We had a great time at the house. The open floor plan was ideal for conversation and visiting for our group. The comfortable living space was perfect for relaxing in the morning or watching TV (we were there for the Super Bowl). An added benefit was being able to bring our dog along with us for the weekend...she enjoyed running around in the snow. With the great price and reasonable distance from town (~10 minute drive) we would definitely stay again!

Great Ski House

I stayed at Rancho Relaxo with friends for a ski trip, and it was great. The bedrooms are comfy, the main sitting room is perfect for hanging out after skiing, and the hot tub is perfect! The kitchen is well stocked for all cooking needs, and the entrance through the garage is warm and dry to shrug out of coats and keep ski boots and gloves warm and dry overnight. I would definitely recommend this house!

Rancho Relaxo

Rancho Relaxo is a beautiful property that is very accomodating in many ways. I loved the way the house is set up, you can easily walk around without disturbing other sleepers. The fireplace and hot tub were adored, especially after a day of snowboarding. The house is decorated very cozy, it really feels like a home. The extra amenities (snow sleds, snow shoes, glove/boot dryers) made the stay better than I could have imagined. My bulldog came along and layed at the top of the stairs the entire stay (so he could see everyone in the living area and what they were doing). The one thing that I will mention is that my guests that stayed with me did mention that the pillows were a little uncomfortable in the beds. However, it was a very enjoyable experience from start to finish! I will be planning my next trip to the Rancho Relaxo very soon!

Rancho Relaxo

Accomodations were extremely comfortable. Full kitchen ammenities made preparing a full Thanksgiving course a delight. The cabin is a short distance from town and easy access to all mountain activities. The night sky is superb for hot tubbing and wine on the deck and BBQ. Owners provided a wide collection of books, snow toys and snow shoes.....just pack clothes and toothbrush, they thought of it all. Will come back again!

Had a wonderful stay at Rancho Relaxo!

We stayed here the first week of August 2011. The house is only about 10 minutes outside of the village of Breckenridge. We vacationed with my sister's family - a total of 4 adults and 3 teenagers. The house was a perfect size for us. The house is adorable, clean, cozy, and has beautiful views. The hot tub and gas grill were great too! We tried to build a couple of fires in the firepit, but unfortunately the rain showers in the afternoons and evenings didn't cooperate most nights. The kitchen is very well stocked with most everything you need. And the City Market (about 15 minutes away) allowed us to get everything else we needed. The only thing that needs improvement is some of the mattresses and pillows. Some are now pretty well worn and didn't offer a great nights sleep. Other than that, the house was perfect! We had a great time!

Our vacation V(e)RBO-ing had all these and more: sight-seeing, unpacking, admiring, walking, hiking, snowballing, shopping, laughing, dining, wine-tasting, card playing, teasing, cooking, critter-watching, trail climbing, rain-drop-dodging, picnic-ing, sunning, hot-tubbing, talking, listening, giggling, problem-solving, bottle-opening, reading, gondola riding, family photo-ing, Sunday Marketing, sister-slipper-shopping, tea and coffee brewing, crayon coloring, bunk-bed climbing, egg scrambling, packing, and return-trip-planning... ! We had a great time and your place was perfect for us all.

We stayed at Rancho Relaxo during the first week in August, and it was absolutely beautiful! The weather was lovely and cool, which was a great change from the IL heat and humidity. The cabin is exactly as pictured, the furniture is comfortable, the kitchen is easy to cook in, and the hot tub. . . well, the hot tub is just fantastic! We brought our two dogs with us, and they loved Rancho Relaxo as well. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us - we hope to return again someday!
