The Chalet @ Blue - Water and Mountain View, Vacation Rental Chalet On Blue Mountain. Come and experience the Best that Blue Mountain has to offer. Located at the very top of the mountain, overlooking the small chalet community of Swiss Meadows, our Chalet offers the best views available, with vistas across Georgian Bay to Wasaga Beach, Midland and Christian Island. Our location is private but not isolated. We back onto farm fields and there is always wildlife to see for the patient eye. With 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, a new washer and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, a gas fireplace, a fire pit, and great decks for lounging the Chalet is a comfortable and cozy home away from home. We are a short stroll to the Gondola Ride down to Intrawest's Village @ Blue and all the attractions that the Village offers. For skiers, snowmobilers, crosscountry skiers or snowshoers, we are at the center of all amenities. There are many other attractions within a 30 minute drive of the Chalet. It is 15 minute drive to Downtown Collingwood, where you will find many boutique style stores and a variety of restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores to satisfy any appetite. The World's longest inland sand beach, the fabulous Wasaga Beach is a mere 20 minute drive from the Chalet, with it's "icing sugar" sand beach and it's warm clean water, it is a highlight of the area. Northwinds Beach also on Georgian Bay is a 15 minute drive away, as is the quaint and trendy town of Thornbury, and of course the Ravenna General Store and it's famous pies is a short 10 minute drive away. The Beaver Valley & the Beaver River are easily accessible for canoeing, fishing or just enjoying. Whatever your needs, upbeat and active, or laid back and restful, we can offer it to you.
