Our homeschool family needed a break from our home and this was an easy drive from Atlanta area. Our kids are 1, 4, 6, 7 and they all had a blast. The loved the yard, the donkeys, the hikes, the waterfall, upicking veggies and flowers. We will be back for a family refreshment!
Owner response:Thanks to Dale and Lisa for referring you to us. We enjoyed your family tremendously and your children are a delight. We look forward to seeing you again.

I've been to this cabin a total of 6 times for long weekends and sometimes a week at a time. We come to gather as friends and to bead, but we love the peace and quiet (we don't count the stream burbling, birds tweeting and crickets as noise), the beauty and the solitude. You are up on the top of the hill (almost the top) by yourselves with the owners' house guarding the driveway, so you feel secure. We'll be back for many more visits! And don't forget to ask what vegetables are available for purchase from the owners when you come! Fresh is always best!!!
Owner response:Thanks Susan! We always enjoy hosting your group and really appreciate you including our daughter and making her feel so welcome in your classes. See you in October!

The house is spacious and the yard immense! The kids and adults in our family had a great time. We also enjoyed the fruits from your farm - thank you! - that was a big plus. We created beautiful memories on our first family retreat. Thank you.

We have just returned from our week "on the farm". The grandchildren are already asking if we can stay there two weeks next summer instead of spending one at the beach and one in the mountains. The kids and I were there all week while other family members and friends joined us for shorter visits. Each one embraced the beauty and the activities ------- 7 months to 74 years of age. It is truly a place to enjoy God's gifts of nature, family and friends (old and new)!!

Every other year we try to get together with our relatives from Brazil, a family reunion! We love North Carolina because where we come from it rarely gets cold and here we can enjoy the mountains and the snow. The boys went snow boarding and the girls built a snowman! We had a great time here in North Carolina's best kept secret. This is the best and most beautiful place in North Carolina and we hope to keep coming back for our family reunions! Thank you for everything because it was perfect! Plus: We all loved everything we ate from the farm! The Davy Family!

This was our 2nd visit. When we stepped inside we had a warm feeling that was better than home. Your sweet hospitality gave such peace and relaxation. We love the view - woke up to snow on the distant mountain tops - it was priceless. Our family is already planning to meet here again this summer. Your place and these mountains are simply irresistable! You are so blessed to live here in these hills - a place I feel close to God. I pray you will be richly blessed. I hope you enjoy "Smokey Mountain Mist."

What a great house. Awesome, space and floor plan with plenty of space for everyone. We loved canoe and waterfall, path out back was so convenient. Its so nice to hear the creek from so many rooms in the house. We can't wait to come back. So nice to have such a large kitchen and laundry. It rained almost all week but we had lots of fun. Great bread and jellies and dogs :) Thanks!

Scott and Stephanie, THANK YOU SO MUCH for a wonderful weekend. We and four other couples enjoyed your beautiful piece of Heaven there in Robbinsville! We cannot wait to visit again. Although it poured rain on Saturday, we still drove the dragon in our "VW Things". Hopefully we can take advantage of everything the farm has to offer when we are back there and have good weather. Can't wait to be back at the Cabin!!!

Dear Scott and Family, Pictures do not describe the wonderful place that you have here tucked and secluded into these beautiful mountains. The view is breathtaking. The donkeys and dogs are wonderful. We loved every single minute of our stay here at Stoney Hollow Farm. We have 13 people with our family here at your cabin, and were very surprised with how accomodating your cabin really is. Great and fantastic job to you and your family for making our vacation really amazing. Memories will last for us. We will see you next year. Thank you! JJ, Tymishia, Robert, Kiasa

Dear Scott and Family, This week has been really great. It's very calm and peaceful. The views are unbelievable. The berries are delicious. The animals are entertaining. The cabin was very clean and spacious; it slept the 13 of us with plenty of room to spare. I just don't want to go back home. Thanks for putting up with our scared children. We hope to come back next year.

I just want you to know that I¹ve been in a lot of cabins in North Carolina(summer and winter) and yours is by far the best. Specially for largegroups, maybe two big families or a group of bikers like us (we were 12bikers). Super comfortable and large enough to accommodate everybody¹sneeds.One can feel the privacy. No neighbors. The hole mountain just for us.Unforgettable experience.Your customer service and family were great. The products of your farm, justamazing. Your dogs behaved like they were ours, waiting for us to come backfrom our daily motorcycle trip, at the yard and jumping on us, happy to seeus. I absolutely recommend your house for a great vacation experience and I¹mlooking forward to come back in winter time.

We came by way of Robbinsville for a legend. We rode our iron horses from far away lands to North Carolina with one purpose: to slay a feared dragon. Then we stumbled upon this lovely house and beautiful farm, nestled in these magical mountains. We were inspired by its beauty. It strengthened our resolve and we continued our quest, rode our bikes and slayed the mighty dragon. Scott and family, absolutely wonderful. Thanks for sharing your farm. Thanks for the bread, it was delicious. Reluctantly we say our goodbyes but take with us life long memories of the dogs, donkeys and the mysterious shadows lurking by the edge of the forest at night...

When we decided to rent this property for our winter vacation, we had no idea just how great it was going to be. The cabin was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. The pictures are nothing compared to what it looks like in person. There were 14 of us (10 adults and 4 kids) and there was more than enough room to just hang out. The owner, Scott, was awesome and super accommodating. We could call him anytime and he would be there in a second to answer questions or show us good trails on his property. There is so much more I could say but its better to see it for yourself. I would recommend this cabin to everyone and we actually plan on going back in the fall. To Scott, thank you thank you thank you for being so great.

We had a family reunion after almost 20 odd years. It turned out just great. There was 13 of us and we had Thanksgiving together. The house was great, the owners were great and as was their children. The gang played football and had a good time. We enjoyed each others company and everything worked out well. There was hiking trails, water falls and a beautiful view from the porch. We would do it again.
