  My kids and I stayed at Carmen's unit on the beach last week. We loved listening to and watching the ocean from our balcony and bedroom. Everything was clean, and exactly as advertised. The kitchen and bath were well equipped with everything we needed. Carmen was quick to answer any questions, responding instantly "Tell me," when I called with a question. She couldn't have been a better host!

  We chose this unit because of its location, on a point right on the water, and it turned out perfectly. You really are right on the ocean, and can see and hear the waves all day and night. The apartment is just like the pictures, and is very clean and well-equipped. We slept with the windows open, and all we heard was the ocean - it was very quiet, with no traffic noise, but well-located a few blocks from the restaurants and stores on Isla Verde Ave. Carmen was professional and friendly, answering questions quickly and meeting us on time. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and family visiting Isla Verde!

  My boyfriend and I went to Puerto Rico for the first time last week. We had a great stay at Carmen's condo! It has a great view of the water with easy access to the beach - it is literally steps away from the building. The property has keyed entrances, which we liked. It is within walking distance of Vias Car rental, bus stops ($.75 to get to Old San Juan on the T5) a Walgreens, and great restaurants (check out La Playa Hotel at the end of the block, and Metropol which is a few blocks away). Carmen's condo is clean and comfortable. You literally need only bring yourself, clothes and toiletries - everything else you need is supplied at the condo (beach chairs/towels, beach toys for kids, coolers, sun hats, extra pillows/sheets/towels, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, coffee pot, dishes & cooking utensils, stereo, internet hook up, seating on the balcony...even books and a hammock!!) Carmen was easy to reach, and very friendly and professional throughout the booking process. It was easy to make our deposit and payment to her through paypal, and she was expedient in returning our deposit after we left.We had a fabulous time in Puerto Rico, and a big part of that was having a comfortable place to stay. We would recommend Carmen's condo to our friends and family, and we will be back!

  Staying at Carmen's apartment was exactly what we hoped it would be. It's right on the ocean with a deck overlooking the beautiful ocean. We also enjoyed the privacy that this building provides. Take 10 steps on the right or the left, and you'll find a beach with many people, if that's what you're looking for. But immediately in front of the apt., it's a quiet haven. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. You won't be sorry.

  My husband and I have stayed at this rental place twice. Last year was our first stay and we absolutely fell in love with the apt that we decided to go back this year. The apt is always cleaned, good security, a very safe place, and great location. You can enjoy the sound of the ocean waves through out the day, which did wonders for us. We love this place! In addition, Carmen is a great hostess, she responded to all our needs on timely manner, and always kept us informed of any possible issues within the building. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, safe place to stay during your vacation in Puerto Rico, then this is your place. My husband and I are planning to visit the island at least once a year, we told Carmen that we would like very much to stay at her place every time we visit Puerto Rico, that's how much we love the apt. Thank you Carmen for maintaining a lovely vacation apt that others may enjoy!

  My brother and I rented for one week. We moved out of the condo mid-week due to traumatic conditions and health issues which we reported daily. I reported AC failure on arrival day--when temps were in the 90's, and the next day reported a number of other issues listed below. It took two days to determine that there were also bedbugs in the main bedroom.--though we were suspicious after the first night--but the 2nd and 3rd day each added more bedbug bites. I called and left a message on the condo managers phone on Sunday morning.to which she returned the call several hours later--and when she called back, my complaints were not heard, only denied with talking over me continuously despite my rebuttals, as well as a confrontational tone, denying any culpability or possibility of truth to our allegations. She insulted my brother and alleged dementia--which because he was a little jet lagged and tired had some difficulty negotiating the 10 or so keys needed to enter--her response was anything but good customer service. • 1-2 Cockroaches scuttling across the bathroom daily despite spraying roach and ant killer every day • Bedbug bites--beginning the first night--and each day 1-2 new bites. My brother sleeps nearly always on his left side: all bites are on the left side; these only occur at night; he has not spent time on the beach. I have photographed them. • The air conditioner in the living room hadn't worked for 4 days • Multiple areas of apparent blood and other body fluids on the mattress pad on the sofa beds in the Living Room which is where I had to sleep--I have photographs. • The microwave oven glass plate had caked food--like oatmeal or some substance as well as yellow spatters around the rest of the oven • The Living room Television set suddenly wouldn't work on sunday from poor reception to no reception; I had a friend come to check it out as I had checked all connections with the TV off and couldn't get it to work; he found that the coaxial cable was very loose and had to be moved just right to reconnect. So we were not able to resolve the issues with the bedbugs, and after spraying the bathroom every day with ant and roach killer ourselves, finally the day we left was the first day we did not see a bug. Carmen refused to refund any money despite our complaints and leaving 3 days early to check into a hotel.This whole incident posed major stress and anxiety for both. We were in Puerto Rico for his daughter's wedding.

