From the HIGH SPEED INTERNET to the hot tub on the South facing sun drenched deck to the boot and glove dryers, Rancho Relaxo will have you ready to hit the hiking trails or slopes relaxed and well rested.
Rancho Relaxo has everything you need for a perfect vacation. A clean, fully equipped modern kitchen, custom Aspen log furniture in each room, an open great room including a large bar and counter area that will enable you to be in the kitchen while visiting with friends or family (no one stuck in the kitchen alone). Huge windows provide plenty of sun for the great room with views of the Rocky Mountains from all angles. The side deck looks into the Blue River Valley while the main deck faces the National Forest and the Continental Divide.
Rancho Relaxo is privately owned, built, and managed by the owners...you will feel at home rather than in a rental property. We take great pride and care of the house and it is our one and only property to manage.

Pine and Aspen tress surround the cabin located ten minutes from Breckenridge with quick access to the ski areas of Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper, Arapaho Basin, Vail. and Beaver Creek. Rancho Relaxo is also close to world-class golfing, shopping, back-country trails, rafting/kayaking, and fly fishing.
The driveway to the house can be difficult after a snow. A four-wheel drive vehicle or chains are recommended.

Rancho Relaxo is conveniently located to provide guests with access to Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper, Arapaho Basin, Vail and Beaver Creek. It is also the perfect place from which to leave on a day trip horseback riding, hiking, etc. in the incredible Rocky Mountains or to luxuriate on the deck with a good book, a game of horseshoes or to just chill.

Rancho Relaxo was constructed in 1996 by J.T. Mueller and a crew from Breckenridge. In order to build this log house J.T. lived on the property in a trailer with his dog, Kamala surviving two Breckenridge winters. He has owned the cabin since then. Recently the family joined him in ownership. Rancho Relaxo is their singly owned rental property in which they take great pride. Together with a highly qualified team, the cabin is maintained to bring renters a clean and well cared for place to relax and enjoy their holiday.

I stayed at Rancho Relaxo with friends for a ski trip, and it was great. The bedrooms are comfy, the main sitting room is perfect for hanging out after skiing, and the hot tub is perfect! The kitchen is well stocked for all cooking needs, and the entrance through the garage is warm and dry to shrug out of coats and keep ski boots and gloves warm and dry overnight. I would definitely recommend this house!

Rancho Relaxo is a beautiful property that is very accomodating in many ways. I loved the way the house is set up, you can easily walk around without disturbing other sleepers. The fireplace and hot tub were adored, especially after a day of snowboarding. The house is decorated very cozy, it really feels like a home. The extra amenities (snow sleds, snow shoes, glove/boot dryers) made the stay better than I could have imagined. My bulldog came along and layed at the top of the stairs the entire stay (so he could see everyone in the living area and what they were doing). The one thing that I will mention is that my guests that stayed with me did mention that the pillows were a little uncomfortable in the beds. However, it was a very enjoyable experience from start to finish! I will be planning my next trip to the Rancho Relaxo very soon!

Accomodations were extremely comfortable. Full kitchen ammenities made preparing a full Thanksgiving course a delight. The cabin is a short distance from town and easy access to all mountain activities. The night sky is superb for hot tubbing and wine on the deck and BBQ. Owners provided a wide collection of books, snow toys and snow shoes.....just pack clothes and toothbrush, they thought of it all. Will come back again!

We stayed here the first week of August 2011. The house is only about 10 minutes outside of the village of Breckenridge. We vacationed with my sister's family - a total of 4 adults and 3 teenagers. The house was a perfect size for us. The house is adorable, clean, cozy, and has beautiful views. The hot tub and gas grill were great too! We tried to build a couple of fires in the firepit, but unfortunately the rain showers in the afternoons and evenings didn't cooperate most nights. The kitchen is very well stocked with most everything you need. And the City Market (about 15 minutes away) allowed us to get everything else we needed. The only thing that needs improvement is some of the mattresses and pillows. Some are now pretty well worn and didn't offer a great nights sleep. Other than that, the house was perfect! We had a great time!

We stayed at Rancho Relaxo during the first week in August, and it was absolutely beautiful! The weather was lovely and cool, which was a great change from the IL heat and humidity. The cabin is exactly as pictured, the furniture is comfortable, the kitchen is easy to cook in, and the hot tub. . . well, the hot tub is just fantastic! We brought our two dogs with us, and they loved Rancho Relaxo as well. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us - we hope to return again someday!
