What a wonderful, relaxing visit to the ocean! Our trip was all we expected.....and more. Thank you, Tish, for a superb place on the beach for our fall vacation. Tho the weather could have been better (rainy & extremely windy for the first few days), we found inside things to do and got outside when the weather improved later in the week. Such a gorgeous place - everything we needed & more. We just couldn't get enough of the views and those ocean sounds we've missed so much..Thank you for sharing your home with us. It was awesome! Oh, how we've missed the ocean! Perfect time of year to go - not crowded, but 80 degree weather! Had the beach all to ourselves many times....loved it, loved it, loved it. Miss it already......

I visited this nice condo, with my twin and my 13 year old son. It was my relaxation away from real life. I needed to get away for medical reasons, and the calming effect of the waves restoreth my soul! The condo is North of town, but still right among all the condos. I would imagine it would be more hopping in the summer!!! Perfect walking distance to the pier. I didn't need anything while I stayed here, but a 100 Watt light bulb. (I had trouble reading, so I splurged!!) Tish even called to warn us of the upcoming storm, and we were totally fine. It was awesome!!! Since the Azalea festival was happening the day we got there, we were lucky to witness it close up!!! Tish left us some of her azaleas, on the kitchen table, brightening the day as soon as we walked in!!! The condo could definately sleep 6 people very comfortably. My bed was perfect!!! The hard part was trying to not take a nap in the afternoon every day. I think I needed some shades.... NO naps here!!! There is toooooo much to do! You can pick and choose to do as much or a little as you like. Don't buy a lot of food, you won't eat it all. Too many places to go!!! Kate's for breakfast was excellent. Great owner! Bring some of your cd's with you, and you will be entertained even more!!! We had a wonderful time, and it was a blessing....

Our November Vacation 2010

We thought the pictures posted were great , exactly what we were looking for . Turned out the unit was even better . The view from the balcony was supurb. Can not ask for anything more than sitting and watching the waves, the birds, the shrimp boats and an occasional dolphin. Yes dolphin, actually we seen seven the week we were there. The condo was great , very clean and soon it felt like being home. The weather matched the condo, sunny and warm for the time of year.We had planned a day of fishing with our 5 year old grandson on the pier up the the beach. That day turned out to be the coolest of the week 65 and quite breezy. The person running the pole rentals advised us not to waste our money cause the fishing was very slow and the fish that were being caught were mostly small fish. So instead we ventured out and watched the locals fish. There were many birds on the pier and they were there to steal the fishermans shrimp bait. The condo being right on the beach made it easy for me and our grandson to search the beach for treasures with my metal detector which I had brought from home. Tish was a pleasant owner to talk with and willing to make our vacation one without any problems. She was a phone call away in answering any questions we had.Our only problem this trip was those darn sand spurs which she said they were working on eliminating that problem. If you are looking for a nice location (right on the beach) a very clean with modern appliances unit, with a very nice and helpful owner, I highly recommend this condo to you. We truley enjopyed our stay and will be back again next year.

This was our first experience in a Condo and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute! Very clean and homey feeling. The beach was awesome to watch from the balcony. We enjoyed walking on the beach - not to many other people were there. We also explored Wilmington, we definatly recommend going on a carriage ride through the historic parts of town. Good shopping, movie theaters and lots of restaurants to try. We also went to the small boardwalk and it was fun to see at Christmas time with lights everywhere! We also had fun at the Aquarium.

We had a fabulous 4th of July holiday in Carolina beach. The condo was perfect- the beach is one of the best we've been to- the sand was almost like powdered sugar! Very private - a bit busier to the left and to the right of the condo but perfect for guests staying in this condo! Always had a wide open spot to set our beach stuff for the day. Carolina beach is like something you would see in a movie- with the fireworks, the boardwalk, the rides... so adorable. Thanks Tish for a wonderful vacation :)

My husband and I rented this condo for a getaway with two of our daughters, who are 18 and 15. The condo was beautifully updated and decorated. I loved the tile floors throughout and the great balconies with both oceanfront and canal views. The condo was very conveniently located to the boardwalk and other quaint shops and restaurants in Carolina Beach. However, it was just far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. The view of the full moon over the ocean at night was incredible. We cannot wait to go back again. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We have stayed at many condos along the North and South Carolina coast and this definitely was a great find.

My best friend and her husband are moving to Utah for his residency so this was our last hoorah before they leave. We could not have asked for better weather and location! We all had a wonderful time and hope to do it again next time they are in North Carolina. The condo is right on the ocean with a beach access right out front...Who could ask for more!
