There are shower facilities and grills to charcoal your dinner if you want to watch the sun set over the Gulf.
Riverwood boasts a 4 2 star golf course with an impressive learning center, 4 lighted Haru-Tru tennis courts, a junior Olympic pool, hot tub, professional croquet courts, a complete fitness center, a pro shop and grill, lessons in dancing, painting, many activities and much more. A full-time activity coordinator oversees and organizes a wide variety of activities for those who are interested in participating.
This inviting home has never been lived in and you can be the first to enjoy its restful atmosphere. It is fully furnished, including linens and all kitchen utensils and appliances. A brand new large HD flat screen TV is housed in a lovely entertainment center. The house has three bedrooms, with a king bed in the master bedroom and queen beds in the other two bedrooms. It is large enough that you could invite friends to join you in your Florida retreat. In addition, the den has double doors and could be used as a place for a guest to sleep.
This home has 2 full baths, with a soaking tub in the master bathroom, as well as a glassed enclosed shower. All bedrooms are carpeted and have large closets, with a walk-in closet in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a door opening onto the lanai. The air conditioning is more than adequate, but ceiling fans are also in place in all the rooms and on the lanai. The villa has a very open feeling. The kitchen is open to living room, which has sliding glass doors opening to the caged lanai. You can stand at your kitchen sink and enjoy the view out to the lake. Or serve your meals on the lanai and sit and enjoy the restful lake view.
This villa has numerous upgrades that include: granite counters in the kitchen, white plantation shutters throughout and diagonally-tiled floors. It has all new Whirlpool appliances, including the washer and dryer in the utility room. You can enter the house from the double car garage through the utility room, as well as the front door. The home has a full security system and the external care of the house and landscaping is provided.
We are animal lovers and a small, well-behaved pet would be more than welcome.
We have lived in our large home in Riverwood for 10 years, and LOVE IT! We purchased this villa 4 years ago with the thought that by the time it was built we might want to down-size. It was a few years before it was completed and we aren’t ready yet. We have thoroughly enjoyed the Port Charlotte area. It is only an hour from the Sarasota and Fort Myers airports and 1 ½ hours from the Tampa airport. There is much to see and do in the area.
We are located between Sarasota and Naples, which provides access to cultural events and upscale dining and shopping. And what is of great interest to many—this area is a boater’s paradise, with world class salt water and fresh water fishing. You may have heard of Siesta Key, Sanibel Island and Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island—which is often visited by the President and his family. They are all a very short and easy drive from here. Visiting grandchildren love to go to Disneyworld (2 ½ hours) and Busch Gardens (1 hour).
We would love to rent to you and trust you will enjoy this area as much as we do. Some people here have chosen to rent year round, with a long-term contract, to be free from ownership concerns. We are very flexible, and would consider this type of arrangement, as well as leasing to buy.
