Our homeschool family needed a break from our home and this was an easy drive from Atlanta area. Our kids are 1, 4, 6, 7 and they all had a blast. The loved the yard, the donkeys, the hikes, the waterfall, upicking veggies and flowers. We will be back for a family refreshment!
Owner response:Thanks to Dale and Lisa for referring you to us. We enjoyed your family tremendously and your children are a delight. We look forward to seeing you again.

I've been to this cabin a total of 6 times for long weekends and sometimes a week at a time. We come to gather as friends and to bead, but we love the peace and quiet (we don't count the stream burbling, birds tweeting and crickets as noise), the beauty and the solitude. You are up on the top of the hill (almost the top) by yourselves with the owners' house guarding the driveway, so you feel secure. We'll be back for many more visits! And don't forget to ask what vegetables are available for purchase from the owners when you come! Fresh is always best!!!
Owner response:Thanks Susan! We always enjoy hosting your group and really appreciate you including our daughter and making her feel so welcome in your classes. See you in October!

Every other year we try to get together with our relatives from Brazil, a family reunion! We love North Carolina because where we come from it rarely gets cold and here we can enjoy the mountains and the snow. The boys went snow boarding and the girls built a snowman! We had a great time here in North Carolina's best kept secret. This is the best and most beautiful place in North Carolina and we hope to keep coming back for our family reunions! Thank you for everything because it was perfect! Plus: We all loved everything we ate from the farm! The Davy Family!

We have just returned from our week "on the farm". The grandchildren are already asking if we can stay there two weeks next summer instead of spending one at the beach and one in the mountains. The kids and I were there all week while other family members and friends joined us for shorter visits. Each one embraced the beauty and the activities ------- 7 months to 74 years of age. It is truly a place to enjoy God's gifts of nature, family and friends (old and new)!!
