The Vajgert Log Home is truely one of a kind as you will witness for yourself, as you drive down the driveway to the home set amongst 160 very private acres with its own pond.
Once you have settled in you can take a hike on the property which has rolling hills and is very wooded in areas, there is 150 feet elevation from the cabin up to 20 acres of white pines were you can have a picnic.
If you feel like going further about 4 blocks our property adjoins to White Mound Park which has 1092 acres of rolling hills and a 160 acre lake which you can fish on and boat with an electric motor.
The park offers horseback, snowmobile & hiking trails all marked.
You can also sit back on the deck which is 10 ft off the ground connected to the main level and watch the abundant wildlife, you can see deer, turkeys, fox and much more. If you are a bird watcher you can spot blue jays, hummingbirds, red tail hawks, bald eagles and a family of sand hill cranes. Your stay here will be great & you won't want to leave that is what all our prior guests have felt. It is like no other log home, please come see for yourself!!

We really enjoyed staying in this gorgeous 3 stories house for Memorial day weekend.. The house could comfortably accommodate 10 people, but we went as 5 adults and 2 children.. We enjoyed the campfire by the stars, walks in the forest, fishing in the lake.. We saw these animals by the house: rabbit, crane, eagle, water snake, bluegil fish.. Inside the house we saw these animals(mummified) : deer, elk, bear.

Awesome experience. Even more beautiful than the picture can capture. No detail overlooked. Spotless with all amenities provided. Wonderful service from the owner. We ate in Reedsburg at The Deli Bean. Outstanding menu with fresh and innovative items on the menu, which was priced reasonable. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away. Exceptionally accomodating for a large group, but would even be great for a family or couple.
