THIS beautiful 2 bedroom. 2.5 bath home is located on a private California ranch near the Wine Country. The ranch is over 300 acres, so privacy in this wonderful country setting is a treat unto itself. BUT there is so much more. The property is located just off Interstate 80 and California Highway 12. Both are major connectors to all the fun, beauty & excitement California has to offer. Hwy 12 is the route to the Wine Country & 20 minutes of driving will find you in Napa. A few more miles down the road are Yountville, St. Helena & Calistoga & the great wineries, restaurants & shopping. Or maybe you're interested in seeing the Sonoma Wine Country. It too is an easy drive. Maybe you are looking for some city life. Traveling from The Guest House, San Francisco is 33 miles on I-80 or a delightful one hour ferry ride and California's state capitol, Sacramento, is 50 miles.
The living area is a large open space with living room area, dining & kitchen. The furnishings in the home are high quality & were chosen for this home. The large screen HD television in the living room has surround sound, satellite receiver with HBO, Showtime, Encore, Starz, DVD player, DVD library, ipod dock, ipod & stereo. There is a large gas jetted wood burning fireplace; wood is supplied for winter stays. A piano adds loads of fun if anyone plays. Full wet bar complete with glassware, wine openers, ice maker & wine frig.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils for cooking & dining. Granite counter tops throughout the kitchen. Gas cook-top, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, full upright freezer, & in the laundry room a washer and dryer.
Each bedroom has its own flat-screen television with individual satellite receiver that have HBO, Showtime, Encore, Starz. The private bath connected to each bedroom has a tub and stall shower. All the showers are tile as are the counters. In the master bath there is a vanity & large walk-in closet. There is one king bed in each bedroom.
But that's not all. Outside is the private pool, propane barbecue, dining table with 6 chairs, 4 lounges, 2 club chairs with ottomans, ping pong, badminton, stereo speakers.
PERFECT for enjoying a sunny hot day or an evening in the cooling evening air.
Greeting you upon your arrival is a beautiful gift basket loaded with candies and goodies from the near by Jelly Belly factory and two bottles of Rombauer wine, Chardonnay & Cabernet Sauvignon.

We visited the Napa Valley over Mother's Day weekend, and couldn't have been happier with the house we rented at the Ferrari Ranch. The home has all of the amenities including a fully stocked kitchen, incredibly comfortable bedrooms and furnishings. Every detail was covered. Our host even had a gift basket waiting for us! It was perfect for what we needed. We were able to cook and enjoy perfect morning weather for breakfast on the patio by the pool, and a quick drive into Napa had us in the heart of wine county dining. It was simply sensational, and I look forward to our next stay when we come north again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This home is just as the owner describes, and more. It is beautifully decorated with quality furnishings and anything you might possibly need. What set this house apart was the fact that the four of us (two couples)- each had a bedroom with adjoining bath. Both are spacious and the entire home is spotless. The master suite has a large bath with dressing table, hair dryers, flat iron, more towels than you would need, and a large dressing area. A large patio and grill surrounds the pool off the dining room with sliding glass doors across the length of the wall providing natural light throughout. We've already recommended this home to others. It is convenient to Napa without being in the busy area. Eileen was very helpful with a list of restaurants and limo services. We enjoyed a personalized day of tasting at excellent small wineries with one of the limo services provided (KMA Limousine). We also requested a list of restaurants- Eileen has a book set up with restaurants, shopping, grocery store locations, etc. when you arrive. As I noted, everything you can think of is in this home! In Napa, we enjoyed Carpe Diem wine bar, a wonderful meal at Oenotri and another at the Rutherford Grill. Oakville Grocery is always a must stop for picnic makings- excellent sandwiches, prepared entrees, cheese, and desserts. We've booked many VRBO's with my brother and sister-in-law, and agreed this was the best. We regretted having to leave this lovely, warm home after our 4 nights were over!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful time in the Ferrari Ranch House. It is well appointed. We needed nothing. Everything was available. The house was so convenient to Napa as well as to Fairfield shopping area. The house and grounds were immaculate. It was nice sitting outside on the patio drinking our wine. If it were warmer, we would have gone for a dip in the lovely swimming pool. We would recommend this to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We stayed the month of January, and loved every minute we spent in this beautiful home. It was just as described, and Eileen was so nice and helpful. The gift basket was spectacular. It was to me what a perfect California house should look like, lots of glass, beautifully furnished, gorgeous grounds. It was close to Napa and all the beautiful winerys, and just a short trip into San Francisco. We have stayed in many houses around the US, but this house was the absolute best!! We hope to stay here again, as we have family nearby, and Eileen made us feel like like we were at home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. The house is beautifully decorated and has every convenience needed and then some. Eileen had thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. There is a binder with restaurant suggestions and other information on local attractions. We were two couples and each of us had a spacious bedroom with bath. I would like a house just like it! We would not hesitate to stay again on a future trip to the valley.Recommended for: Age 55+.

