This spacious and airy 3,000 square foot two-story single-family home offers five bedrooms and four full baths. The “Avalon Upside Down" style floor plan is perfect for your seashore vacation with eastern exposure and ocean breezes.
The second floor is encircled by decks to offer spectacular water views. There is an awning area for a perfect setting for your sunrise breakfast, your shaded family lunch or a truly unique cocktail hour. The well-equipped kitchen is strategically placed between the family room and the living/dining area. The large airy living room provides expansive views of the water and the dining area comfortably accommodates 10 people. There is a queen-sized bedroom and full bath off the quiet end of family/TV room.
The first floor includes a master bedroom (king bed) with eastern exposure has a furnished screened porch, a separate sitting room and a full ensuite bathroom. There are 3 additional bedrooms; one with a king bed and ensuite bathroom, two with two twin beds sharing the hall bathroom. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, high quality, comfortable mattresses and a selection of pillows and blankets. There are 3 TVs on the first floor, two on the second floor – all with full cable service.
Wireless internet service, 5 full cable TVs, complete laundry room, outside shower and a large back yard complete the package! Our home is available by the week(s) beginning in June and through September 2011.

During the summer Avalon has scores of activities for all age groups. The little ones enjoy Avalon's spectacular protected beaches, craft events and puppet shows in town -- older ones enjoy all kinds of sports and nature 'camps', teens love the surfing and sports camps. Overlaying it all are the most perfect beaches in the world (our opinion!)
Autumn and spring rentals provide a bright yet cozy getaway for families. Calm beautiful beach walks, excellent biking opportunities, cozy fireplaces for evenings of family games. We think there is nothing quite like Avalon beaches and dunes, during the quiet seasons!
Our house is roomy and can easily handle two families of four or any combination of 8 - 10 family units. Many of our tenants come back year after year because the house is very comfortable and the price is right for two families.
In the summer, bring your boat -- bring all you water toys -- come to relax and enjoy the best that the Jersey shore can give!

Avalon's beaches are among the best in the world. Three generations of our family have grown up with a lifelong fondness for the beach and ocean. Swimming off the dock, dining on the outside deck, biking to spectacular beaches. A summer family vacation doesn't get better than this!!
Off season provides quiet walks on the beach, communing with nature -- or even great touch football with your kids on the vacant but exansive beaches. The quiet roads in Avalon and Stone Harbor provide great nice family biking opportunities.

Our family of 5 stayed here for a week. The bay is absolutely beautiful! We brought our 22' boat, 2 kayaks, a small sailboat and crab traps. Our children, ages 20, 18 and 12 had friends visit and everyone had a wonderful time fishing and boating. I swam the length of the bay several times and the water was clean and clear. The house is large and lends itself to group activities (game night) or quiet reading spots. Great outdoor shower and fenced in area to store bicycles, surf boards and beach chairs.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers.

We had so much fun!! The house was bright and airy -- the water was really nice. My husband and I swam the length of the harbor each morning. The kids enjoyed our kayaks in the harbor and also swimming off the dock every day. The deck off the living room was a perfect place for meals -- and some evenings you could hear the ocean. Views to die for . . .!
