This spectacular home is located on a quiet cul de sac but is conveniently located close to the beach (walking distance), La Jolla Village (10 minutes), Pacific Beach (5 minutes), Downtown San Diego (20 minutes) and Torrey Pines golf course (15 minutes), home of the 2008 U.S. Open.

Decorated for the holidays, this lovely home will make for a delightful Christmas get-away; perfect for your own family celebration or for visiting friends or family in the area.

The home features a lovely open floor plan, making it great for entertainers and young families. Beautiful hardwood floors and designer interior paint give it the quintessential "California Casual" look and feel. The remodeled kitchen (with granite tile countertops) has an island ideal for casual dining. The living room features a granite-faced fireplace and windows on three sides to take full advantage of the ocean views. The bedrooms are spacious. The master bath was recently remodeled and features Travertine flooring, tile countertops with mosaic inlays and glass shower doors. Skylights and ceiling fans abound to create a light, open ambiance with well-circulated ocean breezes.

There is a king-sized bed in the master bedroom and another in the guest bedroom. The third bedroom has two twin beds. The office can be closed off from the rest of the house and an air mattress makes this another cozy sleeping area.

The backyard is an entertainer's paradise. Four sets of French doors lead to two different patio areas (one covered), and a large wood deck overlooks the peaceful canyon and the ocean beyond. A gas barbecue, gas patio heater, outdoor speaker system, outdoor living and dining areas and plenty of lawn area for the kids to play make this backyard ideal for adults and kids alike. Lushly landscaped with roses and high shrubbery to ensure privacy, you’ll spend as much time outdoors as indoors as you enjoy this fabulous La Jolla view home!

A wireless router and full use of a desktop computer is available. An HD big screen TV is in the living room, plus there are TV's (with DVD players) in two of the bedrooms. A pet door allows for easy pet access to the backyard. There are surfboards and boogie boards available for use at the local beaches. In short, this home has everything you'll need to be 100% comfortable during your stay.
