Located just three miles from Tahoe City in Dollar Point, this beautiful 3,000 square foot home provides vacationers with every convenience and luxury necessary to relax and enjoy themselves. With room for up to nine people, families and friends will feel right at home. The house is set on a wooded lot with one of the largest grass backyards in the neighborhood, perfect for playing with kids or enjoying afternoon cocktails.
From your first steps inside the slate entry way, you will immediately notice the attention that was given to the decorating and furnishing of this home. The spacious living room has a beautiful slate wood-burning fireplace, comfortable plush furniture, cable TV with HBO and Movie Channel, DVD with surround sound, an extensive video library and CD player. A recently installed WiFi network gives you Internet access from anywhere on the property. And for those quieter evenings, there are ample books and games for all ages.
The dining room seats eight around an antique country farm table under a wrought iron chandelier with a beautiful view of the backyard. The bright, airy kitchen has all the appliances, pots, pans and utensils you need to create your favorite meals. There is a professional series stainless steel gas grill on the back deck, when barbecue is the call.
There is a full bathroom with shower on this level, convenient for changing out of winter gear. A laundry room with front loading washer and dryer and two car garage round out the first floor.
There are four wonderfully appointed bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom is located on one side of the floor for privacy and has a king-sized bed, Jacuzzi tub and walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and cable TV. The third bedroom has two twin beds and the fourth bedroom has a timber bunk bed that kids will enjoy. The second floor bathroom has a bathtub/shower and dual vanities. And each bedroom is stocked with ample pillows, linens and towels.
Dollar Point is close to everything. First class skiing at Squaw Valley, Northstar and Alpine Meadows are a mere 20 minute drive, Stateline casinos are just ten minutes away and Tahoe City restaurants are even closer. During the summer, Dollar Point offers some of the best amenities on the Lake and a beach pass grants you access to the private beach, pier, swimming pool, picnic area and tennis courts.
