A WONDEFUL VACATION CABIN!

We enjoyed our stay emensly! We found everything very clean, comfy, organized, and a wonderful place to relax. Our three children (14, 12, 10 yrs. old) couldn't get enough of the stream and hot tub. The stream was our families favorite thing to do at the cabin. We were amazed that the stream was so cold even in the middle of the summer. We also enjoyed sleeping to the sound of the rushing stream. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed a few selections from the book and dvd library. We also enjoyed the use of the grill. Tanya was very helpful and even checked in with us to be sure that everything was great. The Royal Gorge was aprox. a 45 minute drive. (A very beautiful drive along the Arkansas River.) We even saw a family of mountain goats along the way. We made wonderful memories in a wonderful setting. We hope to return in the near future!

My husband & I really enjoyed this cabin. The running creek and pond were very relaxing. Although we only live 1 hour from the location of this cabin, it was a great place to get away for a couple of nights. The cabin was decorated beautifully! Tanya was a wonderful host.

My Boyfriend and I stayed four night at this cozy cabin, in the fall of 2010!! We just loved it. Has everything you need for a relaxing trip, any season of the year!! I can't wait to take my girls with us next time!! They would love it, too!

We rented from three different VRBO rentals on our recent trip to Colorado, and this house was far and away our favorite. I loved it from the moment we arrived. It is tucked away in a very secluded wooded area, and upon entering the house, I was impressed immediately with how welcoming and "homey" it felt. The house was very, very clean, the sheets and towels were pristine, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Tanya was also great at having everything organized and described. I felt like I knew where everything was. The house is also really cute and inviting inside. The decor, family photos, etc. made us feel like we were staying at a friend's house rather than in a rental. All three of my kids loved the place, especially the creek, the hot tub, and the really cute kid's room. Finally, Tanya was very nice and helpful at every stage during our rental. I really thought her hospitality was refreshing, and we are definitely planning on renting this house again!!

We had such a wonderful trip and by using your home as our base, we were able to see the most beautiful parts of Colorado! We met the most interesting people, relaxed in the hot tub, shopped, relaxed in the hot tub, hiked, relaxed in the hot tub, went fly fishing, relaxed in the hot tub and just loved every part of your home. We thank you for sharing your part of heaven and will forever cherish our memories of the Colorado Rockies 2010!

My family had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was perfect. There was alot of snow but still very beautiful. The cabin had everthing that you needed to feel like you were at home. We enjoyed the hot tub and lit a fire every night. My girls had a blast outside hiking around we can't wait to come back in the summer so we can enjoy more of the out doors . You are tucked away in the mountains but still close enough to Salida to eat and find other things to do. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would deffinately recommend this property. Enjoy!!

We enjoyed your beautiful cabin tremendously! My two daughters (7 & 12) loved playing by the river, feeding the fish, going on hikes and soaking in the hot tub! You have everything in your cabin to make for a relaxing gettaway. It was clean, organized and comfortable. We can't wait to get back again! Thank you!

The cabin is very well equipped with a great kitchen and very clean. The setting is tranquil and relaxing by the stream. Salida is a great town with wonderful art galleries and close to several hot springs. We liked Cottonwood Hot Springs the best.

Our family enjoyed a quiet and peaceful weekend at Kriss cabin. Our kids ages 11 and 15 enjoyed the stream and loved the hot tub. We enjoyed the sound of the stream from all parts of the cabin. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need to make a great meal. Very clean and comfortable for a weekend get away.

This was a great weekend away,the cabin was great with beautiful views and lots of snow to enjoy. We enjoyed the cabin it was very relaxing and the hot tub was the best.I fell in love with this place and would love to spend another weekend there. Snowmo biling was close and it was so much fun,it was great to come back to the cabin and relaxe in the hot tub. This was a great time my husband and I will never forget.(already looking at the calender to plan another great time)

We had a great time staying at the cabin. The cool breeze, stream, and hot tub made it very relaxing. It was also very well stocked with everything we needed and we appreciated how clean the cabin is. We have already talked about going back for a ski getaway this winter.

We had the most peaceful, relaxing six nights in this wonderful house at the end of the road in the woods. Without having to get into our car we were able to take long hikes in the Sangre de Cristo mountains, pick wild raspberries, and listen to the ever-running stream. It is is also within driving distance of many interesting hiking and climbing routes: one day we climbed Mt. Yale. We hope to return and stay even longer.

We had the most wonderful weekend at this cabin with our three little boys. Everything that it says on the website is true...and more! This quaint retreat is so tastefully decorated, clean, stocked with amenities, organized and perfect for kids, families or couples. We will definitely be bringing our children back to this little slice of heaven outside of Salida. Thank you!

I have stayed at this fabulous cabin all different seasons over the years, and enjoy myself every time! This home is the perfect vacation location, as it is cozy, comfortable, clean, open, airy, quiet and peaceful. The sound of the stream that runs next to the house will have you wondering if it is raining outside - it couldn't be more soothing. A fully functional cabin with all the conveniences and amenities of home that allows for any type of activities you are seeking. I plan on coming back again and again.

My brother and I had a blast. Your cabin is truly a gem.We spent most of our time by the stream. My only advice is that you need to highlight the stream that runs by your cabin. Most people from Texas are looking for running water near a cabin. Thanks so much for opening your cabin. We plan to use it many more times.
