The cottage is in a nice quiet residential area, but close enough to walk to many bars and restaurants (5-45 minutes, depending on where you want to go) and Long Bay Beach. The owner also rents bicycles so you can be very mobile. We did not see a need for an automobile, and after a morning of diving, rode the bicyles all the way up to the ferry dock and around the Leeward area, then to the grocery store, and finally to a bar for a drink before heading back in the evening. The cottage is very clean with lots of towels and the deck was one of our favorite places to hang out. There was always a light breeze which seemed to keep any bugs away. There is a handy rinsing station outside for your water sports gear and clotheslines to hang it on. The owner made sure we had everything we needed and was very helpful both before and during our visit in answering our questions. On the way to the cottage, we had our driver stop at the IGA for about 10 minutes while we picked up some fresh produce. He charged us $30 for the fare, including the stop. They had some HUGE avocados that lasted us for days! We didn't go out to eat a lot, but our dive operator dropped us off at the Thai Orchid one day, and we found the food to be a good value for the price. We were able to walk back to the cottage from there in less than half an hour. We had a lovely visit and I would definitely stay here again the next time in Provo!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

My girlfriend and I had a great time at Terri and Mike's little cottage. Everything was very clean, we had a lot of privacy and Terri and Mike were very helpful with just the right advises for things to do or see around Provo. When we will go back to Turks and Caicos, this will be the place we will rent again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Terri and Mike (and, of course, Frank!) were the ones who made my trip truly wonderful. I have done quite a bit of traveling, and I would say that these three were some of the most friendly, generous, and accommodating people I have ever met. Terri had maps of the area waiting for me when I arrived. The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet residential area, yet walking distance to Grace Bay beach and restaurants. If you are at all interested in trying kiteboarding, this is THE PLACE to stay! Terri and Mike offer private and group lessons that are sure to get you hooked on this awesome sport. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Provo!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We really liked this little cottage. It was very clean. Plenty of towels were provided along with beach towels. For the money it was a a great bargin. My husband and I do not like to stay in resorts. We like to be among the locals. The owners of this property live in the house in the front. Our refrigerater quit working and the owners went right out and bought a new one! They were very helpful to us. They told us of places to eat and things to do. They knew we wanted to take a ferri over to North Caicos and Middle and the next morning there was a map for North and Middle on our windshield. You definately need a car. The swimming pool was right there. We were the only ones to use it and we did enjoy it. Very pretty and the greenery was beautiful!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2003
About the owner: I have been a resident in the Turks and Caicos Islands since 2000. I had the cottage built in 2007 upon request of many travelers looking for the 'non resort' type of accomodation. I enjoy sharing my local knowledge of the islands with my guests.
Why the Owner Chose Grace Bay:
The usual island story.. I came here in the year 2000 thinking I was going to stay a few years but never left. I fell in love with the Turks and Caicos Islands and now consider it my home.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
The unique location of this property is it is in a quiet residential neighborhood but just on the edge of all the tourist attractions. Having your morning coffee on the deck you will be surrounded by lush native trees and chirping birds.