  Owner response: When I heard these complaints I was shocked. First time I get so disgusting complaints about insects and cleanliness in my apt. Ms. K was very difficult to speak to, loud and agressive, I decided most of our communications to be thru e-mails. •Ms.K was not the person who did the check-in walk thru with me on arrival day(Saturday morning),it was her brother and his son in law. We did a detailed walk thru of the apt. incl.the microwave and it was clean. All was very clean and in perfect conditions.I left. Ms.K arrived later that day I did not meet her. •On Sunday morning I heard a voice message left by her late the night before that the living area a/c was not working. Immediately I called back and told her early Monday I was going to call the service co.that has unit in guarantee.They did not answer my calls until Tues. morning and that same day tech.went to the apt.and the a/c was fixed.No other way this could have been solved earlier. Nevertheless in one of her e-mails Ms.K says “ocean breeze was so nice and the temperature was very comfortable that I was able to sleep”. (68's) •Her brother showed me some small bites he had on the lower part of his legs near the ankles. As soon as I saw them I knew they were mosquitoes or mimes bites. Mimes are very small flying insects that can be found near the beach, rivers, plants almost any outside area in the tropics. It is not known why but some people are more susceptible than others to get a bite from them.Some persons are more allergic to their bite and to the tropical climate in general. Mr.M did not get those bites on the bed;there are no bed bugs on the mattress of the bedroom bed. I did recommend seeing a doctor if it was bothering him too much. •Ms. K never mentioned to me about the TV cable being lose. •When Ms. K mentioned to me about “the minuscule ants and cockroaches on the floor” I was surprised and offered to go there immediately and take care of it. Her answer was “it is not necessary because I already cleaned the oven and sprayed the insects away” When I went to the apt. with the a/c technician I did check and there were no signs of bugs anywhere and everything was clean. •They left 3 days earlier. She asked for some money back and threaten to write negative review if money not given. Cancellation policy states “there is no reimbursement for early departure” •The security deposit was reimbursed as agreed. I like to think this has been a night mare, not a real situation.

  My husband and I choose this property to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was perfect. The apartment has a private balcony with the best ocean view. We were lucky to be there on a full moon night and it was very romantic. Carmen had sent us driving directions from the airport and she was there to open the gate of the secure parking area and greet us. She showed us around the condo and thru the apt. The apt. is just like you see it in the website pictures. It was clean and with enough linens, towels and also beach towels and beach chairs. Carmen provided maps and tourists guides and gave us suggestions of places to go. From the condo you can walk to Isla Verde hotels and attractions, and very convenient driving to favorite tourist spots. We plan to come back in the summer and bring our children to this lovely place. Carmen, thanks for being such a nice hostess.

  As you enter the apartment the view is breathtaking and you feel the nice breeze from the ocean. Carmen, the owner, was waiting for us. Very polite and helpful she answered all our questions as we did the walk thru. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had all the expected amenities. The beach is right there and from the balcony you can hear the waves. My husband, our daughter and I took turns to lie on the hammock in the balcony. The condo is in a nice and quiet residential area from where you walk to all the hotels, restaurants and night life in Isla Verde. We loved the place and highly recommend.

  It was greeeaaat! The view is beautiful, the weather was great, the beach was very clean and the water warm and clear. Ms.Carmen the owner is so nice. We had a good and relaxing time. We highly recommended. My children had a blast.

  We spent a wonderful week in this lovely apartment It was clean, exceptionally safe, secure and just perfect for a romantic time away for two. The location was absolutely fabulous, an easy drive to anywhere we wanted to be! It was only 15 minutes to beautiful Old San Juan, easy to El Junque, many casinos, etc, etc. (Public Transportation was an easy block away and very usable if you don't rent a car!) The beach was lovely - we swam every day in clear, wonderful water! Many thanks to the owners for their honest and caring communications regarding the property. We can not wait to return.

  My two girls and husband stayed at this wonderful condo. The view was breathtaking, all we wanted to do was sit on the balcony and enjoy the beach. It was very convenient to restaurants and the beach. The condo was very clean and we felt secured. Carmen was wonderful, she met us at the condo on time and had answers to all of our questions.   Beautiful and Amazing Views!! We enjoyed five fun and sun filled days. The condo was very clean, quiet and cozy. Safety was never concern as the building was very secure, and the parking space was a definite plus. I can’t say enough about the fantastic views. I especially enjoyed watching the sunrise from the balcony. It’s in walking distance to many other attractions and activities, and you can’t beat walking out the back door and hitting the sand. We would highly recommend to friends and family. Carmen, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again.

