The "mission-style" property is in the most affluent section of Carmel Valley (private gated area), located eight miles from Carmel By The Sea and directly off Carmel Valley Road Carmel Valley is known for its sunshine and beautiful scenery. Some of the finest resorts and spas are located within a three-mile distance. Carmel Valley is also the home of some of California's top wineries and restaurants.
The 3400-square-foot property is very modern and has incredible views facing directly into Carmel's national forest mountains (Garland Ranch), where you will find wonderful hiking trails, waterfalls, and streams. This home even has a quiet stream that runs next to the property.
The inside of the home has beautiful hardwood floors and high vaulted ceilings, along with huge glass windows for the sunshine and views. Upstairs you will also find a formal dining room, a breakfast dining room, the living room with a fireplace, a furnished and spacious kitchen, a pantry, and a wash and laundry room. The second floor is fully carpeted and is your bedroom and office floor with a master bedroom that has a CA King bed, gas fireplace, walk-in closet and bath with separate shower and jacuzzi tub. There are two additional bedrooms with double size beds and a shared bathroom with combined tub. And an office with a writer's desk, internet (the house has WiFi) and a leather couch that pulls out into a bed if extra sleeping room is needed. 3 of the 4 downstair rooms have sliding glass doors that open up to the beautifully landscaped garden and backyard patio with views of the valley. The entire property has complete privacy and tranquility.

We had such a wonderful family visit at your home last year over New Year's we are hoping to do it again this year. August 2009 Hi Kim: We had a lovely time in Carmel Valley last week. Your home provided us a wonderful, much needed retreat. We so enjoyed hanging out upstairs basking in the sunlight and taking in the views that we rarely got out of the house to do anything until afternoon! Kim Just returned to the UK this Sunday from Southern California. We had a great time in Carmel Valley. The house is beautiful and situated in a fantastic location. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in that area (it has the great advantage of being sunny when the marine layer is in!). Thank goodness for satnav, though, as it wasn't too easy to find in the dark - don't know if you heard that we had a puncture near Gilroy on the way down and had to go back to San Jose to change the car over so didn't arrive until after 11pm.
