Condo was very cute and comfortable!! Nice clean towels. Beds were very comfortable! Kitchen and bathrooms were great except the shower curtain in tub was moldy. Enjoyed the balcony. Pictures on website are a perfect representation of the beachy look and feel of the condo!! Nicely decorated! Owners easy to work with and helpful. Security was not helpful when needed. Pools were great..beach was HOT in August and wish shuttles ran more often. Nearby restaurants were great! Loved the Lighthouse! Would recommend to friend or relative.

We needed a family get-a-way, and wanted the beach, a pool and tennis courts. We got it all! This condo was a great fit for us. The kids were able to hit in the morning, then head to the beach; come back, clean up, grab a snack and cool down before dinner. My husband and I enjoyed the proximity to everything, but not having to go anywhere. The pictures and description were right on the money, and the owner couldn't have been easier to work with. We hope to make it an annual trip.

Friends and I spent a week at this condo mid-May, and we had a great time. I'm surprised at the previous review's comments about the housekeeping--when we were there, everything was spotless. The condo is adorable, with the look and feel of a real beach cottage. And the beach itself was absolutely beautiful. I'd go back anytime. I already miss having my morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the golf course. As for the linens, etc., everything was immaculate. I liked the guest soaps, shampoo and conditioner--I wasn't expecting anything like that. Very thoughtful. I'd recommend this condo to anyone, you'll have a great time. Hilton Head Island-Love It!

This condo was in great shape. Looked like it was just remodeled. TIle throughout make it very clean looking. Loved the indoor pool and proximiti to the beach. Great value for the $! Owners easy to deal with and a very smooth transaction! Thanks for a great time!

No Frills

The condo is affordable but no frills, very basic amenities. The A/C worked well and the shower was hot. The linens were very thin, stained/ripped and well used. The decor of the condo was cute but the walls have lots of wear and tear on them, cleanliness and upkeep were not a priority. The floors did not get cleaned well and needed a thourough steam clean with bleach, especially the bathrooms. When the owner was contacted she did offer for the maid to clean again, but we had already done that. Plus, when the maid cleaned her supplies were minimal (one bucket with a broom and cleaners) no vacuum or mop, she used the broom with a towel on it to mop. The pool was closed for a day for cleaning/repairs. The owners were going to check about the pool but we never heard back, it was finally opened the next day, although some of the lounge chairs were broken so we used our beach chairs at the pool. In the condo there are beach chairs, buggy and boards which were helpful. Wifi is not strong enough in the room, maybe in the lobby if you want to sit by the indoor pool. It was nice that the condo has a porch, especially in the am for breakfast and drying clothes but hot in the PM. Kitchen is nicely updated which left the rest of the condo looking run down. The resort has two outside pools which aren't very big and an inside one which is where this condo is located. The walk to the beach is 400 yards or so, the tram ran every other hour not continuously (even in the 101 heat). We didn't spend much time at the beach because two people in our party got stung by jellyfish, which apparently are prominent at the end of July and in August. There are great restaurants in the area (Smokehouse and One Hot Mama's were good, skip Stacks and Nicks just go to IHOP/Applebees) and we took day trips to Savannah (take a trolley tour) and Beaufort (carriage ride). The Outlet Mall is half closed for renovation. It was one of the only condo's that would allow us to stay less than a week and by far very affordable, so if that's what you need then this one will do.

Owner response:I am sorry the condo was not cleaned properly. We did, and would always, offer to have the cleaning service return to clean to the satisfaction of the renter. We do not wish to have disappointed renters. We have had very happy renters all season and hope to continue to for the rest of the year. We renovated the entire condo and the resort itself has done a tremendous job renovating the resort and boardwalk. We have changed cleaning companies and are confident that the unit will be better kept.
