  There's really not much more that I can saw about "Dogwood", that others have not already said. This is our second stay of a week here within 6 months. It truly is the best for folks with or without pets! Great accomodations, excellent stocked kitchen, and the yard....well...simply grrrrrrreat! Convenient to everything. Our only "reservation" is the same we had following our first stay....just hoping that the next time we want to make a reservation, that the time slot is available...LOL! Thanks and kudos go out to Ralph and Cheri!

Until then - we'll keep the home light burning. It's good to know that our guests are so comfortable at Dogwood that you want to return. The charges are less than a nice hotel, you have all the comforts of home and MUCH more room. AND you get to bring your pet family with you! What more could one ask for?   My husband and I just spent a long weekend at this cabin with our two dogs. The dogs enjoyed running in the large yard. Everything was clean and well kept. The hot tub was well maintained and even has an awning over it so you could enjoy it even if it was raining. The bed was very comfortable. The area the cabin was in was very peaceful and quiet. Lots of beautiful apple orchards in the area as you drive around. We highly recommend Fatz Cafe for dinner. The staff was VERY friendly and the food was delicious. Make sure you let them know if it is your first time visiting one of their restaurants!

  This cabin was perfect for our our month long stay in Hendersonville. The cabin was clean and very comfortable!! The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary equipment one would need to cook basic meals, plus the gas grill on the deck was nice to have. They even supplied the basics (salt/pepper, foil and other paper products, coffee filters, basic toiletries, etc) to get your vacation off to a good start. The gas fireplace was especially nice to take the chill off after a hike in the cooler weather. Our dog loved being able to run free in the fenced back yard! She also loved laying on the provided dog bed in front of the fireplace...her favorite spot when it was on. They actually supplied 3 different size dog beds as well as stainless steel food and water dishes. Definitely pet friendly!! Overall an excellent stay for us and we do hope to return next year!

  My boyfriend and I brought our 2 large dogs to the cabin for the long MLK weekend. The entire stay we kept commenting on how nice everything was and the various amenities. This cabin has everything you could need! The kitchen is FULLY stocked with everything you might need to cook a good meal for your family. There was measuring cups/spoons, knives, coffee maker, pots and pans, silverware, spatulas, wine opener, can opener, foil/plastic wrap, even corn cob holders, etc! The pantry was also stocked with things like salt/pepper, cooking oil, coffee, coffee creamer, sugar, etc. The items in the pantry probably wouldn't be enough if you were staying all week and planning on cooking every day, but for a long weekend it was perfect. A grocery store is about 5 minutes down the road so if you needed to go to get some groceries it isn't a huge hassle :) There was also some laundry detergent in the pantry, as well as any cleaning supply that you might need. The pantry also had a stack of games (Phase 10, puzzles, Yahtzee card game, etc) which was really nice for nighttime and relaxing by the fire. The beds were super comfortable and had plenty of pillows and blankets. I really have no bad things to say at all about this cabin! It was a wonderful weekend and everything we needed was provided :) I'd definitely recommend this cabin to anyone and will likely be returning next winter!

Some of the items in the pantry have been left by our previous guests, which we greatly appreciate! We love to hear that our guests truly enjoy our little home away from home and appreciate the effort that has gone into making it the perfect get away place.

  We recently planned a girl's weekend getaway to the Dogwood Cabin. It was wonderful! The cabin is a great size and very comfortably furnished. The owners have gone out of their way to be welcoming to dogs and people. The multiple sized dog beds and bowls available are a great personal touch. We will definitely be returning!! Thanks so much.

  Had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin. The cabin was spotless and well equipped. The fireplace was wonderful and the hot tub was relaxing. Will definitely stay there again. The doggies loved it to.

  We loved the fenced back yard for our four legged family member! He is a very small dog, so we just walked the perimeter and blocked off the few areas where he could escape. He loved it! Normally when we take him on vacation he has to be leashed and can't have as much fun. The cabin was lovely, cozy and clean. We would definitely stay there again! It was easy to have questions answered prior to booking, the owners returned emails right away, even on a Saturday when I wasn't expecting it :) It was truly a pleasure.

  Our only reservation is when it comes time to return, I'm afraid someone else will have reserved it ahead of us.   Was a pleasant experience. Well kept and well appointed cabin with a nice fenced yard for the dogs to run and explore. Kitchen was ready for anything we needed. Enjoyed the ability to use DVR recorder for Olympics.
