  Just book it. Seriously. I don’t toss around the word “magical” to often but this house qualifies. The décor is impeccable, felt like we were in a luxury home on Nantucket. The second you walk through the doors you hear the waves crashing and feel the ocean breeze. All you see is water, it felt like we were on a boat! The patios have comfy furniture and tons of seating for entertaining. The sound system through-out of the house provided an on-going musical soundtrack for the trip. Huge bonus. We are in our early thirties and this was a perfect relaxing vacation. There is not much nightlife in Malibu but Santa Monica and LA are very close in proximity. The stairs between levels are outdoors, so might not be suitable for families with toddlers/small children. There is only sand frontage when it is low tide. When it is low tide there is amazing sea life…so cool checking out all the starfish, crabs, etc and seeing dolphins on a daily basis. We enjoyed hiking in nearby Solstice Canyon, dining at Moonshadows, Nobu and Malibu Seafood. We used yelp for all the restaurants. Santa Monica is very close by….but the home is so amazing we just ended up grilling on the balcony many nights. The home owners and Martin were extremely responsive and took great care of us through our stay. Every question we had was promptly responded to and we always felt every need was met with excellent customer service. We enjoyed the home and will be back! It’s worth the money…makes staying in hotels seem crazy when you could have a cozy beach home to enjoy for the week!

  The beach house is everything and more that is shown in the pictures and video! From the moment you step through the front gate, you are connected to the sight and sound of the ocean. The house is designed for guests to have full view of the ocean from every room. The owner has provided for all your needs whether you plan to entertain guests or have a relaxing private beach side vacation. We did both and our family and friends loved the house and location in Malibu. The house is tastefully designed and decorated and has plenty of great outdoor seating and space. Every person we dealt with during our planning and stay at the property was wonderful! They were prompt with responses to our inquiries, accommodating with our needs or requests and respectful of our privacy. We look forward to returning next year for a longer stay and recommend this home to all. (I would like to mention that the main floor and lower level are connected by an outdoor covered staircase. For families with young children it could be a concern. Our daughters are 13 and 9 and they loved having their own space at night on the main floor!)

  My husband and I recently spent two weeks at this wonderful home, It was everything we were wanting for a quiet getaway. The sealife is fabulous with dolphins and seals swimmming just a couple of metres in front of the balcony, and many birds feeding on the abundant shoals of fish. The decor and style is comfortable and attractive with all home comforts. The manager was extremely helpful and prompt with all requests and queries. Situated very close to Santa Monica and Malibu centre, there is the choice of all the best restaurants and shops or just wind down and stay at home. Highly recommended.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

  The most amazing quiet and relaxing home we have ever enjoyed. Our proprietor was very willing to accommodate us and our needs. Clean and refreshing throughout. What you see ie what you are getting. Near to everything. We are recommending this Home constantly. We are coming again to enjoy ourselves here soon.
