VI was a wonderful experience for me and my two sons. We arrived at the condo on May 6, and were greeted by the onsite manager. Not only did he help us settle in, but he also gave us great advice about all the activities in the area and helped us make reservations. Though most guide books do not talk much about ziplining and rafting options in the Domincal area, these are readily available. Domincal itself is a fun, funky town with good dining options, and just below it are beaches where you will feel you the first one to ever step foot on them. About the condo itself, the pictures do not lie - the setting is is stunning and the condo itself is modern, comfortable, and convenient. (When they say to rent a 4-wheel drive, believe them, though the off-road drive to the condo is not at all treacherous.) I agree with the other commenters on this page about the place, and would also like to add that there is a good collection of DVDs and books available, for those times when you don't feel like doing anything. And no matter how active (or inactive) you are during the day, it's great to chill out on the patio by the pool and listen to the birds as the sun goes down. I would recomment VI to anyone, whether you are looking for an adventure vacation or a place to relax. You won't regret it.

One wakes to a visual cacophany, here, where you are as close to the sky as you are to the earth. There is an exquisite pleasure in observing the play of light as the sun greets each new day to the myriad sounds of parrots, toucans, hummingbirds, monkeys and the distant surf bringing you back to the womb of Mother Earth. In the midst of my reverie, a Blue Morpho butterfly "appears", flying over my head, taking my breath away. Fresh mandarinas, delicious in marinades and beverages, await you out side the front door amidst the beautiful gardens. The house is tastefully serene and delightfully private. My favorite room, however, is the outdoor shower, with orchids peeking through the slats. Did I mention the pool? ahhhh....yes - a mermaid's dream come true. One feels connected to the pulse of life, la pura vida, here in astonishing Vistas Infinitas, grateful for the experience. I need to do it again...soon. sooner.

This was the perfect get away. It’s gorgeous house with a breath taking view of the Costa Rica Pacific Coast. The house is off the beaten path- just enough. It is only minutes away from other attractions and fine dining options but wonderfully secluded if you just want to hang by the pool and watch the sun set. Be sure to get up early to see the Tucan’s flocking in the trees.

A wonderful escape from the daily drudgery of work and wintertime. Far enough away from the towns and tourists to be completely quiet and peaceful. One or two cars would go by in the evenings. Yet still close enough to the various towns up and down the coast to go out for dinner or drinks in the evening. Not that you would have to, if so inclined the kitchen has everything you would need to cook your own meals. There is a grocery close by in Dominical. Also close to activities like zip lining and the beaches. The house itself is amazing. The views from the covered porch of the Pacific are incredible. Inside the house the furnishings are first rate and the bathrooms are spacious and modern. The small pool in the back is perfect to take a dip after a day out. I really have nothing negative to say. I will definitely be back.

Our family stayed at Vistas Infinitas for one week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was very nice and well appointed and the scenery is breathtaking. 4-wheel drive was a must for the steep climb up to the place on a few rainy evenings.

We cannot begin to tell you how much we’ve enjoyed our stay here in your wonderful home. It is incredibly peaceful, yet filled with vibrancy. We made good friends with the neighbors and my son played with the boys daily. They escorted us around the village and brought us to some fantastic vistas. We also enjoyed the neighborhood sloths and the afternoon visits from the toucans. We loved the location because we could surf all day in Dominical or visit the calm beaches of Uvita, then return home to the peace and tranquility of Vistas Infinitas. We would venture out all day, then be sure to get home before the glorious sunsets every evening. Also, your home is impeccably designed and maintained. As an architect, I thoroughly respect and appreciate the great attention to detail. Thank you for sharing your glorious home with us -- we are already making plans for a return visit in April. We woke up to toucans chatting in the trees. The breezes are delightful and the house is so open we felt like we were outside but with all the luxury of a modern beautiful home. Sunsets were not to be missed as we sipped cocktails poolside and slowed down to the rhythm of long peaceful days and starry nights. The kids loved the pool and many other swimming adventures at several different palm-lined beaches nearby and a great waterfall. We enjoyed eating and souvenir shopping in Dominical and found the Ticos very friendly and helpful. The views from Vistas Infinitas have to be experienced--pictures just don't capture how magnificent the mountains and ocean are. It's always changing and always inspiring. We would love to stay there again. IF you want tranquility and the beauty of birds, flowers and nature in a tropical setting, this is the place for you.

Sitting here on the deck in a cloud, in the distance thunder rolls and streaks of lightning crack the sky over the Pacific, it has been raining all night. Large droplets fall into the pool and form bubbles which last for three seconds then disappear beneath the surface. This is my first visit to Costa Rica. I've accompanied my friend Elaine who is seeking a house for purchase. My impression of this nature land is still unfolding. As each layer is lifted, one is able to get a glimpse of the beauty and complexity of this region of the world. The extraordinary beauty of the flora, its rich denseness; the birds and butterflies; the exotic sounds; and most of all, the beauty and warmth of its people. We are still waiting and wishing to see a sunset, but in the meantime, we're taking in as much of the other jewels as we can fit into a day. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise. Oh to be back at Vistas Infinitas, sitting by the pool with a margarita and watching the sun set over the Pacific...or sitting by the pool in the morning watching the mist layer over the valley and trying to find the birds that woke you up at such an early hour (the sun rises early!) What a delightful place to be. Vistas Infinitas is beautifully appointed with magnificent views. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, the bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms modern. Your own private paradise. If you decide to leave for a while there are adventures to be had and many outstanding restaurants in the area. The food was wonderful everywhere.

Oh to be a bird at Vistas Infinitas. To swoop down to the jungle below with all of it's shades of green, gold and blues of the sea and sky. Our stay was magnificent. Toucans and Parrots woke us in the morning as the sun spread over the mountains below us. A cool breeze kept us perfectly comfortable as we sat by the pool and took in the glorious vistas all around us. The casa is contemporary, open, breezey, beautifully furnished, with views from all directions. With the breeze to cool you, the pool to refresh you, the calm to soothe you and the colors to inspire you, it is truly a place to cherish and return to.

Vistas Infinitas, an appropriate name for a beautiful place with a sweeping Pacific view. Cool breezes refresh you after a dip in the pool on a hot afternoon. The house itself is well appointed, stylish and very comfortable, we found everything we needed. I will never tire of the view as the day opens up. The lazy clouds rolling across the horizon early in the morning, and watching the stars at night from the comfort of the patio are just magnificent. The beaches nearby are fabulous, Guapil was my personal favorite, and seeing humpback whales was a truly memorable experience. This trip to the jungle was a wonderful escape from the winter snows in North Carolina.

Casa Vistas Infinitas 2007What we liked the best? Well there is a lot... the house is spacious and luxurious, it was close to the beach, it was clean, everything you needed was available – even internet access!, and Mary, the neighbor who also cleans is wonderful, super helpful and friendly. It was a special treat waking up to the view of the coast and the awesome valley. Plus, several fantastic beaches are a short car ride away, so we really felt like we had the best of both worlds. The rental company contact was friendly, helpful & always available. We had a fabulous time in this beautiful home. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the mornings and afternoons watching the clouds and the stars during the evenings. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We can’t wait to come back!Marisa, NY