  I spent an entire month in this apartment and loved it. I hadthe occasional visitor but was mostly vacationing solo. I felt safe from the moment the keys were in my hand and slept very peacefully that night and every night. I rented a car to see friends out on the island but otherwise the car sat in the garage. Major hotels like the El San Juan and the Ritz Carlton are within walking distance. So are reasonable restaurants like Chili's and Denny's.The apartment was very well maintained, clean and the neighbors were very friendly. The owner was very helpful but remained totally unobtrusive and provided me with all the privacy I needed. However the best part of this rental is the fantastic oceanview. From wherever I sat in the living room all I saw were the ocean waves. The breeze allowed me to leave all the windows open and the sound of the waves through the bedroom windows lulled me to sleep. It was a terrific choice and one I would make again. Afriend who came down to see me said "This is what I expect a beachfront apartment to be!" I wholeheartedly agree!.

  I stayed in this property with my boyfriend and we really liked it! The apartment is quite big and looks exactly like on the photos. We felt like we were visiting a friend who is not home as the apartment feels homey and has everything you need. We enjoyed especially the beautiful view from the balcony and very quite neighborhood. We were sad to leave because we absolutely loved Puerto Rico and this apartment. If we ever go back we would rent the same apartment again as it's much better then staying at the hotel.

  My wife and I are native of Puerto Rico who reside permanently in the US and stayed for a week in this apartment on vacations. It is a true ocean front apartment, with amazing ocean views from the balcony and bedroom. The beach is literally steps away and there is easy access to the beach. The apartment is just minutes from the airport and close to restaurants, luxury hotels and casinos. The owner was very nice, pleasant and helpful. The apartment is very secure and has an underground private parking space. We definitely recommend this apartment for a vacation in Puerto Rico

  We had a such a good time in Puerto Rico that we now want to live there. The condo was a perfect fit for us too. Large enough that we didn't feel cramped, right on the beach (steps away), and very close to anything you need. Since the building is not a hotel, we were the only people on the beach almost every day, although close enough to the hotels that we could rent equipment for water sports. The condo is very secure and the people living in the building were all very nice. Once we could figured out where to get things we needed (grocery, Walgreens, restaurants, etc), it was a breeze. We spent a decent amount of time around the island too in a rental car, and were very happy that we had a secure parking spot in the building. One of the better moments was seeing manatees in the water from our balcony. How amazing is that! We couldn't tell what they were at first and when we went towards the beach we found out from one of the other condo owners what they were, so we tried to swim by them, keeping a good distance. But they were close enough that we could have easily swam right up to them. The condo owner was also very, very nice and very easy to work with in every aspect. We plan to return to the condo sometime in 2009.

  Nestled between the El San Juan Hotel and Casino and the Ritz Carlton, this apartment was the safe haven I was looking for my week long vacation. It is located in one of the safest and quiet locations in Isla Verde--certainly close to nearby hotels, casinos, and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained; spacious enough for our family of four. The apartment complex was very secured with an amazing view of Isla Verde beach. You can't get any closer to the beach than this! The owner was very accomodating, even after our flight schedule complications. Great customer service indeed. Definitely recommend this property to my friends and family (and for my next vacation!).

  My sister and I stayed here in July while we were visiting family. The condo is very clean and located close to the airport and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The best part of this apartment is the terrace which faces the beautiful Isla Verde beach. In the mornings I would sit on this balcony and have my breakfast while connecting to a wireless internet connection from a nearby hotel. Of course access to the beach is easy and the beach is quiet and not crowded. The building is safe with a secured parking space. The agent was very pleasant and helpful.

  My boyfriend and I enjoyed our relaxing romantic getaway in Isla Verde Puerto Rico at this condo. It was perfect for us it was close to the airport and near public transportation. We did end up renting a car which the owner provided us with a parking spot. This way we were able to sight see and really appreciate the island. The condo was clean and the owner was very helpful and friendly. Not to mention we loved the beautiful ocean front view and refreshing breeze. Step outside and the beach is right at your feet. I also liked that it was very private. There was a little eating place on the corner where we frequently had inexpensive meals. Not to mention there are nice restaurants within walking distance. I felt very safe in this tourist area and had a great time. I would definately recommend choosing this condo whether you are on a romantic getaway or just searching for little R&R. If you are looking to save some money look no more its the perfect place to stay.

  We were very happy to find this apartment! We found it to be quiet, and we enjoyed the beach access and views from the balcony. The apartment itself is modern, well kept and very clean, and the kitchen was very well-stocked for cooking. The owner was very accommodating, and unfortunately, because of flight delays, had to wait for us until 2 a.m. to access the apartment! It is easy to find from the airport, and the surrounding neighborhood has shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. We have an 8-yr-old, and he slept on the sofa (which has a trundle bed) in the living room. For our needs, it was a good fit.