I would highly recommend this rental property. Eileen was awesome in providing us with detailed information and the home was immaculate. Staying her was better than staying at a 5 star hotel. Whatever we needed was in the house...even the tiniest details that I don't even necessarily have at home. When we arrived, we had a beautiful welcome basket from Eileen with wonderful treats and two very nice bottles of wine. We really enjoyed our stay here because we were very close to Napa and Sonoma wineries but we were able to relax away from the hustle and bustle. The listing description and photos were accurate. I would highly recommend this property if you want to visit Napa and the surrounding area. There was easy access to the highways and we found it very convenient. I would highly recommend this amazing home for any type of trip, business or personal! The house is gorgeous, beautifully decorated, has comfortable bed and bedding, and emenities galore. The owner has obviously thought about every detail to make your trip enjoyable including music, games, a wonderful gift basket (my personal favorite), and a calm and enjoyable atmosphere! I guarantee you will love your stay at this home! WOW. Hands down, the best VRBO rental we've done over the past 10 years, around the world (and we are picky). The owners are wonderful & efficient to deal with. The house is exactly as described & pictured - but even then, this doesn't do it justice. It's centrally located -- and yet perfectly peaceful. Virtually anything & everything you need is supplied. Our daughter swam in the pool every chance she got. Napa wineries are 20 minutes away, as is fantastic outlet shopping. Our evenings consisted of dinner, wine, and scheming on when we were going to return. Oh -- and the gift basket when we walked in consisted of two (amazing) bottles of wine, and more jelly beans than a person should consume in their lifetime! All in all, the perfect place. My wife and I spent 7 wonderful nights in this beautiful, comfortable home. The location was ideal for exploring wine country and the surrounding area, but the house and pool were so relaxing that we spent a good deal of time just lounging around the pool. The owner has furnished the house most tastefully and has provided every conceivable amenity, including an ipod and laptop computer, as well as a wonderful gift basket complete with two bottles of very nice wine. She also provided a list of restaurant recommendations which were excellent. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a private refuge with easy access to wine country and all of the Bay area attractions.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

This is a beautiful home and Eileen went and surprised us with a customized gift basket for our family upon our arrival. The home is perfect and every room of the home is top notch. I would definately recommend this home for anyone in the area and and I would say I am a VRBO veteran. It is in a very quiet area with ease and closeness to Costco/Safeway and Napa is around the corner with a short drive. Thanks again Eileen. About the owner: My sister and I own the ranch. We have had so many wonderful experiences over the years we thought others might enjoy this unusual but convenient destination. Numerous attractions and destinations are noted on the map.
Why the Owner Chose American Canyon:
This vacation rental was not purchased as a vacation rental, it's a ranch. My family bought the ranch in 1960. Cattle graze on the acres, horses are raised and a sophisticated country life is enjoyed. Our location is one of the best in our area. Twenty minutes to an hours drive to destinations travelers hope to see when visiting the Northern California Napa Valley and San Francisco Bay Area. My professional background is hotel management. My knowledge and attention to detail is reflected in every aspect of your stay, from the amenities throughout the house (cotton balls, Q-tips, bottle water, cooking spices, condiments) to the beautiful gift basket made complete with a bottle of Rombauer Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
