This spacious 3,000 sq ft family home, in one of Avalon's finest residential neighborhoods, is on a quiet 300 foot wide deep-water harbor.
You and your family can enjoy hours of water fun including excellent swimming from the roomy dock with two deep water boat slips. It's fun to catch crabs from the dock and with your boat(s), you will be delighted with how close you are to some of the best back-bay fishing along the Jersey shore, as well as easy access to the ocean.
The house, with plenty of off-street parking, is within 5 blocks of the town’s beaches, tennis courts and playgrounds; and a short bike ride (10 blocks) to downtown shops and restaurants. You will also find a wide variety of churches in Avalon and Stone Harbor.
The house is the "Avalon Upside Down" style, with the primary living area on the second floor. There is a wrap-around deck to offer sun bathing no mater what time of day and a covered area with table and chairs for outside dining. The well-equipped kitchen is strategically placed between the family room and the living/dining area. The large airy living room provides expansive views of the water and a dining area that comfortably accomodates 10 people. Located in a quiet corner off the family room is a queen-sized bedroom and full bath.
The first floor includes 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. The master bedroom (king bed) faces the bay and offers a furnished screened porch, a separate sitting room and a full ensuite bathroom. There are 3 additional bedrooms; one with a king bed and ensuite bathroom, two with two twin beds sharing the hall bathroom. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, high quality, comfortable mattresses and a selection of pillows and blankets.

We think Avalon epitomizes the perfect place for a family vacation. Our grown children still see this beautiful seashore resort as their vacation spot and come back with their families to enjoy all that Avalon and waterfront living can offer.
Why the Owner Chose Avalon
During the summer Avalon has scores of activities for all age groups. The little ones enjoy craft events and puppet shows -- older ones enjoy all kinds of sports and nature 'camps', teens love the surfing and sports camps. Overlaying it all are the most perfect beaches in the world (our opinion!)
Autumn and spring rentals provide a bright yet cozy getaway for families. Calm beautiful beach walks, excellent biking opportunities, cozy fireplaces for evenings of family games. We think there is nothing quite like Avalon beaches and dunes, during the quiet seasons!
Our house is roomy and can easily handle two families of four or any combination of 8 - 10 family units. Many of our tenants come back year after year because the house is very comfortable and the price is right for two families.
In the summer, bring your boat -- bring all you water toys -- come to relax and enjoy the best that the Jersey shore can give!
