This cabin is just what you are looking for if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax at your own private getaway. The lakefront property is quiet and secluded. The lake is beautiful. There were no mosquitoes! The boats were fun and although it was a bit late in the year to go swimming, we could see how inviting the lake would be in warmer weather during the summer. The interior of the cabin is cozy and just right for family gathering. We kind of wished it had been cooler so we could have built a fire in the fireplace. This would be an ideal vacation spot all year long. We felt right at home, and with all the amenities of home provided, about all you need to arrive with is your luggage. There are plenty of stores within a few miles. Florence is a wonderful town and is fun to explore. The ocean is just a couple of miles away, so if the beach is your thing, then it's relatively close. Come discover what our family did - that staying here was just like coming home!

This is such a wonderful place for relaxing and taking in the water scenery. The house has so many extra comfort features and makes you not want to leave... I hope to come back next year!

We're preparing to leave Collard Lake and the sun is shining perfectly through the kitchen window. Time goes by so quickly once you get away from the daily routine. We enjoyed the weekend at the lake. The place was perfect for our family and we look forward to returning in the summer months.

We had so much fun as always, canoeing and boating, swimming, playing in the sand, hiking, and going to "Tattoine" 2 lakes over. Two of our kids caught their first fish! This is a perfect family vacation spot! We couldn't talk the kids into going to the beach!

We had a great time--the cabin worked out great for our family. The view from the deck is awesome. My Grandma took several solo canoe rides. She also rowed us around in both the canoe and the boat. (She's nearly 70, but she was the best oarsman of the bunch!) Thank you so very much!

Our second visit to the "cabin in Oregon" was as much fun, if not funner than the first. Thank you again for letting us come and make even more unforgettable memories. Our family enjoyed picking blackberries, catching salamanders, and watching movies every night. We will never forget this place!

We all had a great time. Thanks for the rental of the cabin. We caught a 12" fish the first night here. We named him Walter and sent him back. We had a salamander race on the dock. If you catch a one eyed Salamander, his name is Uno. We paddled across the lake to go sand boarding.
