This is a beautiful home and Eileen went and surprised us with a customized gift basket for our family upon our arrival. The home is perfect and every room of the home is top notch. I would definately recommend this home for anyone in the area and and I would say I am a VRBO veteran. It is in a very quiet area with ease and closeness to Costco/Safeway and Napa is around the corner with a short drive. Thanks again Eileen. We will be back for sure.
Owner response:Thank you Norm for taking the time to share your experience, it is so helpful for those who are in the decision mode of vacation planning. It was great to have you and your family here and I look forward to another visit in the not to distant future. Eileen

With so much to do in and around Napa, my husband, daughter, and I could have used another week just to hang out at this fabulous home. My daughter (8 years old) loves to swim and enjoyed the pool immensely. I chose to spend my time reading beside the pool. There were plenty of outdoor seating spots to choose from: double chaise lounge (nice), chairs and ottomans, dining table and swivel chairs - all perfect for relaxing or entertaining. We did both. Inside, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of amenities. Our favorites: instant hot water dispenser, ice maker in the bar area, laptop with internet and printer, big showers, lots of pool toys and floats. I highly recommend this home and I would love to stay here again myself.
Owner response:Beth, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feelings about your stay. I'm so pleased you all had a great time. It was great to meet you and your family. I hope you come back for another visit. Eileen

You cannot help but be impressed during a stay at this wonderful home in the Napa area. From the moment you drive up to the house and enter the home you will be impressed. My family and I (4 adults and 2 children) have just spent 5 nights staying here from Australia and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The home is well appointed throughout and Eileen has thoughtfully provided the special touches that make your stay special, especially the basket of goodies that we all, both young and old, could not wait to open. The kitchen is fully equipped for the best of cooks and the open plan living space is warm and comfortable. With the Napa and San Francisco close by, we found this a perfect base for our first visit to the area and always looked forward to returning to the house to relax in this peaceful haven at the end of the day. We will certainly be recommending the house to our friends back home and hope that one day we will return.

What a delight! As we were driving up to the guest house we were pleasantly surprised; however, not nearly as surprised as when we opened up the door! Roomy, light, inviting, very clean and a beautiful gift basket to boot! This is the perfect place to stay for two couples since there are two very well planned master bedrooms. The location makes for an easy drive into Napa and other wine areas. The living/dining room areas are both roomy and comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all of the cookware, glassware and utensils that one needs to create any meal. We were able to utilize the pool area for a couple of days and enjoyed playing ping pong, swimming and barbequing. The detail and care that Eileen puts into this rental are on a whole different level than prior places we have stayed. Right down to having shampoo/soap for showers and spices for cooking. Staying in Eileen’s guest house felt like home away from home. Everything stated by the prior guests are true. We look forward to renting her place again on our next trip to Napa!
Owner response:Thank you for your lovely comments. I look forward to a return visit. Fond regards, Eileen

All of the reviews for this property are definitely accurate. The amenities and services are provided as presented in the listing. Furthermore, the house presents itself even better as the pictures do not reflect the openness and grandness of all the spaces. Eileen and her staff were very accommodating. The house provided everything we needed. Civilization was close enough for convenience, but far enough away to relax and have peace and quiet. The location is more than ideal for exploring the wine country, the coast, and San Francisco. In fact, there is no need for anyone to need to stay in the valley when this home is available! This will be our choice if we visit again, we definitely recommend it for your vacation

Thank you for the wonderful stay in your home in Napa. We had a great time. We have stayed in homes from Florida to Maui and found yours to be the most well stocked and clean. It makes the stay that much more enjoyable. Thank you for the gift basket, we loved the candy and wine. We saw some of the sites around the area, went to Sonoma, Napa, a Giant's game in San Francisco, and the Brad Paisley concert down in Mountain View. We mostly enjoyed visiting with our son, grilling by the pool, and relaxing. All and all we loved it. Thank you.

My husband and I along with my sister and brother-in-law stayed at this fabulous house for a long weekend. We traveled to the area to visit the Napa Valley wine country. This home was a great location and close to all of our needs. The accomodations did not lack in any area, the pool and patio were spectacular. We hope to be back soon and absolutely recommend this home as a fabulous getaway. Far superior than many other stays we have enjoyed through our years traveling across seas and through the states.

What a great place to stay on our first visit to California. The house was very clean and well equipped. Everything we needed and more was provided. The pool area was private and we spent several days by it just soaking up the sun and then cooling off. It was very relaxing. The location is ideal for exploring the wine country ,the coast and San Francisco. Angele,s in Napa is a must for a lunch or evening meal. We would definately recommend this house for a visit and will be telling all our friends in the UK about it. Hopefully we will be back ourselves one day . Thanks Eileen

My husband and I lived in this house for a year while we remodeled our home. It was truly a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful, fully furnished, has a wonderful fireplace, a wet bar with a wine refrigerator, a big screen TV and is stocked with everything you could want, even games and movies. We loved waking up looking out at the beautful pool and woods. The owners treated us like family. This was one of the best experiences we have every had.
