Two doors from the only the only international car/passenger ferry on the St. Lawrence River. Goes to Wolfe Island where you will check in with customs. Be sure you have the paperwork you need. In Marysville, there is an additional free ferry to Kingston, Ontario for many activities, like rock-climbing, street fairs, theatre, restaurants, and Historic Fort Henry.
Also, gorgeous, white sandy beach on Wolfe Island called Big Sandy Bay, just a few miles from Hornes Landing, (check it out on the web) reachable by boat (IF GOING BY BOAT, FIRST CHECK IN AT CUSTOMS AT FERRY DOCK ON WOLFE ISLAND SO YOU WILL BE LEGAL) or, if driving or bicycling, walk from your car after you reach the entrance to the park. No cars or bicycles allowed on this protected beach or dunes. Very secluded amd wonderful swimming. |
