You will find all the comforts of home here, and you will be just minutes away from spectacular waterfalls, gem mining, Cherokee Resort and casinos, train rides, antiquing, sightseeing, rafting, hiking, fishing, golfing, shopping, dining and all the mountains have to offer.
Relax, unwind and enjoy the natural beauty all around you. Our comfy cabin will make you feel right at home from the moment you open the door. "Charming", "Clean", "Private" and "Awesome View"... are the words most often used to describe our Smokey Mountain home in Franklin, North Carolina. Get a true feeling of being in the mountains while relaxing on the LARGE DECK and enjoying the stunning mountain YEAR ROUND VIEWS and SPECTACULAR SUNSETS! The deck is on the back of the cabin, and is a huge outdoor space to just relax and enjoy. You can see for miles across four mountain ranges. There is a nice GAS GRILL, and seating for outdoor dining on those beautiful mild summer nights.
We are located just 5 miles N of Franklin off US 441. The elevation is above 3200 ft; with easy paved and gravel road access to the cabin from US 441. Our Smoky Mountain vacation cabin is also close to many great areas; less than 5 miles away on Highway 64 is the start of one of the most scenic sections of road in North Carolina. It starts with the Cullasaja falls and then winds its way along parallel to the Cullasaja River past many beautiful smaller falls and scenic areas until you reach the town of Highlands where, for a change of pace, you can visit all the posh restaurants and unique boutiques. Along the way there is "Cliffside Lake Park" or "Lake Glenville" which are fun for sightseeing, swimming, fishing, boating and nearby hiking.

Very "homey", comfortable and clean. Views to die for. Convenient location for us. Hope to stay again. Cafe Rel' in Franklin is a don't miss restaurant, food is fabulous. Bogard's in Sylva is also very good.

What a beautiful cabin! We got to see the first snow this week with around 2-3"!! My husband had never seen snow, so this was very special. The trees and landscaping with all the snow was just breathtaking. The view is just unbelievable! Thanks for making our week here so comfortable and homey. We had everything we needed and more. We will be Back! Thanks again!

We stayed here a full & delightful month. Our time at "Mystic Peak" was one of our most relaxing vacations ever. Your home is most comfortable and met our needs and expectations perfectly. Coming here was a 50th wedding anniversary gift to each other and we enjoyed it more than any cruise we could have taken. As a part of our "50th Celebration", we renewed our wedding vows on the back deck. We held the ceremony during the beautiful evening sunset, which is a nightly pleasure. The full bloming butterfly bushes, the gorgeous hydrongias and the black eyed susans plus the purple cone flowers have added to the beauty; and the Canadian hemlock help create a special view from the front. Of course the view from the deck is a "sight to behold". The fog in the valleys each morning, to the colors of evening, all add to the panarama. It is obvious how much we enjoyed our "get away" here. Thanks for making it possible. We plan to return!!

Wonderful place to spend a few days relaxing! You have a beautiful comfortable home with all the essentials needed. Wish we could have actually spent more time enjoying the house and views. We were on the go so much we actually didn't have much time here. We bought a blender while we were here and I'm leaving it as a gift for such an exta nice place to stay. Thanks so much!
