Rates from $135 to $335/night! Gorgeous, remodeled large air conditioned studio unit that sleeps up to 4 with two Queen beds. This Ocean Vista [development] unit was totally remodeled during the winter (2008). Unit is approximately 28' X 11' which includes sleeping and livingroom area (one large room), full bathroom, dressing room (11 drawer dresser) and storage closet.
Ocean Vista is located right on the ocean. Beautiful, wide private beach, so pretty it was used as a backdrop for a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model edition. Complimentary lounge chairs for the beach. Brand new kitchenette and bathroom. Storage closet. Ocean Vista has a heated indoor pool and sauna and an outdoor tennis court. Less then 2 minute walk from the unit to the ocean. Within walking distance to four restaurants.
Hampton Jitney stops right outside our door. 5-10 minute drive to Montauk and Amagansett village - 10-15 minutes to East Hampton. Activities: Boat rentals, fishing, water skiing, wineries, breweries, festivals, cruises, gliding, amusement parks, antiquing, concerts, night clubs, music and dance, theater, galleries, museums, farm stands, marinas, party boats, pools, diving, hiking, preserves, parks, botanical gardens, birding, golf, miniature golf, driving range, horseback riding, skating parks, shooting range, and polo are all at your finger tips within a 1 minute walk to a 1 hour drive. Four different pricing schedules ranging from $135 - $335 per night. Discounts for 1 week or longer rental. $50 (1-3 days)-$200 (7+ days) damage/security deposit required in addition to rental fee. [refundable after your stay if there are no damage or "items missing", over maximum (4) occupancy or pets in room (no pets allowed) incidents]. No additional cleaning fees. We had a great visit to Ocean Vista on June 10th -13th, 2011. The unit has everything a couple needs to be comfortable over the weekend. Unfortunastely it rained so we did not get to the beach but it looked beautiful and only steps away form the condo. The condo is located in between lovely Amagansett and Montauk.The only downside is that if you need to get anywhere you need to get in the car.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.

My husband and I were attending our son's wedding in Amagansett. We had never been to the Hampton's and had no idea really where to stay. We did not want to stay in town, but rather close to the ocean. This unit fit our needs perfectly. Clean, comfortable and with everything we needed to be comfortable. Although we never cooked (other than toast for breakfast) you certainly could because it is stocked with cooking/eating utensils, electric burners (2) etc. The staff at the front desk were great, very helpful and friendly. It was great fun walking on the beach in the morning as it was a short stroll from our room to beach. I don't know if we will return to Amagansett, but if we do we would certainly stay in unit #108 again. You definately need a car as the resort is halfway between Amagansett and Montauk and I think cabbing might get expensive.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children.
