Owner's Profile
Owner Description
My husband and I moved to the Flathead Valley from California 11 years ago. We were drawn to the area to partake of all the many year round outdoor opportunities.
Why the Owner Chose Somers
We think that the location of our vacation home is special. It is close to Kalispell, Lakeside, Bigfork, Whitefish and only an hour from Glacier National Park. Along with the location of the home comes the wonderful views of lake, Flathead mountains and the quaint town of Somers.
The Unique Benefits of this Home
We love to see the bald eagles and osprey as they swoop down on the lake to catch fish for their young. We also enjoy watching the bi-weekly sailboat regatta from the deck.
The sunrise is spectacular. Sun pours in the home.
One of my favorite things about the beach is how private it feels. For my girls I like how part of the beach glides gently into the water and is great for swimimng and how the other part of the beach is a rock wall that is nice to walk on or sit on.
Smores around the fire-pit are also a favorite.
After a day of fun in the Flathead Valley, nothing beats a soak in the outside hot tub.

How we ended up surfing the web and landing on your website remains a mystery. our last minute discovery brought us to #143 on the beautiful bay of Somers. We've enjoyed the charm, simplicity and beautiful views here. Our kids absolutely loved it here, my husband needed an overdue break from the strain of work and I feel inspired and refreshed to return home. Celebrating my mom's 70th here was fantabulous as was dinner at Fazooli's. We also loved the birds. Your thoughtfulness, generosity & warmth shines thru here and we are greatful to you for opening your home to share with others. Once again thank you for sharing your "little slice of heaven" with us all. Sosick family, Canada

Dear Cheryl and Family, Thanks for a great time up here at Flathead Lake. The cabin was completely stocked and we had everything we needed. The smores were a big hit! This was the perfect location for the 3 days we were here. Charter fishing in Big Fork, GNP on Saturday and visiting friends in Kalispell. I come and visit my friend Tim in Missoula once a year and we had a great time this year because of the cabin. The view and the location was close by to everything we planned. Thanks Again.

Cheryl & family, Thank you for your generosity in letting us use your lovely lake home. This was the first time we have done "VRBO" and the first time we've stayed more than a couple of nights in one place. What a difference! We went to Glacier National Park two days and went on a couple of hikes. Enjoyed the canoe and smores. - Thank you! This has been a memorable trip for our family. Also went to the "Amazing Fun Center" in Coram. It was a-mazing. Hope you have a great summer. Thanks for all your hospitality. The Spainhowers, Utah
