there is a full bath and half bath. Grandparents were in the small (it is small bedroom with double bed) and the master has a king with shared ensuite. We had the a/c on in the bedrooms, but the common spaces were cooled by ceiling fans and the tropical breezes. We ate outside everynight, including the evenings it rained a bit. Storms blow by quickly and the covered porch is great for sitting outside during a rainstorm or to hide from the sun. Access to the beach is awesome. It is right outside the door. My son and son-in-law caught conch in the waist high water 30 feet from the beach and we enjoyed our fresh conch ceviche! During the entire 10 days, we actually saw not one other person walking on the beach! There are neighbors, but they weren't around until the last evening we were there.The closest house had an big engagement party with entertainment and we enjoyed the music too. The management co, Wendy is just GREAT!! I can't say enough about her. We received a cell phone to use on the island while we were there and could reach her at anytime. She was very helpful with suggestions for trips, excursions and shopping. Also, the car rental co. Grace Bay Rental was the best I've ever dealt with anywhere! Everyone was able to relax and enjoy themselves. There is plenty of space to be alone when you want to be alone and together when it suits you. The covered and screened porch was great for cards and games in the evening and we didn't have to worry about bugs! There are swim toys and swim noodles at the house. We bought some noodles at the IGA but floats are very expensive. Bring your own from home if you can. We brought our own snorkling equipment and used it everyday. You need water shoes or some sort of footwear for the water right off the beach. There are hidden shells and rocks. We also brough a suitcase of food with us as groceries are very costly. Truly a Wonderful place for fun & sun for everyone!

  The pictures for this house on the internet do not do it justice. It is not a luxury rental but was very nice. The view was incredible. This was a great place for our family and we had the best time. I never go back to the same island just because there are so many islands to go to BUT I am considering taking my family back to this place. Great place also for young children. ABSOLUTELY LOVELY!!!!!

  House is secluded and right on the beach (private). Furnished with all amenities and met our expectations (as described). Owner was always available to answer our questions (she even left us a cell phone for local calls). You will need to rent a car as it is a 20 min. drive from airport and other services. Perfect for a group of friends/family looking for a nice beach getaway. We went there for kitesurfing and got approx 4 days of kiting during our week stay. You will need a large kite and board though as wind is not very strong. A good point is that we could launch right in front of the house. Bring your booties as there is a lot of conchs and rocks at the bottom. Very nice place overall, would go back.

  Every year our family goes to a different island and this place was one of the best. The house was a great balance of simple comfort and ideal location. Quiet and yet close to lots of places for aliitle night life. Setting was ideal for relaxing and also for kite boarding. Really beautiful blue water steps from the deck! Definitely recommend renting your own car and be prepared for an airport crowd especially when leaving even though everyone seems to make their flight. All the local people we meet were really nice and we always felt safe no matter where we went and no matter what time. The house manager, Wendy, was a fantastic help and had tons of great local information to share. Our family will make it back to Turks and Caicos and we would love to stay at this house again!

  This beach is house is great! It has the feel of an "old" Carribean house and is a prefect get away for relaxing. The beach is fantastic and is prefect for kite boarding and is gentle for my little kids. T and C is a great island overall with very good restaurants all over the place. There is a full service grocery store 5 minutes from the house also. Turks and Caicos feels like a very safe island. Not too far away from this house (you'll need a car) is some of the best beach snorkeling I've seen and I've been to a lot of islands. My family will 100% for sure go back and stay here.

  My wife and I along with our baby and toddler had a great time....very relaxing. This house is very child and adult friendly, clean and comfortable with everything you need to have a very relaxing and fun week. We were there for one week and managed to take the kids to the beach every day since it's only steps from the front porch. My wife and I made sure to roast some marshmallows almost every night under the moonlit fire pit overlooking the ocean. Thanks again Terri, Mike and Gregory for a great time at your place.   What an amazing place. For wind lovers, this place has everything you could dream of. A superb location (kitesurfing is possible right form the balcony) and a well equipped house. The owners are really helpful for first timers on the island. I've been renting the house 2 times now and I really think this place is a must, for people looking for an amazing beach experience. If you hate resorts and crowded place, this place is for you. My best beach vacation ever. Marie, Sherbrooke (CAN)

  Thank you Terri and Gregory! This was our second trip to TCI and we rented a home 5 yrs ago. We had a wonderful week and our stay was far too short at Long Bay Beach House. The photos do not do the home justice! There were 7 adults in our family. My husband, my brother and his wife and along with my son ( 25yrs) and sIttime forwith our son ( 25 yrs,) daughter and new son-in-law ( 29yrs) were able to RELAX and spend quality, fun time together. The home was comfortable and cooled constantly with the sea breezes so a/c was not necessary on the main floor. It was great to have so many towels and other amenities in the home! The view was tops from the living rm/kitchen and deck! The only reason why we did not rate this home "excellent" was because we found the 2 bedrooms downstairs to be very poorly ventilated. It smelled of cigarette smoke/musty all the time unless you had the a/c on 24/7. You cannot keep the French doors/or the 1 window in each bedroom opened because there are NO SCREENS so bugs come in. We would recommend putting SCREENS INTO THE WINDOWs and Doors ( not sure you can with Fr. Doors). But putting in screens into the 1 window in each of these bedrms would really help! Haviing to use a/c the entire week in these back downstairs bedrooms was a big negative for us!Kinowing that fantastic ocean breezes were blowing upstairs while we had to use the a/c downstairs back bedrooms was upsetting and most disappointing! Please note that while everything in the upstairs/main floor was fantastic.....had all the amenities-tons of closets, hangers, drawers, light, breezes. This was NOT the case for the 2 bedrooms downstairs. They were dark , poorly ventilated and there were NO DRAWERS or NO ANY PLACE TO HANG ANYTHING. Putting in a portable/foldable clothes hanger with hangers or even putting up 4 large clothes hooks along the bare walls in the bedroom or huge bathrooms would really help. These are the only issues we had with the home and our stay. The positives outweighed these 'negatives" and for the price for th is rental, you cannot do any better on TCI! The restaurants were great - tons of choices- Hemingways, Da Conch Shack, Sharkbite, Magnolia and The Green Bean ( Terri 's suggestion) were all great! The snorkeling at Coral Gardens was fun and just being able to relax at the LONG BAY BEACH HOUSE and being able to swim right in front of the house was ideal! Terri was the most helpful and responsive! She's THE BEST!
